La Villa Moments ofrece alojamiento en elegantes suites y habitaciones a 500 metros de la famosa playa de Rocha y a 2,5 km del centro de Portimão. Además, hay aparcamiento gratuito. Las suites disponen de aire acondicionado, TV de pantalla plana y baño privado con artículos de aseo gratuitos. Algunas incluyen una terraza amueblada amplia. El establecimiento sirve el desayuno todas las mañanas. Bajo petición, se pueden preparar desayunos vegetarianos, macrobióticos o para celíacos. El establecimiento alberga una sala de juegos con billar y dardos. También hay una piscina rodeada de tumbonas. También se ofrece servicio de masajes y sesiones de yoga y meditación privadas. Ventajas: Dispone de nevera común en la cocina por lo que es fácil tener bebida fría y comida rápida para prepararla allí. Tiene una piscina con zona de césped y hamacas, además nuestra habitación tenía acceso directo a ella. Dispone de sala de juegos con billar y futbolín gratuitos en la planta baja. Hay hueco en la calle para aparcar sin problemas pero hay que hacerlo encima de la acera. El personal del hotel es muy amable. La habitación tiene una cama amplia y cómoda y dispone de varias almohadas de diferentes dureza para que puedas elegir. No había mucho espacio en el cuarto pero sí el suficiente para dejar la maletas y moverte. El baño era amplio.
Desventajas: Fuimos a coger papel de aluminio de la cocina y había en el cajón hormigas, al igual que en el fregadero.

Ventajas: Bernadette was nice although the breakfast was better on some days than others. I.e our 1st morning and last morning where we had fruit served in individual glasses. Other days on platter not too bad just not as nice. The bed was comfortable, room and shower room good sized with doors opening onto the outside space. Pool looked lovely too cold to use but would have if warmer. They offered an honesty box style fridge supplies. Did not use but useful if needed. Although wine was restaurant prices rather than shop prices. We bought own and cooled in fridge.
Desventajas: No one to meet us had to contact booking.com to get hold of hosts we had given arrival time and had to wait 50 minutes to be let in. Host rushed us around and did not seem happy to be there. Room we booked in the description suggested bath and shower only bath not suitable for me. They changed our room which in fact was much nicer. One day room not serviced. Although others rated the hosts we did not see them but for a rushed moment when Fatima came to villa late in evening. No water offered at breakfast we had to supply our own which is annoying when you do not drink tea or coffee.

Ventajas: Beautiful spacious stately home, gold room was large and private with a nice jacuzzi in bathroom and huge private terrace. The host, Carlos took his time to recommend great restaurants.
Desventajas: Although breakfast was ok, was disappointed to find that eggs were gone by 9 30, when I told Bernadette there were no eggs left she said it would take 15 minutes to make more boiled eggs, to which I said that’s ok, we don’t mind the wait. But she then offered to make scrambled eggs which were delicious

Ventajas: Breakfast was super good! The building is so beautiful, it feels like you have the villa for your own. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was fine. Nothing else is needed for us. Would love to go back.
Desventajas: We had a shower in the bath, something we not prefer. However, the shower was good!

Ventajas: We loved our 2 bedroom townhouse, by the pool, very spacious ,modern ,clean and comfy beds. Great fully equipped kitchen, perfect for making meals. Pool was lovely and warm and the spa had another large pool and hot tub,as well as steam room and sauna. Reception staff at check in and check out were so helpful, provided lots of info re beaches and local must sees. We had car problems and the nice man at check out called Avis for us.W e travel often, and I give Buenavista 5 stars.

Ventajas: Villa Moments. It's not a Hotel and it's not a Bed & Breakfast but something far more interesting - a villa divided into suites with wonderful communal spaces, and no staff staying on-site. We had the suite with the large terrace and opulent bathroom (almost Art Deco) with the jacuzzi (but sadly no shower). The room was well appointed and had a large comfortable bed. Breakfast on the outside terrace was great with plenty of choice (even providing Gluten Free options). The pool was a little chilly in mid-september but still nice and refreshing. The back garden and communal space were most welcome as was the games room, book shelf and piano. Located away from the main strip of Praia da Rocha it was in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful and Bernadette's cheery attitude certainly livened up breakfast. Although we didn't use it the kitchenette looked well equipped and is a great idea for when you don't want to eat out.

