Casa de Estoi

The quaintness and character of the house, both inside and out.

There were no credit card facilities and the pool was neither heated (as advertised) nor particularly clean. As an aside to the hotel itself, the neighbouring church chimes its bells on the hour and half hour too which can be a bit disruptive if you want an afternoon snooze by the pool!

the staff were very attentive and they had a pool table and a number of chess boards just laying around the place, it feels like your at home,

there was a lot of traffic sound, you are surrounded on all sides by road and they tend to fly around reving the engines a lot,
