Desventajas: "enforcing rules and regulations too passengers. as a person of purchasing additional leg room, this should be enforced to pay for additional leg room vs just giving that additional space for free. This is the second time I experienced and this has not changed since last year."

Desventajas: "Flight attendants need to come around more often to offer water or other beverages because dehydration is such an issue on a 16+ hour flight. In addition, we boarded on time at 1:00 for a 1:45am flight but did not leave the gate until 4:00am. This jeopardized my connection in Manila."

Desventajas: "It’s such a shame that Philippine Airlines (PAL) charged extra for aisle and window seats! There was so much vacant seats during the flight. This was a deliberate way of PAL to extract more money from their passengers. In the future, my family and I will not choose PAL anymore. We felt cheated."

Desventajas: "If the flight was on time. The flight was delayed which resulted on missing my connecting fllight to Denver. I have to stay and wait at the San Francisco airport for 19 hours"

Desventajas: "Pls add quantity to the food. There was not enough meat to the amount of rice or pasta served. I got hungry between meals. Water was also not offered often enough between meals."

Ventajas: "Aside from the scare of not making my flight because it was overbooked. I think the boarding process could have been a little more efficient. The staff are amazing as always which is why PAL is my preferred airline when traveling to and within Philippines."
Desventajas: "Since I have pretty broad shoulders, it’s difficult to sleep in the isles. Not to mention the multiple babies crying. Outside of that, everything was wonderful."

Desventajas: "A big negative was the transit lounge in Manila. Between 2 Philippine Airline flights we had an 8 hour layover in the Manila transit lounge. Not impressed at all. There were about 4/5 staff but they sat outside the lounge & did nothing to control the passengers & keep them quiet /organised. The lounge was very crowded, very noisy & there was only water to drink & nothing to eat. For 8 hours! The very least should be to supply more seating & a facility where passengers can order coffee/tea & snacks. Also there was only 1 ladies toilet, so always occupied. The lounge Definately needs an urgent upgrade in facilities then I would consider flying Phillipine Aiines again."

Ventajas: "Up to date and WORKING entertainment system. Ample charging options. Business class seat operation a little cumbersome and complex, but fully reclining"
Desventajas: "Came down with flu right after flying, again! Most likely sources are passaenger poor hygiene, poor cleaning practice between flight and poor air recirculation with inadequate filtration...hope to fix those things one day"

Desventajas: "The flight was delayed 2+ hours, not getting in Vancouver until after 5am. Everyone on the flight, passengers and staff were extremely rude. Never taking this airline again!! Also, there was no food left by the time the served me near the end of the plane."

Desventajas: "I checked in early and was given a middle seat. I have back problems and walk with a cane and asked at the check in desk if I could have a window or aisle. I was told no because the flight was completely booked. I arrived three hours early and checked in online so I could get a better seat and they still said no. No one was able to help me. The flight was delayed over an hour and there was no apology. I always fly Philippine Airlines because IV always been really pleased with the service. This past flight makes me question that decision going forward."

Ventajas: "Everything was excellent. Extremely good service compared to North American carriers. Only thing that went wrong was we left early and landed an hour early and our gate wasn't ready yet :)"

Desventajas: "First of all, both on my departure and return flight, despite having boarded 30 minutes ahead of schedule, we remained on the floor for an additional hour (both for taking and after landing). Next, the flight attendants did a poor job of ensuring that everyone did not get up when we landed and the seatbelt sign was on, and this led to herds of people running through the aisles and rushing to get off past those that were patiently waiting. The leg room is very limited, unless it is an empty flight. The red wine was perhaps the worst I have ever had. AND the wifi that was available for purchase was 40 USD for only 150 mb of data which is absolutely ridiculous."

Ventajas: "We got 2 food vouchers one at night, the other early in the morning. However the food establishment was so pricy a chocolate bar was $7 USD."
Desventajas: "13 hour delay, would not let us go home, would not cancel the flight, instead pushed the boarding time back one hour every hour starting at 4am. Flight was supposed to leave JFK by 11:55pm, we left at 1pm the following day. It wasn't solely due to the weather (we expected a slight delay), but in the morning, plenty of other flights were running regularly, while there were no updates. No one that cared, all the staff just told us it wasn't their fault. (Which is true to an extent), but all so mentioned that they were tired too, and they're exhausted too, which made many people angrier. They deflected a lot of statements."

Desventajas: "Flight was delayed by a really long time. They should have sent people to hotels or cancelled flight. Delay too long (especially for elderly and children)"

Ventajas: "Very friendly and helpful cabin staff. Still the most covenient flight to and from the Philippines."
Desventajas: "The line at JFK. There we not enough seats for passengers. Sink was clogged in one restroom and remained so even after the "technical" layover at YVR."
