Ventajas: The people are so proud and friendly and have done a stunning job on the property. The fact that it used to be family home is astounding because you wouldn’t ever guess by the luxurious space and modern decor. Getting serenaded by the waves at night is also a plus and having a pool sheltered from the wind was also nice. Would be good for solo traveler as super safe and secure, couples, families

Ventajas: Really wonderful place! The property was great, the room was very nicely decorated, airy and comfortable with doors that led to the pool. And the staff was incredibly kind, helpful and communicative. They went above and beyond. Plus, the location of the guesthouse was perfect; so close to everything, including the ocean.

Ventajas: I loved everything about my stay. The staff was super nice and helpfull. The hostel breakfast was amazing. The capsules are so cool and you can put the curtain down to make your capsule dark. The showers were super modern and clean. It’s very close to the center and the beach so you can just walk everywhere.

Ventajas: This place was incredible! It’s max 12 people so everyone quickly feels like family. Facilities are super modern and clean (massive rainfall shower heads are such a luxury! Bunk beds are so spacious and have blinds for privacy). Magdalena is so kind, approachable and helpful! Breakfast is such a wicked deal and served at the downstairs healthfood cafe. All round 100% best place to stay in Ericeira!

Ventajas: The most beautiful hostel I’ve visited so far. The staff was amazing and the property itself too. It has balconies / terrace overlooking the sea and the view is just spectacular. You can watch the surfers and the waves while having your breakfast (or wine)

Ventajas: The views are simply amazing especially from the cosy lounge area. Can’t beat that view! The fireplace was a dream, as was the spacious kitchen and the variety of the inclusive breakfast. Dorm is clean, spacious and comfortable with the sound of the ocean. Showers nice and hot. It was a chilled and friendly vibe. Surf lesson is recommended too!

Ventajas: We liked the staff they are wonderful. Telma at the restaurant was wonderful and even took time to teach me Portuguese! We also liked Miguel who told us everything there is to know about Portuguese wine. We also liked the nice girl from New Jersey working at the front desk as well as everyone else at the front desk, Superb customer service at all levels. The apartment is the biggest I have ever seen in Europe and is perfect in every way. Don't miss the sundown from the pool while sipping champagne! A very quiet location with no noise as well.

Solicitado masajes para el día siguiente y nos informan que no pueden prestarlos por falta de personal ya que una estaba de libranza y la otra había sufrido un percance con el automóvil el día anterior.

Ventajas: The location was great, very central at the square surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Very beautiful and well-designed guest house with a marine theme. Our room was very stylish and pretty - in white, blue and red. Very clean and comfortable. The hostess welcomed us with welcome drinks and she was very sweet and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very rich, delicious with many fresh products.

Desventajas: La ubicación... No está en Ericeira, que es lo que buscábamos.. No está lejos-lejos, pero hay que ir en coche al centro sí o sí.. Un gallo te despierta todas las mañanas sobre las 7:30 y no se calla, así que no hemos dormido tanto como nos hubiera gustado. El agua de la piscina está demasiado fría (15 grados ponía el termómetro, pero igual incluso sería menos..)

Ventajas: The breakfast was amazing with everthing freshly made. The staff was friendly and very willing to do all the best for the guest. The location is perfect for visiting Ericeira and Lisboa.
Desventajas: The fact that people can smoke directly at the entrance of the hostel and the door was always open. So when we were at the breakfast we have smoke that enter in the breakfast room. Really annoying, because all except that was excellent.

Pero sobre todo, hay que destacar el maravilloso trato y cariño que todo huésped recibe de la anfitriona, Cristina, que, con su calidez y profesionalidad, hace que de su acogida que te sientas en casa, que formes parte de su vida, y que no te falte de nada!!! The breakfast was exceptional. The garden, pool and terrace area were magnificent with a splendid view across the valley to Mafra.

