Red Lion Inn & Suites Walla Walla

Looked good but...

The room looked like it has been updated. The location to downtown and restaurants was great. Pretty easy access to the highway

Even though the room was nice, little was given to details. The picture frames were damaged, the bathtub drain plug was removed, water pressure in toilet wasn't good, the sliding door was old and was difficult to open or close. The curtains wouldn't close all the way so light was coming in. The continental breakfast was less than desirable, they didn't even have hot water for the tea. When I was trying to check out, the girl at the counter couldn't help me, even though the night before I talked to them about checking out early. Because of that, I was running late for my appointment and was never given a receipt. This was not the type of Red Lion I was expecting

Could use some updating. Red Lions at one time had a reputation which i would say rivaled a Hilton. However, over the years, they've let themselves (in general) go down hill. The Walla Walla location overall is clean. The carpet could use a good cleaning and the roof is covered with moss-not a good first impression. Outside colors are atrocious.
