Ventajas: One from the best hostels that I were. A lot of space, great rooms, spacious bathroom. Great staff.

Ventajas: The hostel is ideally located, near the fish market and promenade. It's got spacious rooms and a large shower and toilets. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, there's a small breakfast each morning. I like this hostel, it's also has a Cafe which is open to the public.

Desventajas: I did not like the noise of the music at night, the hard bed, the unhealthy breakfast and dinner. Overall quality would not be a 4 star in my opinion. But probably great for kids because of the waterpark.

Ventajas: Everything was good! Additionally, I would like to say that one day I needed to go outside the hotel early and I asked to provide me the breakfast before the specific time for breakfast. I didn't had to bargain or beg for it. In the morning 6AM a worm breakfast was waiting for me with juice, an apple and some sweets. The staff so nice and competent. Best for 4 stars hotel. Recommend.

Ventajas: The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was quite good, with lots of variety. It's a modern, well designed hotel with several interesting features, such as a gaming room in the ground floor and very relaxing balconies in every bedroom. The location is ideal, right next to its excellent waterpark and a short drive away from the beach.

Desventajas: The water pressure in the shower was a bit poor. The beds, while perfectly decent, could be a little more confortable. At around 9 pm, service at the indoor bar was really slow.

Desventajas: Due to the large number of English visitors I would have liked a better quality of breakfast food. E.G. English bacon and sausages, fried mushrooms and larger cups for breakfast tea. A very limited and poor choice, for the English taste, of Lunch and Buffet limited courses E.G. Only one Fish, Meat and Vegetarian course

Ventajas: Stayed here 2 years ago so this was a return visit. The staff member that checked us in is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Very large outdoor balcony. Lovely quiet outdoor pool area. Very relaxing. Things are maybe a little bit dated, but everything works fine and does the job it is meant to do. I would stay here again.

Desventajas: Unfortunately, there are a lot of ants around the pool area which do not bother you but can be a little off-putting when you see them! Absolutely no ants in the rooms at all though – the rooms are spotlessly clean.

Ventajas: 3rd time staying here and continues to impress Miguel could not be more helpful and the apartments and pool area are spotlessly clean

Ventajas: The room was quite good but I did not like my bed! It felt very lumpy and I didn’t sleep well because of this.

Desventajas: The bed, the fact there was no shop to buy basics and no complimentary tea/ coffee in the room.

Ventajas: Clean no frills hotel. Not spectacular, but good enough. Parking on site.

Desventajas: Only stay here if you have a car, nothing interesting nearby, not even food. More like an okay motel than a hotel. The beds are a little saggy. Why you need to climb up stairs (quite slippery when wet, for instance after rain) to the entrance, is a mystery to me. There is a ramp but that doesn't solve the mystery. Breakfast with nice croissants, but terrible coffee and cold hard boiled eggs. Still fairly decent, though choice could be better.

Ventajas: La ciudad es muy limpia con mucho servicios cerca como supermercado , farmacias bares y restaurante .. Es muy importante tener todo cerca por si te hace falta y pode disfrutar de un sitio tan bonito y con un clima muy agradable .

Desventajas: Como conducen los portugueses . Se vas conducir en Portugual el triple de atención .. El desayuno del hotel era muy pobre . Básicamente era pan y café. No había yogures ni tarta o cualquier otra cosa.

Ventajas: Stayed here a few times, about 10-12 years ago. Nice to be back. Always an easy place to find $ park the car. Nice people. Just the job!

Desventajas: they do an excellent continental breakfast, but their attempt at an English type breakfast is not good, fried bacon/eggs & beans are served luke warm at best

Ventajas: La localización del hotel está muy bien para moverte por el algarve. La zona de la piscina era bonita. El aparcamiento fácil a la puerta es muy cómodo. El desayuno sin ser espectacular estaba bien, no hay sitios cercanos para desayunar fuera del hotel sin coger el coche, por lo que es buena opción. El hotel es en general tranquilo. Hay una vía de tren justo detrás, en mi opinión nada insoportable ya que durante el día no solíamos estar y por las noches no pasan trenes.

Desventajas: El personal sin ser desagradable, era poco simpático ( no respondieron nunca a los saludos), si bien no me importa que no sean muy simpáticos les faltaba educación. La habitación no estaba mal con un pequeño balcón, aunque la iluminación era muy deficiente, para leer por las noches era realmente escasa. Las almohadas terribles. El hotel alquila la zona de la piscina para fiestas privadas, cosa que no se nos comunicó en ningún momento, por lo que el único día que decidimos volver a media tarde para estar relajadas en la piscina ( era sábado) nos encontramos todo lleno de gente ajena al hotel. Me incomodó un poco la situación sobretodo la sorpresa, con algún cartel me hubiera bastado para darme por enterada.

Desventajas: Location wasn't great. The hotel is just off around about. Nearest shop is 15 minute walk but there is no footpath so it is pretty dangerous. There is a train line that runs behind so that is very loud.

Ventajas: Easily accessible property with plenty of car parking. Hotel is big and nicely appointed. Room is large and comfortable.