Relaxed ambient, lovely, peaceful views, spotlessly clean spaces, comfortable and cosy, plenty of options on a really yummy breakfast and all this with the additional bonus of a private parking and a great host, Cristina, that made us feel at home since the first moment. Location is unbeatable as well, just a 5 min drive to Ericeira center but at the same time in a peaceful area away from the crowds and noise, convenient to travel around.

Desventajas: There is nothing I didn’t like. However the 6 bed dorm was not featured in the photos on booking.com. It was a triple bunk bed and not single beds as pictured. It was comfortable though.

Desventajas: Los cuartos de baño y la habitación no se corresponden con lo que publican en las fotos, la instalación es antigua y con falta de higiene, hay gatos en la bañera y en la piscina. En el desayuno no hay variedad y los alimentos son de baja calidad. Los huéspedes tienen que lavar los platos y limpiar la cocina. La habitación que da para la calle no está insonorizada, en lugar de almohadas hay cojines. No hay armario para guardar la ropa hay cajonera llena de polvo. No hay tv en las habitaciones.

Desventajas: I tripped and the staff weren’t very helpful they call the nurse and expected me to pay for the fall when the staff member gave wrong instructions to go to the common room. Secondly we had a 1 yr old and 3 yr old and was staying on the 1 st floor but the balcony wasn’t safe if we let them run around on their own then they would have fallen through to the bottom. Also the manger never listen to our side and just listen to his staff which I feel is wrong.

Ventajas: Lo que más me encantó fue el ambiente que hay tanto con los empleados cuanto con la gente que también está en el hostel. Los profesores son muy amigables y hacen parte del hostel. Hemos tenido la suerte de estar con Silas la gran mayoría del tiempo donde no solo cuido para que todo estaba bien en nuestra casa, pero que también nos enseño lo mejor de Ericeira. Un chico increíble! Aaaaa y la vista del mar es fantástica, hehe.

Ventajas: The staff were the best. Friendly, fun, relaxed, and lovely. The dinner was the best we had in Portugal. Better than restaurants. Loved the view. Loved the main rooms.
Desventajas: The facility could us some more hooks and towel racks, outside hose to wash wetsuits, tiny conveniences. There was nowhere to hang towels or wash surf gear, and we ended up dragging sand into the house. Our bed was not very comfortable, and we had some problems with that.

Ventajas: Un hostal muy agradable, con camas individuales muy comodas y agradables en el dormitorio compartido. Te dan toallas de forma gratuita y el desayuno es genial! El ambiente tambien es muy agradable y organizan actividades a diario.
Desventajas: Quizas creo que faltaria otro baño comun y fogones en la cocina para la gente que se queda varios dias o semanas!

Ventajas: Atmosphere was really fun (even though the hostel was full of germans haha)! It's in comfortable area but still near to the best restaurants and cafes (the mill, cucina37, rooftop bar etc.). We were having one guests birthday together in the hostel! :)
Desventajas: We reserved a surf lesson trough the hostel and the surf school never came to pick us up. We waited 45 mins and then the hostel offered our money back. Luckily we managed to get afternoon lesson, otherwise it would have been one empty day for us... Also the breakfast was basicly nothing. There is bar located next to the hostel and because there is no AC we had to keep windows open - take your earplugs..

Ventajas: Habitación limpia y espaciosa y mobiliario nuevo. Baño dentro de la habitación. En pleno centro de Ericeira.
Desventajas: Muy ruidoso debido a que al lado hay un pub. Bajamos a desayunar a las 8:30h y... café, algún trozo de pan y unas lonchas de queso sobrantes en un plato. ¿Tazas? Ni rastro... ¿Eso es desayuno incluido? Tanto a la entrada como a la salida las chicas que trabajan como voluntarias insistieron en que la habitación no constaba como pagada pese a que les mostré mi correo de confirmación y el movimiento en mi cuenta. Había demasiada gente y estaba todo un tanto desordenado; sobre todo si piensas que has reservado una habitación de tres y te meten en una de nueve personas...

