Royal Mirage Agadir

Royal Mirage is not even close to being a 4 star hotel. The food choices were awful and not at all family friendly. We were charged 25 Dirhams for a small bottle of milk for our 1 year old. Each time we were made to feel very bad asking for milk from the bar. All this, in spite of us paying for boarding. The hotel says "it's free for kids under 12" but this is is not fully true. We will never stay in this hotel even if offered for free.

The view was nice

It took us 40 minutes to check in as staff were very extra and slow. Staff were sometimes rude. The shower was broken. The flush was not working properly. No toiletries available such as toothbrush and tissue box. The extra beds were hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was the same every day. It was not worth the money.

No es un hotel de 4 estrellas, el agua de la piscina da asco al igual que el desayuno, respecto a las habitaciones no se por donde empezar, el minibar perdía agua por toda la habitación y el mueble estaba hinchado y mal oliente (no les importaba, dado que no nos cambiaron de habitación), el wc estaba atascado de antes, por lo que los desechos no bajaban (tampoco les importaba). Las escaleras parecían que tenían suciedad desde los años 70, de las 3 noches que nos quedamos ningún día hicieron la habitación, tampoco después de informarlo en recepción y tuvimos que buscar las toallas y el papel higiénico nosotros. La recepción era un caos nos atendían con mala cara antes de saber el motivo desde la primera vez que entramos.

-The staff was very good compared to the other hotels in Morocco. Special thanks goes to receptionist “Amina” whom I mostly dealt with. She was very cooperative. -The hotel is not directly located on the beach like some other hotels. But very satisfactorily centered on the Cornish in an active area close to restaurants, stop station of city tour train, the birds valley and other services. -Rooms in the high floors on the pool and sea side have fantastic view during the day time. (for these reasons, I extended my stay for 5 nights as the hotel overall worth staying in and the service deserve the rate )

-I booked one deluxe double room. I travelled single and I expected some Moroccan ( boy or girl) friend. I was surprised to know that I was not permitted to have a companion in my room. -I was charged for two taxes. Although during my booking it was mentioned that taxes are included except one. -I was given a room in the first floor (city side) for two nights. Location of this room was not good at all. I asked to change it from the beginning. I was tooled there was no room available. They changed me the room on the third night. -I was charged for using the Safe box in the room. That was not cleared during my booking. -Corridors are not very clean. Rooms are good. -Breakfast menu remained the same for five days.

Es un hotel cercano a la playa y muy tranquilo.

El personal apenas habla español. La señora de la limpieza olvida muchas veces reponer las toallas. A nosotros nos sacaron los colores cuando nos íbamos, acusándonos de que nos habíamos llevado una toalla de manos cuando realmente no la había repuesto el día anterior. Si vais aseguraos todos los días de que están todas.

Close to the beach and to tha main attraction of the city

I did not like the hotel because the standard was much lower than expected and for the value of money charched, for eample: low standar of the room, poor breakfast, extra payment for safe box and to wait for someone to operated, water run for long time before getting hot.
