Ventajas: La tranquilidad del lugar, amabilidad de Luis y Nadia, la comodidad en todos los sentidos, la limpieza, el sonido del mar mientras duermes.

Desventajas: Me hubiese gustado una habitación con terracita pero al pedirlo con baño era abuardillado aunque cierto es que daba al mar... en general me agradó bastante todo.

Ventajas: Excellent location for the surf and walks on the beach away from the centre of town. The owner run hostel was very relaxing and friendly with everything you needed such as the kitchen, bbq areas and a delicious breakfast included in the price. There were also surfboards and bicycles available for hire.

Desventajas: I thought from the advertisement that there was a bath in my double room with private bathroom and the water wasn’t very hot. The photos showed a room with a view, and my attic room only had a small window in the roof.

Ventajas: Se implicaron en resolver nuestros problemas. Incluimos un viajero adicional a última hora y nos consiguieron una tercera cama tan cómoda como las originales, incluso cambiando la configuración de la habitación. Muy buena ubicación y atención perfecta.

Ventajas: The host of the place made us feel really welcome and was a genuine friendly man! The place is by the beach so if you want some peace and quiet with nice views it’s perfect. Shared bathroom was clean and not crowded at all. Breakfast simple but fresh and filling! Loved our stay we will be back!! You can take a walk to supertubos, probably a bit far to walk to town centre but you can take a taxi or drive.

Ventajas: Very good location, right in front of Supertubos. Nice kitchens and living rooms. Breakfast and showers were nice too.

Desventajas: I’d suggest two changes: 1) In the kitchens, there was only one trash bin. Invariably, most people would deposit everything in them, recyclables or not. I think there should be 3 or 4, for plastics, paper, glass, etc. Same for the breakfast area. In fact, there were bins for recyclables outside in the patio area, but people are lazy and only few would use them. These bins need to be at hand, and inside. Just my two cents on a very important problem were facing worldwide. 2) Our Mattresses was not comfortable at all. It felt old and worn out.

Ventajas: The accommodation and the host were amazing! Thank you for everything!!! :) Nice view. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Close to the beach. Lovely breakfast!

Ventajas: Comfy bed, very nice faucets in the bathroom added a feel that you are at home and not in the hotel. Excellent breakfast downstairs hosted by very attentive receptionist.

Desventajas: Las almohadas de la cama. Eran muy altas y duras para nuestro gusto. La ubicacion de la TV, que no se podia orientar. El precio quiza un poco alto.

Desventajas: Que nuestra habitación tenía balcón pero era un ático y no se veía nada, solo dé puntillas. Vamos que el balcón es para los fumadores, no tiene otro uso y pagar más por eso que no somos fumadores..... pagamos algo más por el balcón para tener vistas.... pero para ver algo había que ponerse de puntillas

Ventajas: We good it last minute on a good deal. Good location, clean facility. Breakfast was decent, despite some reviews otherwise. The staff (Raul) was very very helpful with suggestions of what to do and see around town, and also assisting with booking a trip to Berlengas!

Desventajas: Room/Bathroom was a bit small, but then again the rate reflects that. Pillows could be better/more firm.

Ventajas: Claire and Duncan created something beautiful with this lodge. The lodge itself is spotless and has everything you need. Up for some surfing? Duncan has equipment for all levels of surfing and will help you out with anything. Overall the vibe was great and if you want a awesome surf holiday this is the place to be!

Ventajas: Claire and Duncan where spectacular hosts. They take you to the best surf spots every day, make a camp, and even provide you gear with very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Ventajas: We had a great time, Claire and Duncan offered to drive us to a surf spot every day and took great care of us. Very highly recommended!

Desventajas: Breakfast is only carbohydrates (cereals, marmalade). I miss some egs or ham and cheese for sandwiches.

Ventajas: El Desayuno era compartido aunque no utilizamos ese servicio. Los restaurantes de la zona, Peniche, estaban muy bien, mucha variedad. El alojamiento es ideal para los amantes del surf, lo tienen todo muy organizado y te dan muchas facilidades para practicar este deporte. Además te relacionas con gente de ese rollo y si eres extrovertido te molará la experiencia.

Desventajas: En principio nada que objetar y ninguna pega. No tuvimos contratiempos.