Ventajas: Beautiful big house and a cute cottage converted to a dorm room were beautiful. Beach is walking distance about 25min mostly on dirt road.
Desventajas: The address was wrong or Google map directed me to a wrong location. When I mentioned it to the host she acted no big deal and never communicated about it. No wifi signal to the dorm room and when I contacted the host she didnt respond at all. On 2nd day I tried to go a common area in the main house for wifi use but the access door was locked! And again I wasn't informed that the area will be closed.

Desventajas: La llegada es un poco complicada aunque está muy cerca de la playa y de la carretera principal. Con el GPS encontramos el sitio sin problemas.

Ventajas: Our whole experience was amazing, from the friendly welcome with a glass of wine and snacks to the beautiful views and yummy breakfast (yoghurt and fruit bowls were delicious, and so were the croissants!). We stayed in the suite with balcony and it was so much more than I could imagine. Couldn’t choose one specific thing we liked because we loved it all, would highly recommend! Simply beautiful.

Desventajas: Room number 6 is absolutely shocking. We didn’t complain as we were in Portugal to purely surf and just needed a bed to sleep and the rest of the property is lovely, even if the kitchen is a little dated now ( but spotless ). Room number 6 has two single beds, a rear door and a tiny bathroom. No window / air con so it gets very hot and humid. The property sits above the sea so gets battered with onshore winds / rain. The property has a damp problem, our sheets / pillows smelt damp. The property has dehumidifiers dotted around to try and keep the problem under control. I’m writing this as I feel I need to be honest. This was our only issue staying at blue Buddha!!

Staff are diamonds, so friendly and so helpful, I felt like i was in a home from home all week, such a fabulous place to stay. Location great, right at sea front, you can hear the waves every night, fabulous. Lots of restaurants close.

Dejarlas allí habría sido como dejarlas en la calle. Yo tuve suerte de alquilar habitación de dos para dos. Y tener pequeño balcón sino, imposible de lo pequeñas que eran para dejar las Tablas. Lo único bueno, los huéspedes.

Ventajas: The location is awesome as the rooms are located right in the city center surrounded by restaurants, cafes etc. We met Ana when we arrived and she was very welcoming and kind. The bathrooms are very clean, big and comfortable.
Desventajas: At night it’s pretty loud in the streets but with closed windows the noise was totally bearable for us. Unfortunately the showers did not provide enough hot water which we already noticed in the first evening. The second night there was someone else before us in the shower so that there was no warm water left.

Ventajas: La señal de WiFi genial y las instalaciones muy limpias, cocina equipada (no tiene horno) y cama super cómoda.
Desventajas: A pesar de estar cerca de la playa NO es primera línea de playa tal y como dicen, sino que está en el centro y por cierto suele ser MUY RUIDOSO, sobre todo por el bar que tiene justo en frente que tiene la música a tope. Teniendo en cuenta que pagó por una habitación Deluxe (es lo que pone en la web) no debería suceder esto. Sólo dos baño para 4-5 habitaciones (unos para hombres y otro para mujeres, no entiendo el por qué de la diferenciación) y encima huele a alcantarilla,al menos el de mujeres. Además el que dentro del baño esté también la ducha puede resultar bastante incómodo por las esperas.

Ventajas: Good location, just a 10 min walk to the old centre. Decent breakfast and free parking available. Good ‘chill’ locations in the garden and kitchen.
Desventajas: Number of toilets and showers. Room was a bit small and humid.

Ventajas: The staff was amazing! Very helpful, super friendly, they scheduled surf classes for us and drove us to the lessons. The breakfast was tasty, the rooms clean and spacious. It is a wonderful place and recommended to everyone going to ericeira.

Ventajas: Amazing little space. Its atmosphere is unparalleled; it’s chill indeed. It’s everything a hostel should be — and more. They have fresh fruit on the table every morning. They have a patio with comfy colorful sofas. They have a grill outside. You can have breakfast breathing in the morning mist and enjoying the ocean view. You can have a glass of port while gazing at the sunset. Our 6-bed room had a balcony and a private bathroom. Everything, including the common areas, was sparkling clean. The staff were the nicest people. What’s not to love? Value for money is a wild understatement.
Desventajas: I can’t think of anything negative to say about this hostel.

