Ventajas: Un dormitorio y una sala de estar nos hizo un buen plan de estancia. Comfortable y tranquilo lugar también.

Desventajas: Por desgracia no pude utilizar el ordenador abajo. (sin conexión para e-mail? ).

Ventajas: todo perfecto

Ventajas: La piscina climatizada y el gimnasio

Desventajas: Las almohadas y el ruido de la aspiradora de la empleada de la limpieza a las 9 de la mañana, hay aspiradoras que son silenciosas...

Ventajas: Habitación grande. Buen escritorio. Bonita terraza. Preciosa vista.Muy cómodo

Desventajas: Acceso a Internet es complicado; se cae constantemente. Baja velocidad.

Ventajas: Lo que más nos gustó fue que había parking gratuito en las inmediaciones, que contando con que para visitar la isla el coche es prácticamente obligatorio, nos vino de lujo. Y la piscina interior, que viene genial para relajarse un poco después de las largas caminatas entre arboledas y cascadas :) También las dos botellitas de agua que te dejan como regalo de bienvenida.

Desventajas: Por poner una pega diré que la iluminación del baño era un poco escasa.

Desventajas: El cuarto estaba sucio y lleno de agua que almocreves se filtraba por la lluvia .

Ventajas: Buena habitación, buena ubicación, buenos lavabos, había nevera en la habitación.

Desventajas: La habitación podría haber tenido un poco más de iluminación.

Ventajas: Me pareció una muy buena relación calidad precio. Con el servicio me encontré cómoda y en casa, estuvimos bastante tiempo en el hotel y organizábamos limpieza habitación limpieza a demanda, me gustó la combinación hotel tipo empresa con la calidez de los empleados de limpieza habitaciones y bar.

Desventajas: No funcionó un día la sauna. Las zonas comunes, bar billar podrían tener más animación para crear vínculos sociales y saber que ofrecen comida etc. Faltaban dos bolas en el billar. Vi reseñas negativas sobre el hotel y no son ciertas, me hicieron dudar de lo que veía en las fotos. Sería necesario eliminar los comentarios de trolls.

Ventajas: Muy limpio, habitación amplia, zona de aparcamiento gratis en los alrededores. Desayuno muy bueno y variado

Desventajas: El agua del spa estaba fría

Ventajas: Me sorprendió mucho la calidad-precio del hotel. Habia visto comentarios en los que se comentaba que las instalaciones estaban algo anticuadas e imagino que son comentarios de hace algun tiempo puesto que las calidades del hotel son bastante buenas en comparación el precio por noche que me costó la habitación en planta ejecutiva en el puente de diciembre. El desayuno era muy completo y además teniamos acceso sin coste alguno al jacuzzi, sauna, gimnasio y piscina climatizada. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Desventajas: Por poner una pega está a unos 10-12 minutos andando del centro, pero la verdad es que Ponta Delgada es una ciudad muy tranquila y ese trayecto se hacia bastante bien.

Ventajas: Location and the new dedign of the lobby area

Desventajas: We had to change rooms after the first night because of a machine noise that kept us awake. The second room was quite.

Ventajas: Correcto, aunque el café era malo y no había variedad de bollería o dulces, sí de salados.

Ventajas: Desayuno muy bueno. La piscina, jacuzzi y sauna de acceso gratuito y estaban muy bien. Cama muy comoda y habitacion muy espaciosa y silenciosa. Las vistas desde la habitacion tambien eran muy bonitas.

Desventajas: El telefono de la ducha no iba muy bien. La temperatura del agua de la ducha a veces era intermitente.

Ventajas: Hotel is nice. Very good location. Very frendly Staff. Our room was realy big.

Desventajas: Buffet in the evening, poor food quality. The food was cold and tasteless for 19£ each and extra for a soda and coffee.

Ventajas: The staff were great, a wide selection for breakfast and generally professional serve provided.

Desventajas: Bed felt a little small - although so used to a king sized bed.

