The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and spent the time to take us through a map of the island and point out some of the best beaches and other points of interest. The room was a decent value.

Our room had tiny ants, which of course we realize may be due to a prior guest leaving food out and not the fault of the property. Also, the mattress was not especially supportive and comfortable. Just a heads up: there are stray dogs running around the island. Unfortunately, in the neighborhood near the hotel is an aggressive dog that we nicknamed Grumpy. Not the best experience, but we fended Grumpy off with sticks and rocks. We survived...was funny after the fact, but if you’re afraid of dogs, may be less fun. A little further away from the hotel, we were chased by about one dozen chihuahua sized dogs, which was pretty entertaining lol.