Ventajas: Beautiful villa in its own pristine grounds everything you need for a chilled out quiet vacation.Staff were kind a very welcoming nothing too much trouble a special mention to Bernadette who is a very special lady who looked after us and made our stay special. Thank you to all highly recommend 100%.
Desventajas: The only down side is it’s distance from the sea front 10 min walk .

Ventajas: Es un alojamiento inmejorable. Los dueños son muy muy amables. No dudaron en explicarnos donde ir y que poder hacer. La casa dispone de 5 habitaciones separadas y es muy tranquila. La decoración moderna y elegante. El desayuno es muy bueno. Tienen una cocinera francesa que hace unos dulces increíbles. La piscina es genial. Siempre que nos dimos un baño, la piscina para nosotros. Lo mejor, poder disponer de la piscina las 24h del día. El precio más que razonable para la zona y la época. Además, el hotel/casa se encuentra en una zona residencial donde es muy fácil aparcar gratuitamente. Salimos muy contentos de nuestra estancia.
Desventajas: Nada que objetar. Por comentar algo el pequeño paseo que hay que dar para llegar a la playa (10min, a paso muy tranquilo).

El Vila Lido ofrece habitaciones rodeadas por un jardín. Se encuentra en la zona turística de la playa Da Rocha, junto al fuerte de Santa Catarina. Goza de vistas al océano Atlántico, al puerto deportivo y a la playa. Las habitaciones tienen conexión Wi-Fi gratuita, TV LCD y baño privado con artículos de aseo gratuitos y secador de pelo. El comedor y el salón del Vila Lido tienen azulejos antiguos pintados a mano, techos de castaño tallado y chimenea. Hay una zona de comedor al aire libre, además de muchos locales de restauración a pocos pasos del establecimiento. Los huéspedes encontrarán un casino, restaurantes, bares y tiendas a pocos pasos del establecimiento. En la playa Da Rocha se pueden practicar diversos deportes acuáticos y utilizar barcas de pedales. El establecimiento ofrece un servicio de alquiler de coches bajo petición, así como un servicio de enlace con el aeropuerto por un suplemento. El Vila Lido se encuentra a 55 minutos en coche del aeropuerto internacional de Faro y a unos 10 minutos en coche de la pintoresca localidad de Alvor.

Ventajas: Beautiful accommodation, at end of main strip opposite the castle . Staff were lovely and friendly, never slept so well ,bed was excellent. Room spotless and exceptional cleaning . It was lovely to come back to a freshly made bed and fresh towels every day. Villa Lido you are a little gem , will definitely be back

Ventajas: La experiencia fue inmejorable. La estancia súper limpia, en planta baja con una terraza y jardin genial para que mis hijos jugaran. El desayuno que ofrecen es fantástico y la terraza donde lo sirven es muy agradable con vistas a la playa. El personal es fabuloso, Francisco y su equipo hacen que la estancia en Vila Lido sea inolvidable. La ubicación también es fantástica. Repetiremos y recomendaremos a familiares y amigos.

Ventajas: The location was superb. The Villa is well maintained yet it is one of the older places on that strip therefore everything is built to a large scale. The rooms, hallways, stairwell are all spacious. The attention to detail from the era it was built has been well maintained. Francesco was very friendly and helpful as was his staff. Francesco offered us his personal number to call at 6:00 am in case we couldn't get our taxi to the train station. Thankfully he got to sleep in!
Desventajas: Everything was wonderful! If I had to look for something to say that I didn't like it would be the bed was slightly harder than I like. The Vila Lido really is very nice. Lovely room with a nice breakfast in the morning. It's a perfect location at the end of the strip with hotels, shops and restaurants, very close to the historic fort and across the street from the stairway down to the beach.

Ventajas: Estuvimos 2 noches y la verdad que el alojamiento es tal y como aparece en las fotos. Las habitaciones son amplias, con terraza y baño grande. Al lado de la playa y de restaurantes y sitios para cenar. El aparcamiento en la zona es sencillo si das un par de vueltas. Volvería a alojarme sin duda.

