Ventajas: The style and ambience of the hotel is so beautiful. The theme is music and there is an amazingly designed contemporary grand piano in the meeting area which are so stylish - every day there is live piano music and cheese & wine served between 4-6 (all complimentary) which is a delight to relax to. The breakfasts are substantial and beautifully presented. Our room was most elegant and beautifully appointed. The roof bar is also a must - for a late night drink overlooking the City. Finally, the location is fabulous - near the basilica and central to everything that is going on. A real gem.

Ventajas: The hotel was beautiful. We were given a free room upgrade as we were visiting for my partners birthday and anniversary. Location was great.

All requests were accommodated with a smile and without fuss. High Note Skybar was a fantastic after dinner hangout, really good cocktails and views, good bar menu too. The GM personally knocked on out door to wish us Merry Christmas. Will be back in a flash

Ventajas: Gran ubicación cerca de 2 paradas de metro y una línea de tranvía. Hermosa decoración interior. Todo el día el café/capuchino gratuito, el agua y los aperitivos eran fantásticos. El desayuno era generoso; incluso se podía tomar una copa de champán.
Desventajas: Me hubiera gustado que tuvieran ropa de lavado y acondicionador de pelo. No es un gran problema, pero habría sido agradable.

Ventajas: Location is perfect, but even more that it’s like a little oasis of peace and ease from the moment you step in. A gentle warm aroma fills the air, the design is clean and modern while still cozy. The staff polite and helpful. The lobby is very cosy, I liked the tea and coffee you can take and sometimes a local cake to try! Would come again when visiting Budapest for sure.
Desventajas: Nothing not to like really. If I have to say something is that the rooms were really warm which was easily solved and I some fresh fruit and fresh juice at breakfast would’ve been nice.

Personal, desayuno, servicio de recogida y traslado al hotel, gestión de entradas, su restaurante con estrella Michelin , y como no, el detalle que tuvieron de dejarme un regalo por ser mi cumpleaños.

Desventajas: We visited Budapest during December 2019. The hotel is placed at a great location close to all actions of the season. The Christmas markets, shopping & restaurants. All the city attractions are within waking distance, we had to use a Taxi only once. The rooms are at good size, well equipped. Shower room is quite large in new condition and clean. There is a good closet and a coffee machine. Room is kept clean at all times. Low side is the ventilation. All rooms has no windows to the outside, all windows facing the lobby. When the window is open it is very noise and sleeping is interfered. We closed the windows and slept with AC on. It worked for us well. The service is exceptional, always available, willing to help and had good English. Breakfast is good, high class. Still need more viraity on cheeses, vegetables and other. We have used the hotel's shuttle from and to the airport. It saved us alot of effort and time. Price was good in compare to same type of service. Will reccomend the hotel.

Desventajas: The windows face a central lobby, which is very noisy and the windows are not sound proof. So expect noise at all times of the day. The glass should be double insulated. The heating in the bathrooms did not work in both rooms. Both pillows were much too hard for me. The breakfast needs more fruit selection, but was otherwise correct.

Desventajas: Bueno, me tocó viajar con medicamentos/ Medicina que deben mantenerse en frío, los conservantes de frio , tipicos para mantener la temperatura deben estar congelados y en el hotel no me permitieron congelarlos, entendiendo que son medicamentos y una necesidad. Tampoco me permitieron hacerlo en el restaurante, ya que no podian colocarlos en el congelador porque una ley interna del hotel no les permite hacerlo. En fin si viajan con medicamentos que necesitan conservarse en frío el hotel no les brindará ayuda en cuanto a eso, se tendran que buscar la forma para mantener sus medicamentos en frío por su propios medios ya que el hotel no te dará una mano tampoco. Algo que si en otros hoteles me permitieron hacer y han proporcionado ayuda. Y Algunas habitaciones no cuentan con ventanas al exterior!

