Ventajas: As we check-in they explained to us, that they are full and they arranged a room for us in another hotel. They arranged also all transportation (including transportation on airport next day) and a booking for a firefly tour. The staff were really friendly and supportive.

Ventajas: El personal, y el dueño Lolo. Fue su cumpleaños y nos invitó a comer con sus amigos y familiares. Es una suerte que haya sitios así, ojalá hubiera un Casa Belina en cada ciudad. Todo muy limpio, el wifi iba con buena velocidad y sin cortes, desayuno que dejan escoger y que varían cada día y muy bueno. Y sobretodo la amabilidad del personal!

Desventajas: Nos gustó absolutamente todo. Estuvimos super a gusto, es un lugar familiar y darles un 10 sabe a poco.

Ventajas: Very very friendly and helpful staff - always willing to phone and book for you and go the extra mile. Helped us arrange transport and gave us an idea of prices. Breakfasts were delicious and changed everyday (with a variety of options) and included fruit at the start of the meal (also offered a menu with other items for lunch/dinner/snacks). Room was very comfortable with great air-con. Cleaning available everyday as well as a laundry service. Location was off main road so quieter. Overall, I highly recommend!

Ventajas: Everything!!!! Staff is and are incredibly accommodating. Owners Be and Lina have made a 5 star (in our estimation) accommodation. Very secure & safe, comfortable bed with real AC. Enclosed terrarium sitting room complete with geckos. Food is outstanding best we found on this trip. The night lady/ cook is truly an absolute sweetheart with the warmest smile. Mary Ann & I missed dinner due to a long day traveling from El Nido and away from Typhoon Tisoy. We napped until 2300/1100 pm and at about 1145 we’re starving. She made us each a club sandwich that beat any I have ever had. Free shuttle to airport and maybe a ten minute ride so pretty close. Would stay again without hesitation.

Desventajas: Absolutely nothing. Your stay will be a fond memory especially if you have spent time in other accommodations throughout Palawan Island.

Ventajas: Great owners, very friendly and welcoming. We had one night an Italian dinner with them and it was delicious. Room was clean and spacious, with AC, bed comfortable. They also have 2 super cute dogs! There is also a small local shop nearby if you need something.

Desventajas: The location is a bit outside of the city but close to the airport. But we knew it beforehand so no problem. There is some renovation going on the upper floors but it does not start very early and by the late afternoon there is no more noise.

Desventajas: Unfortunately, the jacuzzi can't be used at the time we stayed. One of the reasons why I booked this place due to the jacuzzi. You'll have to pay extra as well for this.

Ventajas: Hisbiscus is like a hidden. gem. You wouldnt notice it from the road but one you enter through reception you are transformed into a boho vibe. The gardens are stunning, so much detail and look gorgeous when lit up at night too. The pool area is small but to a high standard. the rooms are spacious with a nice strong shower and have lots of lovely touches, like table chairs and hammock outside your door. The food is done to a high standard and the staff are so friendly. Total luxury. highly reccomend..

Ventajas: El Hostel está cerca del aeropuerto, 5 minutos en triciclo. Las habitaciones son básicas pero limpias y cómodas. El baño es amplio y estaba limpio. La cama cómoda. Además la señora que lo lleva prepara una comida estupenda por muy buen precio. Nos gestionaron ellos el triciclo al aeropuerto por la mañana a buen precio.

Ventajas: Lo que más nos gustó del sitio fue la atención y la amabilidad de kristel, la propietaria. La ubicación está genial si lo usas para conectar con el aeropuerto, es una zona muy tranquila. Kristel te facilita la conexión de tu viaje tanto si vas al aeropuerto como si vas en van a cualquier parte de Palawan, por módicos precios.

This retreat offers a unique experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here.Both me and my wife also had a wonderful massage here for a very reasonable price.Overall I cannot recommend this retreat enough ....for your information it is only a 20 minute drive from here to one of the 7 new natural wonders of the world(underground river)

Ventajas: Incredible place. If you are a nature lover, you won’t be disappointed. Literally in the jungle, you will see animals there! Very authentic cottages. Incredibly kind and helpful staff and manager. there is a path (15min through the jungle and rice fields) that leads to a deserted beach, where you are 100% alone, enjoying nature! Prepare for stairs/elevation. The hotel is on the hill. Hotels around Puerto Princesa do not have beach access... so this hotel is a unique combination of jungle/beach!

Desventajas: We liked everything. However everyone is different and you should be prepared for staying in the jungle. Animals make noise, especially at night. There was no hot water during our stay, which was no problem for us. Weather is very warm so we never felt like needing it. It is an eco-friendly place, water is heated by solar energy, and there wasn’t enough sunshine during our stay. Having a car is highly recommended, distances are long in Palawan and there is no town around. Again none of these impcted us, we had a perfect stay.

