Nice hotel, friendly staff. Car parking available, but you need a reservation because the number of parking spaces is very limited. Good restaurant.
No hot water because of technical malfunction, but I assume this was an exception. The floor was not very clean, I recommend the investment in a good vacuum cleaner.

Probably the best independent hotel of its class that I have used in Italy in recent years.
The only thing that might put you off is that the access road is a bit daunting being fairly narrow, between high stone buildings, no pavements, and probably best done in daylight, at least the first time.

El restaurante en la terraza, muy romántico
Es un edificio antiguo reformado, pero sólo a medias. Las contraventanas no cierran, se ve mucho desastre. La zona de acceso , en pleno casco antiguo, no llegan los coches, y no es muy segura.

Located in the old town of Taranto, the surrounding area looked rundown, but it was quite interesting and not dangerous at all. The hotel itself was good with clean room, English-speaking staff, and big top-floor terrace with great view.
They have a secure indoor parking, but the space and the street leading to the hotel are rather narrow and not really recommended for big cars.