Ventajas: The location of the accommodation, the condition of the rooms and the included breakfast was very good. I particularly liked the enthusiasm and dedication of the hosts which resulted in a good team spirit of all guests and made my stay unforgettable.

Ventajas: We arrived really late on the first night and there was no problem doing the check in.

Desventajas: First of all, my friend and I had booked a shared room of 4 people but when we arrived we found out it was a room of 6, without any explanation different than "you know, it's busy season and people wanted to stay longer". We didn't say anything because we weren't going to spend that much time in the hostel; our idea was to surf and travel. However, what I had never expected during my holidays was to be scolded by the owner for not going surfing with them. He literally came into our room in the morning and quite in an impolite way told us: "you shouldn't come to a surf lodge if you are not going to surf, there are a lot of people wanting to be lodged here, and if you don't surf with us you are making me lose money". I would think that I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone during my holidays and even less after being given a room worse than what we had booked. By the way, we did do surf everyday, but on our own as we wanted to travel a bit and visit different beaches. Sorry to say that we thought his behaviour very unprofessional and rude. Not a way to treat your clients. P.S: we didn't even have a locker or space to leave our things, it was a really crowded room.

Ventajas: It was a really good place to live there for a week. Host was really helpful with anything you need: surf equipment and lessons, transfers, personal questions. It is not typical hostel. For me it was like friendly place where I can be with my surf mates. All appartment was clean and comfortable with good furniture. Several kitchens and bathrooms. Very close to the ocean.

Desventajas: Presence of microwave may be helpful :)

Ventajas: I had such a great time in Peniche when I arrived, I was very nicely added to the group. After one day I already felt at home, everyone takes care of you and I have already closed all in my heart. The surf lessons were great! I will definitely come back!! :)

Desventajas: Check-in was a little bit unclear. We missed a short briefing about how everything works, surfing and appartement/lodge wise. But at the end nothing to complain!

Ventajas: Empezando por Pedro, que fue súper buen anfitrión. Pudimos hacer el CI antes de tiempo, nos aconsejo muy bien sobre las actividades que podíamos hacer y prepara un riquísimo desayuno. Nada de bolleria industrial, cada día trae croissants y pan recién hechos. El piso era completamente nuevo, las instalaciones muy completas, todo muy limpio y ordenado. Tiene de todo. La cocina muy bien equipada, la habitación amplia y el baño muy cómodo. Sin duda volveremos. PD: Si queréis la mejor escuela de surf, iros con su sobrino Nuno, muy buen profesor, muy buen royo y busca variedad de Spots para surfear. Se nota que le gusta mucho lo que hace. Y encima, las clases particulares! Nada de ser 8 o más por clase. GRACIAS A AMBOS POR HACER QUE LA EXPERIENCIA FUERA TOP!!

Ventajas: We had a lovely stay there. Good location. Its a nice view in 3 minutes walk, supermarkets are very close. Room is clean and comfortable. Apartments are suitable for surf stuff. Thanks!

Ventajas: El anfitrión es muy agradable. Los desayunos son estupendos. Aunque las instalaciones son sencillas , estuvimos muy bien.Las camas muy comodas. El pueblo de Peniche no tiene mucho que ver pero la costa y las playas son inmejorables.

Desventajas: El edificio es muy antiguo aunque el baño está reformado no tiene ventana y las tuberías huelen. Habría que revisarlo.

Ventajas: Pedro es muy bueno y amable! Te prepara el desayuno todas las mañanas de 9 a 10am. Te da toallas limpias cada dos días. El cuarto y baño muy lindos y limpios. Tiene una sala para descansar y la cocina para prepararte lo que quieras. Las sabanas son muy suaves y cómodas al igual que la cama. El agua de la ducha siempre esta caliente.

Desventajas: El wifi no llega a la habitación pero al resto de la propiedad llega perfecto!

Ventajas: Es un apartamento compartido. Hay 4 habitaciones, una cocina grande y una salita de estar. Está todo limpio, ordenado y en buen estado. El encargado nos prepararó el desayuno por la mañana, ¡fue un detalle de 10! Recomendable para ir con amigos o con pareja.

Ventajas: The guest house is located close to the fort and a 15 minute walk to the beach. The host was friendly, explained where everything was etc. The room and bathroom was spotless. A can imagine if it was hot it could be a little uncomfortable. I rode a bike and there was safe and secure parking.