Ventajas: The staff are pleasant and very friendly. The spa rates are very reasonable and the massages were excellent and staff there quite professional. The pool was clean and the sun loungers comfortable. The room was divine! Very comfortable and clean. I loved the shower too. Minibar is really nice (maybe add some snacks to it and restock drinks daily!) The Xmas Eve food was amazing, especially the roasted beef.

Desventajas: The service was generally terrible! Don't get me wrong, the staff were lovely. But the drinks would take ages to arrive and we'd have to often go up and remind the staff that we had ordered and it is yet to arrive. On Xmas Eve, we ordered a bottle of wine three times and it failed to arrive with us until we had finished our entire buffet meal. Very disappointing. We ordered caesar salads which arrived without and caesar dressing (lettuce with croutons and parmesan). Had to then wait ten minutes for a dressing to arrive. For a high-class hotel, the food and beverage service requires a lot of improvement. We decided to deduct all service charges off our final bill as it was terrible throughout our three night stay. The pool needs some maintainence (tiles missing etc). The breakfast was quite limited in western options. The cereal was pretty stale too.

Ventajas: Modern, clean and rooms were spacious, our family room was effectively 2 adjoining rooms. Staff were friendly, efficient pick up from airport (free). Loved the rooftop pool, buffet food was good and great value and fire dancer entertainment was brilliant. Would totally recommend.

Desventajas: Only very minor but I wanted to book in trip in advance and they wanted me to send a copy of my credit card which I wasn’t happy to do , they need a secure payment method so I booked elsewhere. They also took a deposit on my card which they won’t return until 3 weeks later which seems unnecessary. Most hotels just take the cc details and only put through if needed.

Ventajas: The hotel is cute and personal. The Breakfast menu had a variety of options that were freshly prepared. During the day, there is the option to order food from the kitchen. The hotel has a small pool with sun loungers. However it was the owner that made the stay memorable. He was always happy to help to make our stay even better e.g. by suggesting local restaurants and then booking tables there as well as arranging transport for us.

Desventajas: It is completely isolated. There’s a beach a 20-minute walk away but no shops, restaurants, bars or anything else - you’d have to go all the way back to Puerto Princesa. There is absolutely nothing to do in the evenings whatsoever. We found it awkward having to order breakfast and dinner hours in advance and sit outside Tony & Liz’s apartment to eat, no atmosphere either. They didn’t have a good drinks selection, only beers. We liked Tony at first but he became quite pushy and overbearing. He made a big fuss about how expensive the WiFi is, and this wasn’t available for all of our stay. We found Port Barton & El Nido absolutely great - give this place a miss if you’re considering it. The beach has nice views but lots of grubby dogs, no toilets and all feels quite run down.

Ventajas: I loved the cottage! It's beautiful and neatly done. It's totally mosquito proof and the facilities look new and work really well! The hosts are really nice and friendly. They do this for fun and it shows. They help you with booking tours also! The breakfast is yummy!

Desventajas: It's a bit far from the beach (it's kind of a hike to get there) but if you have a scooter, you are set!

Ventajas: Los anfitriones son muy amables. El desayuno es grande y variado quedas satisfecho, muy rico la opción frances con crêpes. Ventajas: We loved our stay at Villa Nagtabon. Tony and Liz made us feel right at home! Liz is an amazing cook and we would highly recommend staying for dinner in the evenings as the food is delicious and very well priced! Tony offers a free shuttle to and from the beach each day and they also assisted with organizing tours and anything else we required! The room is spacious and very clean with own private bathroom. There is also a nice spring water pool on the property to cool off in. In the evenings you can enjoy total peace and quiet with just the sounds of night life. The drive to the beach is just under 5 minutes and Nagtabon beach is stunning. Overall we had the best time staying here and would highly recommend! Hope to visit again someday

Ventajas: Villa Nagtabon offers upscale accommodation close to beautiful Nagtabon Beach. The owners are very accommodating, kind and ready to help with anything (i.e. to offer a pick-up service from the beach). The huts are well-equipped with beds, bunk-beds, showers, water kettle (coffee/tea is included), etc. and a spacious terrace. In each hut here is a small vault to lock away one's valuables and beach towels/snorkeling equipment/board games can be rented at no cost. The privacy one enjoys here makes for a relaxing stay.

Desventajas: The rates correspond more to the European price level rather than to that of the Philippines. Here the owners (who take their business very seriously) could look at similar structures to try to make their operations more cost-efficient, so travelers on a tighter budget don't remain excluded. (Include breakfast?) Interaction with fellow travelers can be difficult due to the distance between the hut. (Create a common area?) As a side-note for travelers: The beach is a 20-30-minute walk away (taking a steep road) so one should organize transportation ahead of time.

Tiene síntomas de desgaste, como el mobiliario de la piscina, la propia piscina con la madera cerca de que en breve tendría problemas y los azulejos de la misma, que se han caído la mayoría. en la habitación estaba todo muy limpio pero hay grandes grietas en las paredes y los ajustes de los muebles. Solo con cuidado de mantenimiento el hotel sería fantástcico, pero aun no lo es.