Desventajas: (Stale air smell). They need to open up the doors in the hotel and let some fresh air in.

Desventajas: Nothing, room could have been a bit bigger. The room we stayed in was at the front of the hotel which as it was off a main road meant it was a big noisy at times. But not a problem as we were only there for a couple of days.

Desventajas: El buffet del desayuno, no estaba mal, aunque siempre (todas las mañanas), era lo mismo. El buffet de la cena, dejaba mucho que desear.

Ventajas: Good location for bus, sea, shops and restaurants - all within 5 min easy walking distance. There is a really nice Indian restaurant just around the corner with very friendly staff and good food. Food for breakfast is ok, however I’d found it’s fairly repetitive when there for more than a few days. Bed is very comfortable, plenty of storage space ( there is a socket for charging phone etc hidden behind the bedside table which I’d only discovered accidentally. Nice sun set views from the balcony. Wifi was good in the room area, however none on the balcony . Kitchen staff nice and friendly as well as one person in particular at reception . Having been to this hotel previously, I’d asked on booking for a specific room, however was actually disappointed as the negative points I’d pointed out previously ( 10 months earlier ) hadn’t been corrected. There were also issues regarding when we could get into the room ( even though already in the hotel having stayed in a different room and knew the room had been cleaned.

Desventajas: A/C noisy - so, we switched it fully off on the fuse board as instructed to me previously by staff at reception . Having stayed here previously, it felt disappointing to find the shower being still rather variable in temperature and flow as well as the bath having still the same chip where it was 10 months earlier. We’d found the room wasn’t particularly thorough cleaned, as this hotel is rather near the beach, there bound to be some sand left on shoes ( even after wiping the feet before entering the room), we’d found for 4 days there was sand in the room ( my husband had used a old pair of his socks to wipe it into a corner area by the door, as it was over most of the room, however even when the room was having it’s official cleaning day ( every 3 days) it was still there afterwards. Between that and one of the reception staff voicing some insulting comments - sadly I’d have to think now 2x if I’d be staying there again and that after having been a returning customer, which I felt on leaving hadn’t been valued . This had been the first time of being at the hotel and checking out the area where the pool/ gym etc is. I’ve got to say, it’s been rather disappointing. Rather close to the pool area people are allowed to smoke ( same as I’d noticed those, who have a balcony appear to use it to smoke), despite it saying the hotel is nonsmoking throughout, which certainly isn’t true esp as the smoke smell can be drawn into the room, depending on the location of the room and who else is close by. It would be much more pleasant if the hotel would really be fully non smoking throughout as mentioned . The toilet ( female) adjacent to where the gym is, doesn’t have a lock and the men’s area where the shower is has got a light , which only stays on for a few seconds - after that someone be in the dark, which could be a health hazard. The gym equipment looks like it could be with an upgrade and is if poor quality as well as there not being much there.

Ventajas: Great location and lovely staff.

Ventajas: Breakfast was of continental style, Brwead, Ham, Cheese, tea, coffee, assorted cold juices, not a lot of choice but ample with many bars and restaurants very closeby. The beach is 50 meters from the front door and there is about 2 miles of it. Very cheap for taxi to Vilamoura Harbour and golf courses.

Desventajas: My room altghough very clean and tidy and was made up every day with fresh towels I had no view whatsoever completely cut off in the corner iof the hotel.

Ventajas: La ubicación estupenda, la amabilidad de su anfitrión Jorge.

Desventajas: Habitación muy pequeña con un pequeño armario, sin espacio para moverse ni guardar equipaje, cama doble muy pequeña para dos, sin enchufe en el baño, sin nevera, el WiFi fallaba, ninguna comodidad. Un precio abusivo, 90€ por noche.

Desventajas: Cuando llegamos, los dueños no estaban, tuvimos que volver media hora más tarde. Es una pensión anticuada, las habitaciones son ruidosas. El desayuno es minimalista, con productos de baja calidad.

Desventajas: Furnishings basic. Old building no carpets in apartment so sounds echoing between apartments. Wanted to be high up to get view but was given a ground floor apartment. Bonus of this was able to climb down from balcony to pool!

Ventajas: La situación. Fácil aparcamiento. Muy tranquilo y muy buena playa.

Desventajas: La antena parabólica de la terraza estorba mucho y afea la vista al mar . El agua de la ducha de vez en cuando pierde presión. La decoración es muy antigua.

Ventajas: Great location just next to beach and has its own swimming pool. The apartment is spacious and has a well-equipped kitchen which is good for our family trip.

Desventajas: The apartment does not supply any shampoo/shower gel and luckily we have prepare our own. It would be better to rent a car for your stay. The apartment is not close to the town center and the local public transportation is not frequent in Faro.

Desventajas: Having stayed in similar apartments in the past we had expected two bathrooms but in the one we stayed in there was only one. The apartment was kept clean,but that did not make up for the front door looking as if it had been attacked with a battering ram, the door jam on one bedroom door was broken which precluded the closing of the door and silvering on the bathroom mirror had deteriorated. These complaints did not stop us enjoying our holiday, but they certainly did not help it.

