Ventajas: First class B&B - Mike and Sue very friendly and great hosts, nothing too much trouble. ground floor bedroom huge, warm and comfortable. Fruit and coffee & tea making facilities in room and fresh milk in fridge in dining room. Ideal setting for visiting Bletchley Park only 10-15 minutes away.

Ventajas: Very clean, nice area comfortable bed, good breakfast. Friendly hosts.

Desventajas: Bathroom was a bit cold.

Ventajas: Sue and Mike were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with extra touches to make it even more so...big bath towels, full size toiletries with lovely fragrances, big mugs for the in- room tea and coffee..and a generous breakfast.

Ventajas: Excellent B&B run on a very high standards. Really quiet location, with comfy beds and lovely breakfasts. Highly recommend to everyone.

Ventajas: From our arrival to departure everything was perfect (during both stays) and we couldn't have asked for more. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and we'd rate their facilities 11 out of 10.

Desventajas: It couldn't have been better - it was absolutely excellent, in fact, the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Thank you so much to our hosts for going out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable.

Ventajas: The breakfast was brilliant! The hosts are lovely people. The location is fabulous...the room was spacious and bed comfortable...

Desventajas: Would have liked a bit more cupboard or hanging and shelf space. Not important though...we did have more luggage than most I think!

Ventajas: Very friendly and comfortable stay in a nice old farmhouse. Facilities were good and a tasty breakfast with nice fresh eggs.

Ventajas: Delicious breakfast. Lovely room. Extremely clean. Lovely little touches such as the biscuits and chocolates! Also the use of a fridge was very useful. Lovely hosts who were very helpful and got up early to make our breakfast so that we could leave in time to get to Silverstone. They gave us good directions across country to get to the race track easily. Great pub next door with good food. We will be back.

Ventajas: What an oasis from all the typical hotels that I end up staying in while on business. Excellent facilities and simply the warmest and ‘nothing is too much’ attitude from Julia and Colin. I simply couldn’t rate it high enough, truly home from home.

Desventajas: That I wasn’t able to stay longer!

Ventajas: Old farmhouse full of character and very nicely decorated, you are really in somebody's home. Very friendly reception, and an excellent breakfast is cooked for you. No restaurant, but a nice pub with first class food nearby.

Desventajas: the weather, but then, who comes to th UK for the weather?

Ventajas: Breakfast: Excellent and quantity adequate, tasteful dining room full of interesting furniture, etc. Staff serving us were kind and cheerful and informative re tourist sites nearby. Showers in rooms magnificent!

Desventajas: All ok really: just two small points: was a bit cold in the rooms until the second day when the radiators came on. Before that we did have fan heaters, but not really adequate unless you sat 'on top' of them. The basin taps in my (R Hamlin) room were a bit stiff to operate.

Ventajas: Lovely quaint place, a little cold, appreciated hard to warm a house of this age, supplied a fan heater so nice and snug, cold in the breakfast room which was a great shame.

Desventajas: Provide a little more heating in the dining area.

Ventajas: Location is ideal, not too far from Milton Keynes but in the countryside. Nice and quiet. The owner is a delight and couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly.

Desventajas: Can't think of much, it was a tad chilly overnight but it's an old farmhouse in winter so it's to be expected. I just used the extra blanket provided.

Ventajas: It was in a beautiful setting,lovely quality bedding and very clean. We felt very welcome and the breakfast was great. I would recommend it.

Ventajas: The location was closer to the village than expected. The staff were very smartly dressed, very helpful, friendly & efficient. It was good to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room. The food was good. The room was very clean. Large car park made access very easy.

Desventajas: We could hear the neighbours talking, opening blinds etc was a bit disconcerting

Ventajas: Great stay at the hotel! Everything was nice and clean, breakfast was lovely and it was great value for money. Lovely view overlooking the stadium, and well as shops, supermarket, cinema and restaurants in walking distance! Free parking is a bonus too! Would stay again!

Ventajas: Very friendly staff, greeted by lovely warm room on a cold evening. Nice breakfast, well managed on an extremely busy morning.

Desventajas: Was disappointed that did not know i advance that restaurant was closed and only food on offer was pizza.

Ventajas: Everything excellent stay

Ventajas: The staff were extremely helpful and made us so welcome - particularly Claude on Reception. The hotel was lovely.

Desventajas: Drinks prices at the bar were very expensive.

Ventajas: Comfy beds and quiet at night. The breakfast was much better than I expected too. It was great for a one night stay and walking distance to Willen Lake and close to Junction 14 on the M1 too.

Desventajas: It took me a while to figure out which way to turn the tap in the shower as the hot/cold markers had worn off a bit.