Desventajas: Breakfast is until 10:30 AM. However, guests are not told that by 10:30 AM staff starts taking everything off the buffet and that by 10:40 AM lights are shut down – even with people seated at the tables and enjoying their breakfast. This is surely a lack of respect to those seated down as there is not even a simple information from the staff saying that they need to close the breakfast room. There is no direct access from the rooms to the SPA and swimming pool area. Guests have to use the elevator to the Ground Floor and then use another one to get to the SPA and swimming pool area. This means that it does not make much sense for guests to walk around the Lobby Area in their Ropes as this is also a Hotel that receives Conferences! Even though the SPA area does offer guests changing rooms, these are not equipped with safes to keep our things. Hotel has a small private access road to their front door. Free Parking is available on the left hand side of this access road and around of the hotel are many available free parking spaces. The hotel itself offers parking at a very low rate. However, guests park wild on his tiny stretch of access road not allowing, in case of emergency, ambulances or firefighters to have access to the Hotel. This is simply outrages, especially when the main emergency exit cannot be open as vehicles simply park in front of it. Being this a private access belonging to the Hotel, there should be a control on this wild parking avoiding any future disaster.

Ventajas: All the rooms have a view of the waterfront/harbor. We had a balcony as well. Good size room with king size bed. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and an omelette station. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient. Nice rooftop bar.

Desventajas: El servicio del desayuno. Muy lento! Solo un día tuve el cafe servido cuando volví del bufet, los días restantes cafe insuficiente, espera de más de 20 minutos, y personal poco atento y desagradable cuando se reitera la falta de cafe La habitacion tiene un lavabo muy oscuro! Si se tiene visión reducida, etc facil golpearse con la puerta.

Ventajas: Desayuno atento

Desventajas: Limpieza muy tarde.

Ventajas: Hotel moderno de muy buena calidad (tanto la habitación y las instalaciones en general, como los servicios, el desayuno, etc.), en general muy recomendable.

Desventajas: Debería haber más intimidad en el baño (está bien para una pareja o una persona sola, pero p.ej. para un grupo de amigos no sería adecuado)

Desventajas: El camarero del bar de la azotea,maleducado,prepotente,impropio de un hotel de esa categoría.Nos llegó a insultar a mí y a mi familia.Por ello le pongo sólo un bien a la calificación global.Indigno.

Desventajas: No nos dieron trapos: Tienes que llevar los tuyos.

Ventajas: Muy cerca de la marina. corto maneras. amable y personal. Bonitas vistas.

Ventajas: El desayuno era increíble. El caballero que nos ayudó a poner nuestras maletas y llamó a nuestro taxi para el aeropuerto. Las camas eran extremadamente cómodas.

Ventajas: nos encantan los empleados, todos ellos muy educados y amables. todo fue genial. nos lo pasamos de maravilla allí.

Desventajas: la única cosa que pensamos que podrían mejorar es el colchón. una lista en nuestra habitación era difícil de llenar las bobinas y chirriar cuando te mueves, pero tal vez sólo estaba en nuestra cama. y nos alojamos por 13 noches.

Ventajas: El trato por parte del personal, excelente. La habitacion muy limpia y confortable.

Desventajas: La única pega, por poner alguna, que pedimos cama de matrimonio y eran dos camas unidas... Aun así resultó confortable a nivel tanto el colchon como la habitación en general.

Ventajas: El hotel tenia muy buenas vistas al mar. Habitaciones insonorizadas. Desayuno completo y cada dia ponian cosas nuevas. El personal de recepción muy bueno. A destacar, Andreia, una chica de recepción muy amable y atenta que nos aconsejó muy bien. Piscina muy grande y cubierta y jacuzzi i sauna perfecto.

Desventajas: Para poner algo, mas variedad en el desayuno.

Ventajas: La amabilidad del personal. Todos buen trato, la cama era muy comoda. El desyuno muy variado y completo. Las vistas muy buenas.

Desventajas: Tener que dejar el coche en el parking -2, el que no tenia acceso directo al hotel. Habia que salir, entrar al parking -1 y de alli acceder al hotel. Habia espacio en el parking -1.

Ventajas: They were able to accommodate a.m. checkin.

Desventajas: Early closing of pool and hot tub. Had to return early from touring and use these before dinner rather than before bed, as they close them at 9 pm

Ventajas: The location was great. Very close to the town and restaurants. Also close to the marina so we were able to just walk over to get on the boat that we chartered to fish. The concierge was very helpful also. On Friday evening it was nice that they served drinks and snacks and had a musician playing.

Desventajas: The bathroom was a bit small and awkward. hard to have two people in it at the same time.

