눉The room had an odor that can only be described as mold. The beds were TERRIBLE. none of us slept well. The "free Breakfast" was scary. The cook takes your order, writes it down, delivers food, cooks food and who knows what else and NEVER CHANGED HER GLOVES. Disgusting and a health violation. The pool was so cloudy that we were afraid to swim in it. Unfortunately, the booking was non refundable so we were going to just get thru the three days. We did not plan on staying in the room much anyway I can not just get another room and not get a refund. Why do you think I stayed at an econo lodge anyway? It is not because I am rich or can afford to waste money. I promise you that. We left and found a different hotel after we were called by the management to complain about our 1.5 lb dog whining. He was kenneled and safe. Had plenty of food and water, was not too hot or cold and generally does not make much noise. We were 30 minutes from the hotel and had to turn around and go back. We get to the room and there are 4 people sitting outside our door (1 was literally leaning against it) smoking, talking, laughing. So yes... the dog was whining and barking. That's what dogs do. Had the employee walked to listen and see if the complaint was legit she would have seen the problem and possibly asked them to move instead of worrying about the dog. I told her that and she said "common sense tells you we are not a doggy day care". I admit, that downright pissed me off. If you are going to allow dogs, even charge a $10.00 per day fee to "allow" them, EXPECT SOME BARKING AND FIND OUT WHY THEY ARE BARKING. I said just give me a refund and we will be out. This was at 10:55 am. Check out was at 11. She said if you check out by 11 i will refund the other days. I said you know we cant pack and be out by 11. She smirked and said I will give you til 12. We were out by 11:06 Am. She was such a snippy little thing that I sincerely will not believe I got the refund until it shows up on the credit card. I have copies and video but I still just trust it yet. Anyway, we left and never looked back. I snapped a couple pics as we were leaving. The one wall had either blood or feces on it. Not sure which.