Ventajas: A very beautiful location directly in the city center and yet quiet. An extremely friendly host. Spacious and clean rooms, very well equipped. Large and comfortable beds. An inviting large roof terrace. Numerous cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Ventajas: No elegí desayuno, preferíamos hacerlo fuera. La ubicación muy buena, en una calle muy céntrica, tranquila y además dentro del ambiente local: calles pavimentadas al estilo de la zona, casas con mucha personalidad, poco turístico. Al salir a la puerta podíamos ver el mar al fondo. Disfrutamos mucho de las dos plazas, y sus terrazas, cercanas al hotel. Desde Portimao visitamos la costa desde una lancha, espectacular. Destacar la atención de las personas que nos atendieron en el hotel, nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Muy amables.

Ventajas: Como siempre, la habitacion estaba limpisima y muy comoda. Es relativamente facil aparcar y puedes ir a diversos sitios de interes tanto a pie como coger el coche sin miedo a no poder aparcar despues. Siempre que vamos a portimao me alojo aqui. Muy recomendable.
Desventajas: Todo estaba perfecto.

Ventajas: Se encuentra muy cerca del Centro y del Puerto de Portimão. El hotel es muy tranquilo (yo fui en octubre) y la atención de Nuno, la persona a cargo, fue muy buena y él es muy simpatico. El precio de la habitación me pareció que estuvo muy bien en relación a las comodidades que tuve (televisón, AC, nevera pequeña, caja de seguridad) y la habitación era muy comoda. Si vuelvo a Portimão me quedaría otra vez en este hotel.

Ventajas: We had a very good stay at NDS Prestige Guesthouse. It was modern and comfortable, close to the boat harbor and seafood restaurants. Nuno, the General manager, was very helpful, including getting up early to help us with a taxi. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Ventajas: El trato de Manuela la anfitriona fue totalmente excepcional, muy cariñosa y preguntando a cada momento si necesitábamos algo o si nos faltaba alguna cosa, el desayuno muy rico y el alojamiento muy bien en general. Aparcamiento gratuito justo enfrente del alojamiento
Desventajas: La ubicación, está situado un poco lejos del centro y de las playas, pero en nuestro caso no supuso un problema porque llevábamos coche y nuestra idea era visitar las diferentes playas del Algarve por lo que no supuso ningún problema.

Ventajas: Hostel completamente nuevo y moderno. Habitación amplia, cama súper cómoda y todo súper limpio (incluidos los baños compartidos). Aire acondicionado. Personal muy amable y servicial. Nos ofrecieron dejar las maletas allí y ducharnos por la tarde, tras hacer el check-out, por si queríamos pasar el día en la playa. Piscina muy limpia y tranquila. Cocina comunitaria totalmente equipada y amplia.
Desventajas: Un poco alejado de la playa, pero a la vez es un sitio perfecto para descansar en Portimao

Ventajas: The common area is really spacious and the outer space with the swimming pool is comfy and enjoyable. The beach is at reasonable walking distance and other service are also close. The staff members are really helpful and kind, it's the best place to meet new people!

Ventajas: Great location. Good access to the beach. Good localisation to the rest of the town and boulevard. Friendly personnel in the restaurant area. Great view.
Desventajas: Breakfast scores 1/10. Not worth 4 star, omelette is made out of a package and not fresh biologic eggs. Coffee from a cheap machine mixed with added sugars. Bread and pastries were not edible for me. The mattress of the bed is cheap and hard. Like I said this is hotel is not worth 4 star, more like 3 star in accordance with the European standard.

Ventajas: Hotel by the sea front, with a wonderful balcony. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also great. 65" LCD TV was a good surprise. Champagne in the room because it was part of the honeymoon stay. The restaurant was good not so much because of the quantity but more because of the quality.
Desventajas: The swimming pool was not so big but who really cares when you have a marvelous beach with clean waters in front of you.