Ventajas: El personal perfecto, el desayuno para nosotros excelente (excluimos los zumos q eran bastante malos), las instalaciones genial, con el precio está incluido el spa la sauna las piscinas

Desventajas: Estuvimos alojados en uno de los apartamentos y algo mejorable es la iluminación en las habitaciones, pq no hay puntos de luz en los techos. Donde se nota sobre todo es en la cocina, quisimos cenar un día y no es agradable comer con tan poquita luz.

Ventajas: Staff was excellent and really instrumental in organising my stay, tours, rent-a-car, airport pick-up and drop-off. They were available around the clock. Breakfast was both continental and local so I did not need look for a local cuisine restaurant - the hotel showed me the Azorean food. Spa and pool. My room had an extraordinary view over the bay of Ponta Delgada.

Desventajas: It's a bit off the centre of Ponta Delgada but it has its charm.

Ventajas: Positive things were the personal and the breakfast, correct for the price you pay.

Desventajas: One of the reasons we booked it was because of the gym. When we arrived there we were informed that the gym is not there any more. The rooms are small and the facilities a little old. We had a burger in the bar and it was the worse i ever tried.

Ventajas: The breakfast was very good, and a wide selection was on offer. The hotel location is quiet but very accessible to downtown and restaurants. The staff were helpful with requests and when seeking advice about Sao Miguel generally.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones estan muy bien (piscina exterior, interior, jacuzzi...). El desayuno completo y bueno.

Desventajas: La habitacion no tenia balcon (era exterior) y era normalita para el precio del hotel.

Ventajas: Jardin.

Desventajas: Estaba en obras

Desventajas: El hotel estaba en obras, había algo de ruido. La limpieza del balcón podría mejorar, estaba muy sucio.

Ventajas: El hotel en general es perfecto, con buenas instalaciones y muy buena ubicación, cerca del aeropuerto y muy cerca del centro de Ponta Delgada. Al ser temporada baja el hotel estaba casi vacio y se estaba muy bien. El desayuno era muy completo.

Desventajas: Un día jugamos al billar y nos cobraron 6€ por usarlo, pero no nos informaron cuando indicamos que queríamos usarlo, si no al devolver las bolas. Es un detalle que no procede.

Ventajas: Tener una piscina interior es un punto extra. Los desayunos muy bien

Desventajas: El balcon estaba sucio

Ventajas: Courtyard is beautiful. Lobby decor with Chinese themes is warm. All staff were extremely hospitable- front desk, bar, restaurant. Thank you Paulo for the breakfast!!

Ventajas: The hotel is in a quiet street and It's easy to park outside the hotel and to get out and get in into the city easily (we rented a car), also it's a 5 minute walk to the city center. The wifi works fine, the staff in the reception are and very nice and the water of the indoor the pool is warm.

Desventajas: The breakfast could have a little bit more variety for a 4 star hotel.

Ventajas: The hotel is centrally located, however, it is still quiet and comfortable. I like how the rooms are facing the hotel gardens, and they offer good quality complimentary breakfast.

Desventajas: The room cleaning is inconsistent, we had some good days the maid did an excellent job, and there were some days the maid did a lousy job in tidying the room.

Ventajas: TODO !!! asi en mayúsculas, la atención del personal ,son muy amables, la tranquilidad del hotel, la habitación amplia y camas muy confortables,todo muy limpio,el gran jardín interior, moqueta muy cálida tanto en la habitación como en pasillos,son cuatro pisos y en todos hay un montón de sofás y sillones para relajarte leyendo o tomando un café rodeado de arte,cuadros y muebles antiguos de estilo japonés , piscina exterior amplia,muy limpia y tumbonas cómodas, lo mismo digo de la interior con el excelente jacuzzi al lado,gimnasio y sauna para relajarte aun más. Buen desayuno Buffet tambien TODO en general,muy bien !!!

Desventajas: pues aqui, por comentar algo, la carta de cafeteria y restaurante solo es en portugués e inglés, creo que podrían ponerla también en español, aun siendo temporada baja de turismo,habia mas españoles en el hotel y nos facilitaría mucho para pedir la comida sin tener que pedir que nos expliquen el menú que queremos. En descargo del hotel, decir que es un tema que sucede en todos los restaurantes de Ponta Delgada, tendrán que hacérselo ver por que el turismo español está creciendo en Azores.

