“The view of mountain peaks from the balcony was amazing. We drank several bottles of wine while relaxing there after hikes. The food the hotel restaurant offered was very delicious. The kalbtartar was one of the best I've eaten, but because we were taking long energy sapping hikes on the days we stayed there, we didn't care for how the menu presented course options. After a long hike, one just wants to order something simple and delicious to quickly refill their empty stomachs, and replenish the enormous amount of calories lost during the hike. The hotel's menu is designed for people who want to engage in long and leisurely fine dining, where selections are setup in meal courses that are beautifully presented to the diners. It was not something we were interested in after our long hikes. We ate there on our first evening, and then had food delivered from outside on subsequent evenings.”