Ventajas: Casa muy agradable con 7 habitaciones. Desayuno correcto en una zona común bien dispuesta. Mobiliario elegante y adecuado. Cama cómoda. Habitación (la amarilla situada en una segunda planta) con bonitas vistas sobre el río.
Desventajas: Hay que advertir que la casa, por tener escaleras empinadas y carecer de ascensor, no es conveniente para personas con movilidad reducida.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas, modernas y cómodas. La cama era bastante grande y muy cómoda. El baño muy amplio y con ducha de hidromasaje. El desayuno bastante completo y variado.
Desventajas: La habitación era algo ruidosa, se escucha todo el tráfico de la calle. La habitación se veía limpia aunque si que deberían tener en cuenta la ventana del techo, se veía bastante sucia y también el polvo de detrás de la televisión y algún que otro recoveco.

I recommend this hotel.

Desventajas: al hacer la reserva por booking.com, la página web indicaba que el precio para la habitación era de dos personas. sin embargo al realizar el check-in, me dijeron en recepción que solo había reservado para una persona, por lo que tuve que pagar 42 euros adicionales. muy decepcionado con esto. todo el viaje genial, excepto esto. en la página web booking.com destacan la oferta tal y como a ellos les interesa y cuando llegas al hotel te encuentras con este tipo de problemas y costes adicionales que no esperaba. una lástima, porque volvería a repetir encantado.

Desventajas: Extremely disappointed with the classic room without a view. Since the hotel was not full and we were staying 3 nights we thought they would upgrade us to a better room. We did pay for an upgrade and it made alll the difference in making our stay positive! The men at the reception desk were very good.

Desventajas: Lo más incómodo es andar desde la habitación hasta la zona de piscina y restaurante, el paseo es muy agradable y tardas unos 10 minutos pero cuando lo recorres varias veces al día resulta algo pesado. Aún así diré que hay un carrito que puedes solicitar pero con tanta gente esperando al final prefieres ir andando.

Ventajas: Location was great. Lovely walks through the marina and beach. No lifts though, so if mobility a problem ask for ground floor. They upgraded for grandparents to have a ground floor which was great. Rooms where clean and house keeping was wonderful everyday.
Desventajas: Beware of movie Channels as they charge $10E per movie even if you just click into it. Grandfather was not aware and got charged for three unwatched movies.

Es un lugar tranquilo, bonito, distante poco tanto. de Faro como de, por poner un ejemplo, Cabo de San Vicente. Su personal (todo su personal) son capaces con su profesionalidad de hacer entrañable la estancia. Y sus instalaciones son elegantemente sencillas. Muchas gracias a Tivoli Marina Portimão por haber hecho de lo esperado una realidad.

Ventajas: The view from our balcony was great, the size of the room exceeded our expectations, the facilities were very modern, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very complete and varied (our favourite things were the omelette station and the nespresso machine!). We were on our honeymoon and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine and some strawberries with chocolate, which was a lovely gesture.

Ventajas: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. There are pleasant terraces to sit and read and drink wine in the evenings! It’s only a few minutes walk to some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, and there are plenty of local restaurants. Also the tourist hop-on hop-off bus stops close by which is a very useful way to get about the area - this is how I discovered Alvor, which is really worth a visit. It’s a charming, quiet place, perfect for total relaxation.

Ventajas: Me encantó todo en general pero nos costó mucho encontrarlo pues aunque estábamos al lado no está bien anunciado .le falta un buen letrero iluminado y no parecía la entrada del hotel.Nos guiaron unos huéspedes que salían y les pasó lo mismo. Por otro lado la playa está muy cerca y no hay escaleras para llegar ,está llana.No olvidemos que es el Algarve...una gran ventaja.

Desventajas: me toco una habitación en la parte antigua del hotel, la habitación en si estaba bien y muy limpia, los muebles antiguos pero a mi me gustan con unos cabezales de cama muy bonitos, trabajados de madera. el lavabo con bañera pero el agua era muy dificil de graduar o te quemabas o salia muy fria, la situación muy cerca de la playa y de un paseo con mucho ambiente pero en el hotel tranquilidad total, si volvería a este hotel. la parte nueva esta toda reformada y supongo que no tienen este problema.