Ventajas: We stayed in this hotel for one night and have no complaints whatsoever. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was very good as well with a large assortment of items to choose from.

Desventajas: The bathroom might be due for renovation

Desventajas: Very noisey. You can hear everything from the people staying in the room next to you or even further away. I hardly got any sleep and I just didn‘t feel comfortable staying there. Hotel in general and bathrooms in particular need to be modernized.

Ventajas: Lo que más nos ha gustado es la ubicación del hotel, ya que está muy cerca de todo lo necesario y se sitúa en primera línea del mar. El Hotel es muy acogedor, bastante nuevo y apartamento muy amplio con terraza con vistas al puerto. El personal muy agradable.

Ventajas: Hotel is situated very well. It's really clean and personal is friendly. Breakfast is good.

Ventajas: La habitación era muy grande, la cama grande y cómoda. El servicio muy atento, nos guardaron las maletas al salir del hotel. Recomiendo este hotel por su ubicación, a 200m está el centro. Parking gratis en el hotel.

Desventajas: No me gustó el desayuno, muy escaso para ser un hotel de 3 estrellas. No tenían nada de bollería y muy poco embutido. Como punto positivo del desayuno diría que habían productos locales, aún así escaseaba.

Ventajas: Perfect area, surrounded with historical buildings and the cultural of the people...we love this hotel and will use them for 2 nights stay in May of 2021 with my maid of honour and my bride mates....

Ventajas: Location, staff, bed... Everything. The staff was so helpful and showed us everything we wanted to know and gave us towels for us to go to some specific places of the island. I recommend and I'll probably be back

Desventajas: Probably the variety of the breakfast but it was delicious!!

Ventajas: Breakfast was limited for a vegetarian option, very basic . It would have been good if there are a kettel and iron in each bedroom.

Ventajas: The staff was extremely helpful. Even gave us beach towels to take to the thermal springs. It was our wedding anniversary when we arrived and a bottle of champagne was delivered to our room. Over all experience was wonderful. Made if very easy to rent a car for the day.

Desventajas: Nothing we did not like.

Ventajas: The location is good and it has a car park which is good (although description at time of reservation didn't had this info), as most tourists will rent a car in this location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All suggestions for restaurants were spot on! I will definitely consider this hotel again whenever I come back.

Desventajas: (not a dislike but a factor for improvement) The breakfast was good, but it could have a larger variety. The amount of guests during my stay (during February) could easily justify that.

Ventajas: Very Close to the airport and city center. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Decent price point food is available for both lunch and dinner.

Ventajas: Great place to live if you don’t plan to spend time in the hotel - so it has everything you need for rest: plenty of free overnight parking places in front of the hotel, fast check in-check out, good breakfast, nice room with a great sleeping comfort. Also, it is just in 5 min walk from the main streets with restaurants and just 10 min drive from the airport

Ventajas: Everything! I had to stay overnight in S. Miguel due to a change in my flight, and I was sad to stay so little. Big and confortable room for a good value, genuinely friendly staff, there was a cradle ready for my 10 month son, and since we had to leave very early in the morning and before breakfast, they offered to prepare us a breakfast to go. I wish I stayed longer.

Desventajas: We asked for beds for 5 people, but one sofa was not made, we received information that the bedding is in the wardrobe. We rented a family Studio with the private bathroom (with a shower), which we particularly wanted, unfortunately it was not possible to use it. The shower tray had a hole that caused flooding the entire bathroom and an unpleasant smell. The shower tray was covered with towels, but that did not help. We contacted the service, pointing out the fault, informing about the problem, we got information to use the shared bathroom on the lower floor. It is true that the bathroom was cleaned every day, but after using the shower by one person, the next ones could not use it because the water was on the floor. on the second day we asked the apartment manager if the problem was solved because we noticed the bathroom was cleaned and we received the answer: "Dear Guest, Yes we know and we already talk with the technician and we ask for the material and we are waiting for the piece. Apart from that even with the problem you can use the bathroom of the apartment. Once again we really sorry for the situation. And we hope for your best understanding. Have a nice day. With the best regards, Casa da Matriz" until our departure the problem was not solved.

