B&B Pompeilog

The house is a 10-15 min walk to the archiological park (pompeii ruins) and super close to the train station too! The house itself is well kept and the room was fantastic! The bathroom was quite little but it was clean and had everything you could need! The bed was comfortable and the pillows weren't flat! Breakfast had a fantastic variety of foods and drinks and the sitting area was super tidy too! Roberto the host was super friendly and very helpful! I couldn't have been happier with this stay!

The owner is the most welcoming and kind you'll ever meet. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast it's complete (beside cornetto with jam/chocolate there's also cheese, ham, cereals, yogurts, sweets and any kind of morning beverage). It was a pleasant stay.

Roberto is a wonderful and kind host, he is really there for his guests - in a decent and appropriate manner. And he's not only knowledgable about the area of Pompeii, Naples and the Amalfi Coast but knows well many regions of Italy. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. You can store your own food in a large fridge in the kitchen and can prepare coffee and enjoy some snacks on an maisonette-style open space just above the reception. - ARRIVAL: The brand new station Villa Regina (Circumvesuviana Line) is just 300 meters (as the bird flies) from the B&B. Roberto communicated well before our arrival and offered to pick us up at the station which we declined. Though it is only a short distance (approx. 500 meters) it may still be wise to accept the offer. This is because there are two approaches to the B&B and if you take the "wrong" one, you are walking a couple of hundred meters on a dangerously narrow and much frequented road without a boardwalk. If you walk down to the road paralleling the railway tracks on the ocean side, you'll be fine even without being picked-up. Another option is to travel to the trenitalia station Torre Anunziata Centrale which is 1.4 km from the B&B and a nicer journey from Naples along the shore. The walk from there is easy enough.

The spacious shower was a bit on the low side in terms of water-presure/heat ratio.

Robert was an amazing owner. He gave us a ride to the Pompeii entrance on his way to run an errand. Bed was comfortable and shower had the best water pressure of any place in 8 weeks of traveling. Close to a McDonald's if you care. If you walk from ville Regina station, walk down the steps and turn right to take the way with best streets for walking.

The host Mr Roberto picked me up for free from Pompei Scavi train station which takes only 15 minutes by walking. The room is spacious and toilet is sparkling clean. Breakfast is adequate. There are some eateries and Mc Donald nearby. Roberto is very friendly and accommodating, can text him anytime whenever you need help. He even took me out for the best pizza in napoli with his friends, we had a great night out. Overall, it was by far my best accommodation and experience in italy. Highly recommended PompeiLog to everyone if you are planning to visit Pompei ruin.