Bread and pastries were not edible for me. The mattress of the bed is cheap and hard. Like I said this is hotel is not worth 4 star, more like 3 star in accordance with the European standard.

Ventajas: Hotel by the sea front, with a wonderful balcony. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also great. 65" LCD TV was a good surprise. Champagne in the room because it was part of the honeymoon stay. The restaurant was good not so much because of the quantity but more because of the quality.
Desventajas: The swimming pool was not so big but who really cares when you have a marvelous beach with clean waters in front of you.

Desventajas: al hacer la reserva por booking.com, la página web indicaba que el precio para la habitación era de dos personas. sin embargo al realizar el check-in, me dijeron en recepción que solo había reservado para una persona, por lo que tuve que pagar 42 euros adicionales. muy decepcionado con esto. todo el viaje genial, excepto esto. en la página web booking.com destacan la oferta tal y como a ellos les interesa y cuando llegas al hotel te encuentras con este tipo de problemas y costes adicionales que no esperaba. una lástima, porque volvería a repetir encantado.

Desventajas: This is really a genuinely Great Choice Hotel in Portimao. There was no faulting in the stay at all. The rooms are spacious. The grand beds are totally luxurious . The Room maids are so happy and lovely. The reception staff couldn't be more polite and helpful ,they are true professionals. The Bar and waiting staff are very attentive and again know their jobs oh so well. The frozen Margaritas are great . Now the Chef's in the kitchen are brilliant with the large choice of such superb quality goods. It couldn't of been any better and far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed half board and it turned out to be great value for money. Finally may I commend the Management because it was my true experience getting to know the staff that they are very committed to the highest level of service with a smile on their face at all times. And this is a true reflection of a Happy and we'll balanced Management who care for their staff. And the staff really were genuine and a true reflection of the Portuguese people. Don't just trust my word , go and endulge in the delights that this fine hotel resort is and enjoy the moment . Thanks to all the Top Notch Staff who really make this Hotel stand out amongst the others.

Ventajas: The view from our balcony was great, the size of the room exceeded our expectations, the facilities were very modern, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very complete and varied (our favourite things were the omelette station and the nespresso machine!). We were on our honeymoon and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine and some strawberries with chocolate, which was a lovely gesture.

The hotel gym was under renovation and not available tog guests, and there was no arrangement with another hotel to use their gym. Ventajas: The hotel is old and tired and really needs a long overdue refurbishment. But the apartment was very spacious with large balconies offering two views...although they both overlooked scrub land and a lot of building cranes. We could see the sea in the distance. The staff however were excellent, friendly and very helpful.
Desventajas: The accommodation is very basic with a need for refurbishment. Furniture has been painted over and over and looked worn, tired and has really had its day. The change of towels were only given once every 3 days and the bed was only made up when the cleaner felt like it. But that was ok with us. My biggest issue was finding a socket that wasn't broken to charge up my phone and computer.

Ventajas: The hotel matched my standards, the lobby area was clean as was the bar. The pool was big enough and would be safe for people who can’t really swim. Apartments are very spacious with toiletries and a good view of the sea. The housekeepers were very friendly and helpful Would definitely return here again if staying in Portugal
Desventajas: The reception staff seemed to be a little biased toward the guest that were staying there for the festival which made it a bit uncomfortable at the beginning of our stay The prices for the deposit kept changing depending on who you talked to at reception which I found quite odd. I know the are under pressure however a little courtesy goes a long way

Ventajas: The free car park.
Desventajas: The hotel building in very old and badly taken care of. The staff is unefficient by European standards and like pretty much everything in Portugal it is rather slow.

Ventajas: very spacious, plus kitchenware and micro and nice big balcony :) fridge

Ventajas: The hotel provides the space for a pleasant time in Portimão. The room was perfectly clean and it was rather spacious.
Desventajas: The location is not perfect and requires to use the hotel courtesy bus to go to the beach or to the town centre, unless you have your own transport.

Desventajas: No tenia calefacción, las ventanas eran viejas y entraba frio. Había un fuerte olor a comida según se entraba a la habitación