Desventajas: The guest house was good and as advertised. Took a little while to realise where the front door was and how to buzz in but that is more me than the guest house

Desventajas: Our room a little damp.

Ventajas: Alojamiento correcto para unos días en Peniche, ubicado en el centro del pueblo, se puede ir andando, unos 10', a la Praia da Gambôa, y en coche, también unos 10' a la Praia dos Supertubos (Medão Grande), recomendables ambas. Las habitaciones están a la altura de la calle, por lo que resta intimidad, aunque hay que decir igualmente, en que eran muy tranquilas. Como el nombre de la guesthouse lo indica, decoración retro, cocina equipada a disposición (lavadora de pago). Limpieza en general muy buena, y atención por parte del dueño también muy buena. Habiendo, si no me equivoco, tres habitaciones, y un solo baño, no hubo en ningún momento problemas para el uso del mismo.

Desventajas: Hay un patio/terraza interior, que hace las veces de comedor exterior, tendal para la ropa y zona de fumadores, y siendo la planta baja puede que no sea sencillo, pero quizás podía tener la mesa una mayor limpieza.

Ventajas: Esta muy bien para ir a descansar porque es muy tranquilo. La cama muy cómoda, la cocina dispone de todo lo necesario para cocinar, y todo está muy limpio. Muy buena relación calidad precio.

Ventajas: El trato de Nuno.

Ventajas: Nuestra estancia ha sido breve pero Nuno ha sido muy amable, muy atento y la casa estaba muy limpia y hasta el más mínimo detalle. Además tiene una perrita encantadora!!!

Ventajas: I liked that it had strong WiFi, clean rooms, was quiet, plenty of street parking, wait staff was kind and helpful. Offered tea my first day and had banana oat chocolate chip cookies which were dairy free!

Desventajas: I mentioned I was dairy free and I think it would have gone a LONG way to have a dairy free option available given that this is a b&b and that I stayed for 2 nights. But also understanding that it was a slow time and may not be as frequently requested as the USA.

Ventajas: El trato personal y cercano de todos los empleados y el detalle final con nuestra hija de dejarle bizcocho de chocolate (es el que más le gustaba) junto al detalle que nos dejaron en la habitación la última noche. Nos sorprendió GRATAMENTE que el horario de desayuno se alargará hasta las 19h. No había que madrugar para poder desayunar ... UN LUJO. A 5 min reales ...andando a la playa. Sin problemas de aparcamiento.

Ventajas: Lovely place to stay, homely, clean and very chilled vibe. Maria and Miguel were great and we felt relaxed and happy when we left. Would definitley come back. It is slightly out of town but if you don't mind the walk or a cycle ride then you are fine

Ventajas: Everything was really Fine. Maria and Miguel supported us in every situation and all People there were very nice.

Ventajas: La atención por parte de María, Miguel y resto de personal fue perfecta; encantadores y muy, muy amables. La ubicación puede parecer "lejana" a playas y centro del pueblo pero ganas en tranquilidad y las vistas a Baleal y Peniche son muy bonitas. Ya tenemos programada la siguiente visita!!

Desventajas: Los colchones de las camas individuales eran muy duros; no obstante no fue obstáculo para que descansáramos y con la amabilidad de Maria y Miguel se minimizara el asunto.

Ventajas: El trato de los dueños fue muy bueno y estaba todo muy limpio, las instalaciones maravillosas .

Desventajas: El cuidado de las bicicletas, creo que aunque la gente no haga un uso muy adecuado, deberían tener un mantenimiento. No puedes ofertar bicis oxidadas y pinchadas. En el desayuno me gustaría haber encontrado más fruta y algún tipo de opción para personas con alergias.

Ventajas: La atención de Miguel y María que te hacen sentir en casa... un ambiente increíble!! De igual manera, las instalaciones del lugar están increíbles que tienes de todo para sentirte a gusto. Los servicios de clases de surf han superado más de las expectativas y con un profe de primera. Esperamos volver!

Ventajas: We liked everything! The hosts were really hospitable and were available to answer to our questions and provide recommendations at all times. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the restroom as well. The breakfast was great, and the kitchen had everything we could have hope for and more. The common rooms were comfortable and it had a full library to our disposition. Our stay in this hostel was perfect. Thank you all!

Desventajas: The location is not of easy access without personal transportation, but completely safe at all times. Really, just a minor issue.