Ventajas: La chica que trabaja en los desayunos, me reconoció, es la segunda vez que me hospedo allí, recordó lo que me gusta comer, el lugar donde me senté y lo conversado. Fue increíble!! Ese detalle me encanto, hace que me sienta diferente, como en casa o familia. Para mí estos detalles son la gran diferencia. En realidad la cama, limpieza, comida o comodidad es importante, pero es igual en todos los hoteles de la misma categoría, pero el detalle de ella hace que este hotel sea diferente que los otros.... Un lugar más especial!! Lo increíble y mágico de tener un buen trabajador...

Ventajas: que lo tengo cerca de sitio de trabajo y por eso escogi este hotel pero decepcionado total

Desventajas: tenia fugas de agua por debajo del inodoro y asi estuvo los cuatro dias

Ventajas: I like that Lavinia was very kind and wellcoming. We ate one dinner together and talked. I turned out we have more than one lagnuage in common ;).

Desventajas: There could be more things to eat for breakfast :P (I have a diet, so I am a bit limited, but we could have negotiated to have some other food (prepared) instead...)

Ventajas: Location, clean of the house

Desventajas: I came for MK Winter Half Marathon. The location was only 15 min. walk from start so it was perfect for me. Room in new, modern house, extremely clean and very, very nice. Quiet, cul-de-sac location, excellent communication with owner, Bathroom with bath and shower, Sky TV in room with Eurosport. What could I ask more?

Desventajas: Bedroom could have had a more comfortable chair to relax in. I would have liked the bed to be made up every day also clean towels to be provided daily.

Ventajas: Lavinia is very organized, even though this is a private house she knows what is needed when you travel. Clean, neat, comfortable.

Desventajas: Such a short stay, can't really say anything. The price is not particularly cheap for a single night, sharing bathroom, but you have kitchen use for breakfast, and food provided.

Ventajas: Nice and quiet location yet easy to reach various business destination. Warm welcome and personal service.

Ventajas: Friendly welcome, and a cosy atmosphere. Great location in the country but only 10 minutes from my work in MK. I'd love to come back when evenings are a but lighter. Good breakfast served in a relaxed setting. Service and facilities could show some of the fancy chain hotels a thing or two. Overall a refreshing overnight and a great antidote to two days on a business Park.

Desventajas: My room was comfortable and pleasant, with everything I needed. Some of the decor could have done with a refresh, and the sound proofing could be improved, but these were minor issues.

Ventajas: A nice welcome from the lady running the B&B, very accommodating with my late arrival time. The room was warm and cosy.

Desventajas: I think the price is too high given the remote location Would also have expected some good quality shampoo / conditioner in the bathroom at this price point

Ventajas: Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful at the reception - willing to go out of their way to offer help; toilet/bathroom are very clean - hot shower available in the morning; and the price was reasonable. Overall very pleasant stay for one night.

Desventajas: The bell (in the nearby church?) wouldn’t stop ringing every 15mins until about 9pm at night...

Ventajas: Very quiet and clean place next to a beautiful church.

Desventajas: There aren't any shelves in the shower rooms to keep your soap/shampoo or spectacles etc which is very inconvenient.

Ventajas: Sin duda la atención prestada por Francis, que estaba en la recepción cuando llegamos y nos facilitó todo cuanto necesitábamos con mucha amabilidad y diligencia.

Desventajas: Esta un poco difícil de encontrar y llegar hasta él, al menos viniendo desde el norte, quizás debido a varias obras que había en carreteras locales que llevan hasta la zona donde se encuentra.

Ventajas: Very clean comfortable place to stay in nice settings

Ventajas: Beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed. Exceptionally clean. Great supply of tea, coffee & hot chocolate. Lovely bathroom and pleasant owner.

Desventajas: Very noisy road so was difficult to sleep. Quite a strong smell of paint from decorating so had to have windows open. Not overly practical for female guests as plugs too far from mirrors for use of hair appliances but this is a minor moan as overall a nice room.

Ventajas: Very cozy and welcoming

Desventajas: Bathroom door handles in 1 of the 3 rooms difficult and stiff

Ventajas: This property was excellent, just on the edge of Stoney Stratford, the room was modern, spacious, well fitted out and clean Tea and coffee making but no breakfast on site, we were given a voucher so drove and walked the short distance to the Old George for breakfast. Will definitely stay there again if in the area. Recommend it highly.

Desventajas: Our room was above the bar and singing until 1.30amthen lots of loud discussions until 3.30am was totally unacceptable.more consideration to other residents a must. A very windy night and the outside Swan sign squeezed constantly

Ventajas: Aunque era algo pequeño, el personal muy amable y el desayuno, aunque a 10 minutos del hotel, era genial!!

Desventajas: El baño no tenía calefacción y hacía frío, y no sé por qué, pero no hicieron la habitación en los 3 días que estuvimos, aunque si que pedimos cambio de toallas y nos dieron sin problemas.

Ventajas: The location is perfect for Bletchley Park and it's near to The Alan Turin Computer Science museum. Where the enigma was used to break the second world war codes. #codebreakers

Desventajas: There was water on the inside on the window sills. It was raining so obviously there was a leak as water was coming in.