Ventajas: The location was excellent

Desventajas: No doors locked or had latches that worked which I thought was terrible as I had my mother in law staying in the other bedroom

Ventajas: The location is perfect, we had a beautiful view on the ocean and the boulevard. The apartment is very close to the beach. Lots of restaurants around. The kitchen has all basic equipment you need. Supermarket about 3 km away. Good wifi. Apartment was clean

Desventajas: The apartment is bit noisy, you can hear the neighbours walk and talk. We were very happy with our apartment with seaview, but be aware you can also get the apartments with less views. In case of emercency it is not easy to get hold of the staff, which was very frustrating

Ventajas: Nos dieron un apartamento en el edificio Oceanides, con unas vistas excelentes. Muy espacioso, limpio, y mobiliario en buen estado. Menaje de cocina completo y en buenas condiciones. La chica que nos atendió muy amable, tienen la oficina en el mismo edificio de apartamentos Carteia por lo que no tuvimos que realizar espera para el check-in.

Desventajas: Las almohadas no eran muy confortables. No había cafetera italiana, aunque tenían un hervidor de agua. La lámpara del salón comedor cuelga muy baja, sería recomendable la sustituyeran por otro tipo de luminaria de superficie. No disponen de aire acondicionado, ni calefacción para esas estancias fuera de temporada veraniega.

Ventajas: The receptionist was very helpful and friendly

Desventajas: More comfortable pillows needed no shop facilities except for water. Would be a good idea if a shop was available for things like milk bread ice cream and drinks for children

Ventajas: From the pictures of the property it looked a little old and tired but they must’ve had a refurb, we had three apartments and each one had really clean toilets(looked new), I always check for bed bugs and the mattresses and sheets were very clean. It was very spacious and the pool was well maintained considering we went off season. We arrived after reception closed but they were very accommodating in terms of getting the keys and checking in the next day. Location was very close to the beach, so lots of food places around. The area was very quiet which my family appreciates, fish market, fruit market and super market were all in walking distant too. Receptionist was very friendly. Kitchen came equipped. Tv was a nice size and flat screen unlike the pictures showing and also has good channels to watch that were English speaking too.

Desventajas: Being really picky now, personally I like white sheets on the beds, two apartments had all white sheets, the last one had white sheets underneath but a old looking topper which did make the whole room look a bit older. Also the pillows were of all different textures, some really hard/soft, some flat, some were lumpy. It would’ve been nice to have toiletries like body shower gel. Also the kitchen came fully equipped but no washing up liquid, we were only there for a few days and didn’t really want to buy a bottle of washing up liquid for the dishes but had to.

Ventajas: Location was excellent five minutes to the beach. Reception were friendly and helpful. Pool was great the sun is over the pool all day

Ventajas: The staff were very helpful. We were able you stay in our apartment until 2pm on the day we left. The kids loved the pool. Spacious apartment, not far from the beautiful beach and lots of lovely restaurants/cafes.

Ventajas: Liked the layout of the apartment 27 and the fact it was set in the back overlooking the pool. Great terrace, accessible from the living room and the kitchen. 2 english-spoken TV movie channels. Excellent kitchen setup. Loved the cooker.

Ventajas: I've stayed at property maybe 5 - 6 times now. Never had a problem Central to Quarteira. Close to bus station. The price is right.

Desventajas: Feather pillows.

Ventajas: Buen trato del personal, buen aparcamiento, buen aspecto exterior del edificio y jardines. Lo mejor, la piscina y la tranquilidad en general. Buena localización del recinto cerca de la feria, la playa y comercios. Aire acondicionado, tendedero exterior.

Desventajas: Aspecto general de los años 80/90, anticuado. Las almohadas muy blandas y anticuadas. Electrodomésticos y menaje anticuado. El frigorífico enfría lo justo debido a sus años y su desgaste. El desagüe de la bañera estaba casi atascado, el contorno del marco interior de la puerta del baño estaba amarillento y sucio, el espejo del baño está muy bajo. En la mesita de noche había una lámpara 'no operativa' porque no había enchufe cercano para conectarla.

Desventajas: The bathroom was too small and awkward. Noisy drunken guests. Pillows uncomfortable on bed. Not suitable for people with walking disabilities as access to toilets from bar and restaurant impossible

Ventajas: Yes very nice

Desventajas: Puerta armario rota, no pudimos abrirla . Baños comunes inundados. Escasa variedad en postres. Incluso nos quedamos la última cena sin probarlos. Pedimos cama Supletoria ya que llevábamos un niño y nos la pusieron pero en una habitación muy pequeña, que no podíamos ni movernos y almohada mala e incomoda. Otras veces nos han dado habitaciones mayores cuando sólo hemos ido 2 personas.

Desventajas: La suciedad de la habitacion, la cama mucho ruido. La comida muy repetitiva y poca variedad

Ventajas: Diana the receptionist was very helpful and had a charming manner.

Desventajas: Nothing to dislike

Desventajas: Very old. In serious need of painting and renovation

Desventajas: Una muchacha que había de camarera, mal trato a los clientes.