Ventajas: The breakfast basket was a really nice touch, each room had a basket delivered to the door each morning (if you were up and out early the host would accommodate this too) you can eat in the room or use the lovely and clean shared facilities (kitchen and lounge area with dining table) host even managed our vegan request really well, with almond and soya milks given to us. A big thank you and a great find.

Desventajas: We were there in December for NYE so this wasn't an issue for us but if it is hot weather and you want the window open in the evening the bug screen didn't close fully.

Ventajas: It's not the first time we stay with 2RC Azores housing. Staff is kind, everything from check-in to check-out is very easy and practical. Everything you need is in there, and breakfast is really nice.

Ventajas: Centrally located, quick check in.

Desventajas: Way too small for three people, no vanity kits in the bathroom, no elevator so prepare to carry your luggage all the way up of you have rented a studio. No car parking next to the venue.

Ventajas: Very good location, close to the airport. Staff was kind. Very good breakfest.

Desventajas: We could not take a shower due to the lack of hot water.

Desventajas: La cordialidad de la atención, la ubicación es excelente, el confort y aseo sin de lo mejor.

Ventajas: Simplemente encantada, fue una ganga conseguir un lugar tan bueno para el precio e incluía todo, que maravilla. El espacio y la limpieza del lugar es excelente, quedamos todos satisfechos. Sin duda alguna, regresaría a Azores y me hospedaría aquí nuevamente. Gracias por un buen servicio!

Ventajas: The location is great, you can reach everything in a few minutes walk. The staff is also very nice. For breakfast we received a lot of food, more than you would normally have. Alltogether, we had a great time at Casa da Matriz.

Ventajas: Everything was perfect and the Staff were amazing.

Ventajas: Silencioso, cómodo, limpio. Desayuno adecuado a la categoría del hotel. Wifi perfecto. Piscina, aunque no tuve tiempo de usarla.

Desventajas: El precio para una sola persona puede resultar caro. Está ubicado un poco lejos del mar, en una calle con pendiente, por lo que si no vas en coche tendrás que cargar cuesta arriba las maletas.

Ventajas: I was at this hotel more than 15 years ago and I have excellent memories from that stay. It was really good to see that after all this time the hotel evolved, still modern, but keeping the high standard from the past. All is excellent, including the building (an old music school), the staff, the breakfast (with a great variety of the amazing Azores cheeses) and the location (walking distance from all the good places in Ponta Delgada). Resuming, it was a pleasure to come back after all these years!

Desventajas: Nothing to dislike!

Ventajas: Edificio histórico remodelado creando espacios muy agradables. Excelente localización. Habitación espaciosa, luminosa, limpia y con baño con bañera. Buen desayuno.

Desventajas: Se podría añadir algo más de fruta en el desayuno.

Ventajas: Great restoration of an old building in the historic centre. Good breakfast and very helpful reception staff.

Desventajas: Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be helpful. Fortunately I had checked beforehand if these were provided and saw that they weren’t and we took our travel kettle with us!

Desventajas: La habitación, su diseño y la comodidad de la cama

Ventajas: Excellent staff! Nice location.

Desventajas: The pool isn't heated.

Ventajas: I like how beautiful and cozy this Hotel is, the service was outstanding a big hug to the staff who looked after me when I was late for dinner and always a smile which brightened my day this will be the place to stay for my next visit in the near future.

Desventajas: The shower head was a little broken it wasn’t working properly I hope you can check and fix it it’s in room 211, a very beautiful room by the way :)

Ventajas: El desayuno es muy bueno. La atención del personal es optima. Si deseas comer o cenar en el Hotel dispone de una buena carta. Nosotros hemos cenado sushi y nos ha gustado mucho.

Desventajas: Por poner un pero los baños de las habitaciones deberían cambiar la bañera por un buen plato de ducha. Resultaría mucho más cómodo y espacioso.

Ventajas: Limpio, cómodo, tranquilo, muy bien ubicado

Desventajas: A veces se oían ruidos, por la mañana pronto sobre todo, como si hubieran obras

Ventajas: The breakfast was ok taking in account tht it was at 5:00 am

Desventajas: Get up so early to come back

Ventajas: Breakfast was excellent. Comfy pillows and beds. Great location within walking distance of all the restaurants, Mercado, museums, cafes.

Desventajas: In room heating and air con was not the best.