Ventajas: El Corinthia es una hotel muy tradicional de Budapest, el edificio como tal es imponente con una arquitectura hermosa. Las habitaciones muy elegantes y la camas y almohadas increíbles. La ubicación fue excelente, fuimos caminando a casi todos los sitios de interés, teniendo en cuenta que Budapest es una ciudad bastante grande.
Desventajas: A través del hotel reservamos un tour privado en español y no fue para nada lo esperado a pesar que pagamos una cifra altisima al hotel. (Budapest es de las ciudades europeas con precios más accesibles en la que hemos estado) y como veníamos de otras ciudades donde también tomamos diferentes tours pues este fue decepcionante. Budapest es una ciudad alucinante llena de historia y cultura y realmente sentimos que aprendimos más en dos hrs del bus rojos turistico (el cual recomendamos a ojo cerrado tomarlo) que en el tour privado. Por otro lado, por descuido nuestro hemos dejado unos artículos en la habitación y a pesar de nuestras llamadas y de enviar emails no hemos obtenido respuesta del hotel. Cuando lo cierto es que toda la comunicación cruzada con el hotel vía emails previa al check in fue muy rápida y fluida.

Ventajas: La habitación aunque era interior, era muy bonita. Aunque no tenía vistas buenas. La cama muy cómoda, habitación silenciosa, a pesar de estar al lado del ascensor. La decoración del hotel es guapísima y muy moderna. El roof top es muy bonito también y tiene unas vistas espectaculares.
Desventajas: A veces hay olor de comida en el pasillo hacia las habitaciones. Para subir al Roof top nos han puesto un poco de problema. Pero hemos podido subir.

Ventajas: The hotel was located in a prime location right by the chain bridge and close to the funicular to the BUDA castle. It was not too huge which felt nicely private. Check in and check out smooth and efficient. Good food with nice portions, restaurant and bar was small but ambient was good. All staff was attentive at all times and very helpful. Rooms small but effectively furnished.
Desventajas: However the hotel wasn’t super big, I would have wished for a better sized gym and sauna. There was only one treadmill and a multi strength maschine as well as a few dumbbells. For a 4 star adult hotel too little in my opinion. Also the bathroom could have been more separate from the rest of the room. Lastly, the cocktail menu could have been slightly more diverse and the music during breakfast time was sometimes a little too loud.

Ventajas: El hotel es muy lindo, tiene un diseño muy particular y una decoración muy apropiada. La mayoría de las habitaciones tiene una vista excelente al río y al puente. Justo enfrente del hotel está el ascensor para subir a la Iglesia de San Nicolas y a otras atracciones relevantes de la ciudad.

The breakfast was really good and with a good selection. Very nice, large and clean room. Also, cheers to our new friend Aron the bartender of the hotel.
Desventajas: I could mention only one minor thing, the default selection of pillows and duvets. I would be prefer the default choice to be softer pillows and a double duvet, but since they offer the option to change, it was really not the case.

Ventajas: Beautiful architecture, rich in details, professional staff - these are some, but not all, things that come to mind when I think back of my stay in the hotel. The breakfast had a variety of food choices and the waiters are extremely polite.
Desventajas: This year I visited the hotel twice; unfortunately, Unfortunately, whether by a stroke of bad luck or something else, the room I stayed in had plumbing issues (last time it was the cleanliness). The bathtub faucet had really low hot water pressure, which couldn't "power" the attached showerhead. The other showerhead that comes from the wall was clogged and leaking from the sides, and the hot/cold water handle kept falling off. I reported the issues to the front desk, and the maintenance team fixed the last two. The hotel staff, as always, were polite and professional - which is the reason I will keep coming here for many years to come.

Ventajas: ¡este hotel estaba en la ubicación más perfecta! El mercado de Navidad estaba justo detrás del hotel, el río y el puente Chain estaban a unas 2-3 manzanas de distancia, y la famosa calle comercial Vaci uti estaba a 1 cuadra de distancia. Las habitaciones eran muy cómodas y proporcionaban zapatillas y albornoces de lujo.
Desventajas: El olor perfumado en el vestíbulo y en los pasillos era un poco abrumador (afortunadamente no impregnó las habitaciones o habría sido un problema). Siguieron jugando un anuncio para su hotel en la televisión que encontré sexista y ofensivo (mostrando a su criada tomando un baño de burbujas y vestirse con un thong de encaje antes de venir a trabajar a la cadena de hoteles Kempinski (¿de qué se trata?).

The doors may be locked, but the are not sound-proof. Privacy is far away in such a room ;-(( We would have loved 2 complimentary bottles of water in the room on the day we arrived.