Ventajas: Comfy & clean House with a nice living room, clean kitchen with everything you need & chilled outside area. Be aware that it is a little up in the Ferrell, so you need a car to go to Peniche or Baleal!

Ventajas: Beautiful castle house! Charming and with the character.... reminding of old times. The host is super nice and kind, the rooms very comfortable and clean. Don’t expect modern furniture because the beauty of the house is its history. The breakfast was served in a beautiful room and it was delicious. If you happen to be in that zone don’t hesitate to stay there!

Ventajas: An old family house on the way to Peniche. The owner welcomed us over a glass of Port and offered information about the area - places to visit, things to see and where to have dinner. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with antique artefacts, yet facilities are quite modern - a very comfortable bed and good water pressure in shower. Breakfast served in the dining room facing the garden was delicious and truly home made. Swimming pool looks lovely but we didn't have the chance to use it because of the weather.

Ventajas: The hosts were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was wonderful and we were greeted with a smile every morning and the best tasting fresh orange juice! The casa itself is beautiful and our room in the garden facing the swimming pool had everything we needed during our stay. We spent a lot of time lounging around the pool when we were not making the short trip to the beach at Baleal. The host gives helpful tips on where to go and where to eat. Really enjoyed this stay and would return if were ever near by.

Ventajas: Located just two minute walk from the reef, greatly equipped room, personel was very kind and helpful and provided us with tips and map. Also the Lidl market is quite nearby, neighbourhood was quiet and calm. The breakfasts were great!

Desventajas: During the check-out we had minor problems to communicate since only the cleaners were present in the building but unfortunately they didn't know english at all.

Ventajas: The best place for the money - recommending the suite with actually two balconys and the whole third floor to Yourself. Very helpful host recommending the best restaurant for dinner. Decent breakfast and street parking for a car. Quiet neighbourhood, 20min walk from city center, although there is nothing actually to see there. 1min/100m from shore, very nice place to have a walk.

Desventajas: Bathroom was 95% tidy and I needed to fix the shower door myself, therefore not giving a score of 10. No fan in bathroom, You need to open the window.

Ventajas: Amazing Breakfast, clean rooms and very nice staff with some good local tips. The beach is in walking distance and only takes a couple minutes to get to. I would highly recommended staying here.

Ventajas: It is decorated so beautifully and the rooms are so neat and clean . The manager is very nice and gave great directions by a map . Hope to spend more time in Peniche in either Aug or Sept 2020 it’s beaches are great !!

Ventajas: Super friendly staff, there's no problem with parking, nice breakfast.

Desventajas: A little minus is a bathroom which is outside and separate from the room itself (even if you book a room with a private bathroom) but there's not a big problem.

Ventajas: Nice quiet place to stay in Peniche. It is really not in the center but good to stay a bit and visit around. Place clean, quiet and nice people even if they don’t speak English.

Desventajas: Estaba todo impecable

Ventajas: La amabilidad del personal y el encanto del hostel. Se nota que cuidan los detalles y les encanta. Llegamos al "check in" más tarde de lo previsto (sobre las 21:30h), aún así nos esperaron y nos recibieron gratamente. Por cierto, la habitación del "forest" preciosa para ir en pareja!

Desventajas: Sólo diría que los baños eran algo antiguos y que la localización del hostel estaba poco señalizada.

Ventajas: El sitio es inmejorable, cerca de los acantilados, accesible y tranquilo

Desventajas: Este alojamiento no está preparado para alojar huéspedes en invierno. Pasé mucho frío. No tiene calefacción, la estufa del salón común no tenía leña y me dejaron un mini-calefactor para la habitación que aparte de hacer ruido no servía de mucho. No había agua caliente en uno de los dos baños. Y no ví a los anfitriones más que en el momento del checking. Dejaban preparado el desayuno (imaginad el café...) y desaparecían. Ninguna información de dónde comer, paseos y esas cosas que te ofrecen en otros sitios. Mal, francamente mal

Ventajas: Nice place - all available to feel like at home and make us enjoy this nice village. Super clean place. Excellent breakfast. Common spaces are spacious and well set up.

Desventajas: The girl at the reception doesn't speaks english, witch is a pitty. The position is very cool for the ocean but far from the city centre and near to the worst part of the city, poor and skaring by night..
