Hotel facilities were great and the staff was very friendly

A little difficult to find.

The room was very comfortable. The location is perfect for taking the flight from Trapani Birgi airport, around 10 minutes drive.

It is however quite far both from Trapani and Marsala, probably impossible to get there without having own car.

The character of the building was such that you felt privilaged to be able to wander from room to room taking in the atmosphere of life in an Italian country house in the middle of a vinyard. The wine tasting was designed to make you feel special. The views, staff, food and wine were as near perfect as they could be. There was never even a hint of something being improved upon.

The whole experience could be bottled and sold as the 'perfect' relaxing break. However, whilst some staff went that extra mile and were passionate some 'smaller' people probably resented going from late to early shift, and were less that at their best. The food and wine was excellent but probably didn't need to be so expensive. The choice of food was limited if you stayed more than a few days. With a little effort this could be paradise.

Bit difficult to find.

The Western part of Sicily is beautiful. So the location of the hotel is anyway right. But located on a hill, this well reconstructed old winefarm and winery is à perfect place to stay for a week or more. The hospitality makes that you on every end of the day feel like driving home. And you can visit a lot of beautiful places on a distance between 40 and 100 km!