Ventajas: The location next to the canal was nice, although my room overlooked the car park. It was good to have a fridge. Staff were friendly.

Desventajas: I understand that’s it’s for health reasons, but the pillows were a little too ‘crunchy’ for my liking. The windows were not soundproof, so it was quite noisy when people were leaving the bar/restaurant.

Desventajas: A bit noisy in the night, the windows don't have very good sound insulation. I was given cartons of milk that had gone off. And they couldn't provide any replacement. TV remote didn't work.

Ventajas: great breakfast

Desventajas: No parking, wardens were out in force at 6.55 ticketing all cars outside your hotel on a sunday morning. I was up at that time but I assume people who stay and have been out the night before will not be up at that time to move their cars or purchase another ticket. Easy target for the parking idiots.

Ventajas: El desayuno era muy completo, tenía una gran variedad de comida. El personal muy atento y agradable con el cliente, nos ayudaron en todo momento.

Desventajas: La cama no era muy confortable y el baño era para minusválidos por lo que había ciertas características que no era confortables para nosotros.

Desventajas: I called the hotel to ask for an earlier check in but nothing was available so I accepted this... I get to the hotel to check in an hour after my check in time 16:00 and the room still wasn’t ready! The lady on the desk assures me they will get it done! I was out for the rest of the evening and when I came back at 23:30 the room still had not been done. My son was asleep and I couldn’t put him to bed. I call for assistance to set up the bed and we was left with a bed with no sheet and offered a quilt with no cover on!! For paying what we paid for one night the service was shocking! I was aware of the limited staff on this particular night but no one who has paid for a hotel room should be lacking in lining and basic service!!! Outrageous!! I travel back to Milton Keynes a lot but I will never stay here again!!!

Ventajas: Lovely country house, as you entered it smelt amazing, a beautiful fire burning and a smiling receptionist. Every member of staff we encountered wished my husband a happy birthday.Our suite was in an outbuilding just across the driveway it was warm,spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely coffee machine , roll top bath with shower attachments in one bathroom, stand in shower in the other. Plenty of seating in the lounge and best of all bright lighting throughout the suite. Oh and an extremely comfy bed. Dinner was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our waitresses service and pleasant chat.

Desventajas: Just a couple of little things, although breakfast was plentiful and varied it was not very hot and the layout of butter and condiments was a bit haphazard. Our shower mat when unrolled had mould on it. Reception assured me it would be disposed of.

Ventajas: Beautiful boutique hotel. Clean and warm and everything we wanted. Staff service was excellent nothing too much trouble.

Ventajas: Nice welcoming atmosphere and easy book-in. Nicely appointed bedrooms with very comfortable beds and well appointed bathroom and toiletries . [ Dressing gown and slippers -a nice touch.] Spoilt for choices for breakfast. Extra- nice egg omelette. Attentive staff in restaurant. Cheerful Christmas atmosphere with lovely decorations. A log fire and talented pianist in the lounge . Manager and all staff all went out of their way to welcome guests and were very helpful . A very pleasant countryside hotel yet in easy reach of Milton Keynes shopping complex

Desventajas: Small problem with TV quickly remedied by exchange for a newer model.

Ventajas: Lovely building and in a great location.

Desventajas: WiFi was a bit hot and miss in the room and some furniture could do with a tiny bit of TLC but really just finishing touches could be more refined. For the money it was exceptional value though!!

Ventajas: Hotel buena ubicación y exteriores.

Desventajas: Pésimo personal recepción. Hotel que prima los eventos (bodas) antes que a los huéspedes. 4 eventos en los dias que me aloje en el hotel. Un dia eran las 21h y la habitación no estaba limpia la habitación. Al realizar check out se realizaron cargos no autorizados (descontrol importante)Personal de recepción nefastos y poco profesionales . La reserva en su totalidad fue preparada días anteriores por cierto con algún error a favor del hotel.

Desventajas: It just takes ages at the reception to check in or check out. Very annoying!

Desventajas: The room was quite compact for a twin room, but it was described as small. The toilet and cistern were quite wobbly. Unfortunately, I didn't check beforehand on what time breakfast was served on a Sunday, which was at 8:00 am. As we were going to Silverstone which has large queues from 8:00 am it wasn't convenient to stay for breakfast. This was the case for all the other guests staying who were staying who also going to Silverstone and also missed having their breakfast. It was disappointing that the landlord didn't offer to move breakfast to an earlier time to suit all the guests and would possibly have generated more business in the future.

Desventajas: Friendly, good food,

Ventajas: Food was very good - in the evening and at breakfast. Proprietor and staff was very helpful and friendly. the pub had a good atmosphere and served very good real ale. Highly recommended and very good value.

Desventajas: Nothing to complain about really at this price point!