Ventajas: Very clean, staff was very nice! Walking distance from the centre was fine. We really enjoyed the view. Breakfast was tasty.
Desventajas: A bit strange that you couldn't use the stove in the kitchen. The mattress was too hard for our taste, you could feel the spirals in the mattress, bed base was just a wooden board.

Ventajas: Good if you are travelling with the car - no problem with parking at all.
Desventajas: Waiting for more than 1 hour for the stuff to do the check -in. Also at booking website it didn't say that bathroom is shared with other room. Breakfast was ok. Wi-fi miserable.

Ventajas: Me gusto mucho el ambiente del lugar, las instalaciones y disposición que hacía que los huéspedes convivieran y compartieran desde el respeto y el buen rollo, un gran sitio para quedarse si viajas solo, con amigos o en pareja. Y si quieres aprender surf, por supuesto!

Ventajas: The location was good, close to food and the water
Desventajas: We were told we were going to be the only 4 people in our room so we went to bed with that expectation. Had our money and personal stuff out. At 3:45 AM 4 guys enter the room, they were loud, drunk and one guy immediately started to undress. He woke everyone up then climbed into his bed. The others left and sat outside on the patio and smoked, drank and were loud then they came in at 6:30 AM. I was very disappointed in our stay and the lack of regulations. Needless to say that none of us got any sleep!

Ventajas: La habitación era amplia y las camas cómodas. Lo mejor la tranquilidad del sitio y la simpatía y familiaridad de las personas que se hospedaban, gente joven de muchas nacionalidades muy cercanos y sociables
Desventajas: El baño compartido no estaba todo lo limpio q debería, pero creo q fue por la persona de la habitación con la q lo compartíamos q era un poco sucio y el agua caliente venía e iba a su antojo. La limpieza en general del alojamiento a mi parecer no era buena.

El Chill in Ericeira Surf House está situado en lo alto de una colina con vistas a la localidad de Ericeira y al océano Atlántico. Ofrece habitaciones privadas y compartidas coloridas. La playa Futuro está a poca distancia a pie. Los alojamientos del Chill in Ericeira son luminosos y tienen baño compartido. Algunas habitaciones tienen mosquitera y otras disponen de asiento junto a la ventana. La decoración incluye sillas en las paredes, donde se puede perder la ropa. Hay conexión Wi-Fi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. El desayuno bufé se sirve en el luminoso y colorido comedor de 9:00 a 11:00. En el centro de la localidad, situado a poca distancia a pie, hay bares, tiendas y varios restaurantes que sirven marisco fresco y platos de pescado. Ventajas: Lo que más me encantó fue el ambiente que hay tanto con los empleados cuanto con la gente que también está en el hostel. Los profesores son muy amigables y hacen parte del hostel. Hemos tenido la suerte de estar con Silas la gran mayoría del tiempo donde no solo cuido para que todo estaba bien en nuestra casa, pero que también nos enseño lo mejor de Ericeira. Un chico increíble! Aaaaa y la vista del mar es fantástica, hehe.

Ventajas: The staff were the best. Friendly, fun, relaxed, and lovely. The dinner was the best we had in Portugal. Better than restaurants. Loved the view. Loved the main rooms.
Desventajas: The facility could us some more hooks and towel racks, outside hose to wash wetsuits, tiny conveniences. There was nowhere to hang towels or wash surf gear, and we ended up dragging sand into the house. Our bed was not very comfortable, and we had some problems with that.

Ventajas: Un hostal muy agradable, con camas individuales muy comodas y agradables en el dormitorio compartido. Te dan toallas de forma gratuita y el desayuno es genial! El ambiente tambien es muy agradable y organizan actividades a diario.
Desventajas: Quizas creo que faltaria otro baño comun y fogones en la cocina para la gente que se queda varios dias o semanas!