Desventajas: Our initial room did not look good at all, lots of huge scratches on the walls and everything looked really used, we got another room without any complications, which was much better. But the room looked still a big run down. I missed a beside table on my side of bed, which was a bit annoying.

Ventajas: A perfect place for a 1-3 days stay. Very quiet and with a nice swiming pool. The rooms are cosy and the bed very confortable. The staff is great, and they allowed me checking-out just before my flight that was in the evening. Moreover, they provide you free airport transfer. If any day I amb back to P Princesa I will repeat here with no doubt.

Ventajas: Staff were lovely and incredibly friendly right from the get go. They were very helpful in recommendations and offered free pick-up from the airport and to the bus terminal. Room was surprisingly big and comfortable. WiFi was good in the room. A few restaurants 5/10 min walk from the hotel.

Desventajas: The bathroom could do with touch-up and had a strange smell. Not near to the centre so if you’re looking for bars possibly a bit far out. Worth noting there are some dogs that bark as you walk up towards the hotel - had no issues and felt safe though.

Place is quite remote, closest restaurant is 10min walk away. Bed was not very comfortable - felt quite “plastic-y” under the sheet. Didn’t manage to relax fully. Place is good for money if you are doing a quick stopover. We stayed one short night only and it was sufficient.

Ventajas: We loved the location and the staff was really helpful! It's a bonus that we got to check-in early as no one was occupying the room. We highly recommend this place! :)

Ventajas: - It was a good location (ka lui was an amazing, close restaurant) - free tea, coffee, toast - staff were friendly and did their best - having a thicker duvet was nice - it was cheap (so the below things shouldn’t have been a surprise but was a bit disappointed given it had good reviews)

Desventajas: - getting bitten by the ants in the bed - the big cockroach that lived in the bathroom crack in the wall - the shower that wouldn’t drain - the shower head wouldn’t hold itself up so had to be wrapped around the soap holder - WiFi was broken and didn’t work during our entire stay, had to go out and buy a sim. Could have spent the extra money spent on paying for a more expensive place to stay.

Ventajas: la piscina está super bien y casi siempre vacía, ya que el hotel tiene solo 8 habitaciones. las trabajadoras son muy majas y agradables, nos dejaron hacer el check in una hora antes, ya que llegamos muertos. el restaurante es un poco caro, pero los platos son gigantes, sobre todo el arroz (que está muy bueno) y la hamburguesa (tamaño XXL PREMIUM de tres pisos y patatas). el desayuno muy rico, incluso el café con leche. hay una cabañita para fumadores en la piscina. se encuentra a 15mins andando de un centro comercial donde también se puede comer. hicimos la excursión al río subterráneo contratado por ellos por 1800PHP y te vienen a buscar al hotel. en resumen, una maravilla.

Desventajas: había hormigas en la habitación pero en todos los hoteles de Palawan pasa ésto. hay agua embotellada en la habitación pero hay que pagarla. agua fría en la ducha.

Desventajas: En todas partes del alojamiento habían carteles con advertencias. Todo estaba prohibido. No fumar, no hacer ruido, no tocar, etc.. Con una hoja en la habitación sería más que suficiente. Esto nos hizo sentir incómodos, en vez de bienvenidos.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones, son estupendas. Todo muy limpio, habitaciones amplias, con nevera y ketle. El personal amable y atento. Nos aconsejaron a donde ir y a donde no ir. La piscina estupenda con mucho espacio para trabajar y disfrutar. El bar restaurantes su comida puede parecer que tenga precio elevado pero la cantidad y calidad lo merece :) Fuimos por 2 dias y nos quedamos 5. Ideal para desconectar, descansar y trabajar. ¡Volveremos!

Desventajas: Está alejado del centro pero nosotros alquilamos moto y en cuestión de 10 minutos estabas en al zona de restaurantes.

Ventajas: It was okay, and the owner did send someone to pick us up from the airport, and we arranged for her to drop us off at the airport. She also helped us with getting two sightseeing trips.

Desventajas: The property was not centrally located. This property advertised itself as an Air BNB, but didn’t allow you to bring in food to prepare or even to wash your underwear or bathing suit in the room. The staff insisted that we pay for the room upon check in, and only accepted cash. The staff did allow us to pay the next day as we needed to get cash from the ATM teller.

Ventajas: La limpieza genial, el personal muy atento. Llegamos de aeropuerto y aun llegando una hora mas tarde d lo que empezaba el tour nos lo gestionaron para poder ir. La piscina estupenda. Y el desayuno...la mejor tortilla de toda filipinas!!

Desventajas: Quiza este un poco alejado de centro por lo qje es complicado salir a cenar o moverte sin triciclo. Solo estuvimos una noche asi que sin problemas.

When we checked out we were asked if we had took something from the minibar, we said no and yet she sent someone to run to the room to check if that was true !