Ventajas: The room was large and clean. The hotel was in a perfect location for the Christmas markets and also served great food in the hotel restaurant. However, we did not venture into the Japanese restaurant due to the vast expense compared to the hotel’s restaurant and other close by restaurants!! Everyone spoke excellent English so there was no confusion, just be aware of room tax and deposit before you stay (read the small print!) Facilities were spot on as well as the massage therapists who were professional and highly experienced. Would love to return in the summer to the same hotel as we enjoyed it so much. Thank you!

I sat in the cold and dark in despair when a stranger took pity on me. Then I found it was a bait and switch. The actual address was two blocks away and I had already dismissed my taxi. I am 60 and had three bags to carry. An agent arrived who was a total ice queen, clearly disgruntled, who spoke no English, didn't offer to even help with the small roller bag and raced ahead of me by nearly a block. The pictures of the building and the room in the ad are NOT the apartment I got at all. The actual apartment was OK, but very dark. Then it got worse....

Desventajas: This is the first time I've had to give a BAD review. I extended, not for the apartment, but for Budapest. The manager ducked my emails (four of them) for two days. Then insisted that I rebook via the website-- this was a first as I have extended several other bookings. That meant another 30 Euro cleaning fee, even though the room would not be cleaned again. I objected to this and the manager said "OK." Then he insisted on a 30 Euro fee for a "late check in," even though I was extending, not checking in again. I objected to this and the manager replied "OK." Then on the extension date at check out time when it was too late to make other arrangements, the ice queen agent comes and insists not only on the new daily fees, but also the 30 euro cleaning fee!! On her phone the manager now said that he had to charge the cleaning fee, an obvious lie. So he is a shake down artist. This very negative experience basically spoiled my whole trip to a lovely city. Don't destroy your visit, stay somewhere else!

Desventajas: Para empezar estuvimos una hora esperando en la calle a 30 grados para que nos dieran las llaves, sin darnos ninguna explicación ni cogernos el teléfono. En principio estábamos delante del apartamento pero resultó no ser allí, caminamos unos 10 minutos con maletas y calor hasta el verdadero apartamento. Quiero aclarar que la ubicación real era muy buena, pero no entiendo porque ponen otra ubicación en la web, realmente no era lo que yo había contratado. Además llegamos al apartamento y la limpiadora se puso a colgar la ropa de la lavadora y después se marchó. El primer día las sábanas estaban mojadas y dormimos encima de la sábana superior tapados con la funda del nórdico y el segundo día tuvimos que hacer nosotros la cama. Creo que son servicios mínimos que no tuvimos. Y aún esperamos una disculpa o una explicación

Desventajas: Had the worst experience of my life choosing such apartment to spend some wonderful holidays, I was with my kids we entered in the property as I don’t know my apartment # I Called the host at first she picked and asked me that My apartment was at first floor I entered in her instructions but the keys and apartment was not there, I called her again but she was not picking up the call I called her many time as I was with my kids but no answer, then I went out from the property as it was giving extremely horrifying look to my kids then search new hotel, I asked the host to refund some amount but she refused, using booking.com from the last 5 6 years never had such a bad experience in my life

Ventajas: La ubicación del lugar es increíble, fácil acceso a las instalaciones una vez que ya hiciste contacto con las personas, te entregan códigos de ingreso para las puertas. Afuera se encuentra una plaza muy céntrica, donde tienes parada de Camión turístico, parada de metro, taxis y comida.
Desventajas: Un poco complicado para contactar a las personas en caso de que no tengas teléfono a donde hablar ni correo Me comentaron acerca del servicio de traslado al Aeropuerto el cual me cobraron 25 EUR mas, no se aparecieron al día siguiente como se había acordado, el punto de encuentro fue acordado a las 10:00 am en la puerta de las instalaciones y espere hasta las 10:30 y no se aparecieron, con esto tuve que tomar un taxi al aeropuerto el cual me costo cerca de 70 EUR. Lo mismo no contestan los correos con el reclamo de efectivo ni de servicio.

Ventajas: La ubicación es buena, el personal de registro está bien, pero el gerente es el peor gerente que he visto en un hotel.
Desventajas: Fui a Budapest con mi esposa y mi bebé, nos dieron una habitación más baja que una habitación donde estaban remodelando, oí martilleo, máquinas, me dio dolores de cabeza, durante 5 horas, y llamé al menos 10 veces y no les importaba, nunca se detuvieron. La peor experiencia de hotel.

Ventajas: The location was excellent. The metro/bus stop is very close. The 100E bus for airport also stops nearby. Most of the tourist places are close. The staffs were very nice. Room was spacious. Breakfast was very nice.

We did not add the label outside Off the room that we need someone to clean our room but she just got in without our permission. But everything else was perfect

Ventajas: Really close (8min walk) to the Vörösmarty Christmas Market and 5 min walk to Astoria subway Station. Very close to the Central Market and the White Bridge (the way to Buda Castle - 3 bus stops). The breakfast was great, many things to choose from (note that from 8 to 9:30 it could be hard to find a table). The have a computer and a printer where you can print by yourself the boarding passes.
Desventajas: We visited in December, so it was quite cold in Budapest. Because the room has a small heater we asked for an extra electric one, which they do not have. We received extra blankets. Another thing we did not like is that the room was really crowded with too many pieces of furniture (2 chairs, 2 tables and a desk).

We also very much appreciated the breakfast package provided for our very early departure on the last day. The beds are very comfortable. Wifi is good, The personnel is very professional.
Desventajas: The noise from the street is too loud, even with the window shut. (We did ask for rooms on the backside at reservation, but mine was on the street side) The room was too hot. There is too much furniture for the size of the room.

Desventajas: ¡ojo! cargos en tarjeta una vez que sales del hotel, tened cuidado con el hotel, haciendo check out nos dijeron que si habíamos consumido algo del minibar y le indicamos que no, cual fue nuestra sorpresa que no hicieron un cargo en la tarjeta de 2500huf, tras escribir al hotel nos dijeron que había sido por consumir en el minibar, ni lo abrimos, es una vergüenza vaya trato recibido, espero que eso no lo hagan con todos los huéspedes, así se sacan un extra. con ese gesto han estropeado todo lo demás.

Ventajas: El personal era atento y agradable. El desayuno es increíble, enorme y muchas opciones que está incluido en el precio de la habitación. El precio era muy razonable. El acceso a los baños es muy conveniente y los huéspedes obtienen una entrada con descuento, es maravilloso caminar en su gran albornoz y disfrutar de la casa de baños. El hotel también proporciona toallas, con beneficios adicionales. El tranvía está directamente cruzando la calle y permite el acceso a todas las direcciones de la ciudad. Las vistas son impresionantes de los puentes y el río. Estuvimos allí en noviembre, así que no estaba lleno.
Desventajas: El mobiliario de las habitaciones es chic shabby, parece el mobiliario original de 1918. A pesar de los muebles es cómodo y las sábanas están limpias y de buena calidad. Podrían usar almohadas nuevas, están bajas pero muy planas.

Ventajas: Las vías de tranvía están justo al lado, el personal es amable, el edificio hermoso por dentro y por fuera, el desayuno buffet es increíble, un restaurante muy agradable y bar al lado, camas cómodas, tiene fácil acceso a los baños Gellert.
Desventajas: La moqueta y el minibar en la habitación parecían un poco anticuados, pero todo estaba limpio y era cómodo, así que fue un tema de menor importancia.

Ventajas: The hotel is old but clean and well maintained. Our rooms were large and the bathrooms huge by European standards. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast is great and access is very easy by metro and bus, both right across the street from the hotel. The thermal spas were fantastic and although busy not crowded. Use the spas on the side of the swimming pool, it attracts less visitors. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Will certainly return.

Desventajas: Very old with signs of deferred maintenance. E.g. The upstairs bathroom leaked and made a mess of our bathroom. The good thing is the hotel staff came right away and fixed the problem. The location of hotel is far from the major tourist attractions as it is on the Buda side of the river. The SPA IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT: it reminds me an old hotel swimming pool with freezing cold water.

Ventajas: Hotel is beautiful, spa was great. I went early, wasn't busy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in great location, nice walk into centre to Christmas markets. Post box outside was handy. Only issue for me was breakfast - on first day, there was no available table. So I sat at large empty table I found at end of last (3rd) breakfast room. After about 5mins, an angry restaurant manager came and threw me off that table in a very dramatic, aggressive manner. Humiliating - in front of all other guests. I explained that there were no available tables. He later apologised when he met me in a corridor of hotel. On 2nd morning it was even busier, I asked where I was allowed to sit. I was told to sit in lobby. I asked girl serving for cutlery (none on lobby tables), she ignored me. They simply cannot accommodate the numbers of people eating breakfast. The variety of food for breakfast is great. Just a shame the staff need more training to provide good service.
