Ventajas: Everything was fantastic. It was intimate, clean, great food, very helpful and accommodating. We loved it ALL!

Desventajas: Wouldn't have changed a thing.

Ventajas: Amazing hosts. Great location and facilities. Best homecooked Italian food ever. Probably the best resort we could have found in Mexico. Completely different experience than any of the large hotels in and around Cancun.

Desventajas: It has now spoiled all the other hotels for us. The bar has been set way too high.

Ventajas: This was the best hotel we have stayed at in Mexico. Tranquil, friendly place. We loved our little bungalow! Located right in the jungle, no noise except singing birds and talking geckos. Super clean. The nicest staff. Great hint on how to get to a beautiful beach as well.. And delicious meals prepared by Italian chef :-) Highly recommended!

Ventajas: This place is a dream! The hosts are super welcoming, the bungalows well equipped cosy charming and perfectly clean, breakfast is delicious and they offer a beautiful swimmingpool. This is the perfect romantic paradise !

Desventajas: Everything was absolutely perfect!

Ventajas: El hotel es muy hermoso y tranquilo. El lugar perfecto para el que anhela un poco de serenidad. El desayuno es magnifico. La piscina hermosa. La señora Morena y Vanesa fueron muy atentas con nosotros. El dia que partimos era muy temprano y se tomaron la molestia de organizarnos un desayuno para llevar.

Ventajas: Little paradise in the woods. Nice relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Owners are wonderful people. Very hospitable and super friendly. Wonderful to wake up to the sound of all different birds in the forest surrounding the property. Breakfast was superb! We had dinner as well. Really enjoyed our stay!

Desventajas: WiFi was limited in our cabana, but we found it to be very relaxing

Ventajas: Las cabañas están muy bien hechas, muy cómodas y limpias, con todos los detalles. El servicio espectacular: el desayuno y la cena, bien servidas y muy sabrosas. El entorno hermoso, muy tranquilo.

Desventajas: Nada, todo espectacular, volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Ventajas: The owners, staff, pets, food and the facilities were all wonderful. And our family loved all their pets, especially Ramon! The bungalows are beautiful and even the toiletries are awesome. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was very unique although it was not real cold because it was very hot outside. You can tell that this property is very well taken care of and the owners have put in a lot of effort to make it very nice. And the sheets were very soft too.

Desventajas: There is truly only one negative and that is lack of air conditioning. It's too hot during the Summer with no air. It would probably be fine during the Winter months but it was a bit rough.

Ventajas: Beautifully located eco hotel which is wonderful to have a total relax, chill by the pool

Ventajas: Todo, es un hotel de cinco estrellas, ya no solo por sus instalaciones, si no por el trato recibido, Morena y Vanessa siempre pendientes de ti.

Ventajas: We loved it here!! The property is amazing: very natural but also refined. The cabanas (we had a standard one) are also awesome: beautiful and no sacrifices regarding comfort (fridge, kitchen, ...). But the best part of staying here: the staff. Vanessa and her mom are amazing. The food was EXCELLENT, both breakfast and dinner.(Make sure you eat dinner at the villa). They helped me to set up the proposal to my now fiancée with a romantic dinner at our own cabana. More romantic, no way. Muchas gracias y espero que volvamos!!

Desventajas: That we only stayed for 2 nights

Ventajas: Las instalaciones están increíbles, las cabañas, la alberca, la sencillez y a la vez tan en armonía con la naturaleza. El trato tan gentil de los propietarios. Es maravilloso

Desventajas: Un magnífico paraíso selvático lleno de detalles. Las cabañas están de lo más lindo, el recibimiento tan personalizado y con tantos detalles como las bebidas de cortesía bien frías en el frigobar, un excelente café al atardecer.... Un riquísimo baño despertando sensaciones aromáticas con los productos naturales y ecologícos que se encuentran en el cuarto. Un lugar sensacional donde gozas del cantar de los pájaros, el silencio y mucho pero mucho amor que se siente de parte de los propietarios quienes te atienden persinalmente. Definitivamente recomendable 100%.

Ventajas: Este todo incluido de un centro de bienestar es realmente bueno! Clases de yoga y meditación están incluidas todo el día!!!

Desventajas: Todo el mundo y todo fue fantástico

Ventajas: Really wanted to like but...On first day, requested quiet room but was put near large construction site. Was told that it would be quiet because it was holiday week and not construction would occur. Jackhammers started and 7 a.m. and continued until 7:30 at night. Called to ask why they told me that information, and they didn't have an answer but said the hotel was full and I would have to wait the next day. I called the next day and got the same answer. On the THIRD day, I went to the front desk and told them that I was told I could be moved that day. The front desk said no because others were being moved first. The front desk had no record of these phone calls. I felt lied to and manipulated. They also moved be finally to a room where the fan rattled continuously even when turned off. Hard to sleep.

Ventajas: The resort is a wonderful size. The staff are fabulous. The food is flavourful. The location is superb. The jacuzzi tub on the patio is a great idea. Every room faces a beautiful ocean view. The snorkelling and swimming were beyond our expectations. Who knew sushi on the pool deck would be such a great idea? Very firm but soft mattresses.

Desventajas: We were not warned that construction was ongoing and we could not sleep later than 7:00 due to the noise. The room patio only has one chair and we asked for two but none was forthcoming. We were locked out of our room due to a malfunctioning electronic lock and it took well over one hour to have the boss return to the hotel and open our door. Smoking is allowed on room patios and as non smokers we did NOT enjoy our neighbours nasty habit. Double beds instead of queen size made it difficult for my 6'3" hubby to get comfortable - they should find some way to put the two beds together.

Ventajas: Snorkeling. Staff. Activities. Restaurants. Penthouse suite! Overall, it was a good stay for the price but we probably won't return in the near future.

Desventajas: Seaweed was definitely an issue for about 4 of our 8 days. Staff work all day to clean but it's still bad from morning to 1ish. Hotel is a little older but well maintained.

Ventajas: Traveled in June for 8 nights. Wonderful staff, very friendly. Only had a little bit of trouble finding space at the beach or by the pools - but we did hear the hotel was at capacity. No problems with our room, which was on the bottom floor of building 2, but heard about flooding in other rooms during the storm that hit. It was worth it not to have any room issues, but our room was super close to the snack bar and main pool, so not a great view. Was nice to walk easily out of our patio door and to the pool or bar though. Loved the yoga instructor for vinyasa yoga - wish I remembered his name - he was a really terrific instructor and the location/view was out of this world. For an hour a day you could rent free snorkeling gear from the hotel, but I recommend bringing your own so you can be out in the water with the sea turtles for hours. Lots of tour groups, so the best time to go is early in the morning, but we went out many afternoon and still saw plenty of turtles, rays, and fish, without being crowded. The food at the a la carte restaurants was great - our favorites were the Mexican and the Gourmet (just skip the chicken at the gourmet). Restaurants were all small though, so we heard there were frequently long waits to eat dinner at any of them (though we usually went at the beginning of service ~ 6 or 630pm and were seated immediately). The made to order eggs for breakfast and pasta for lunch and dinner at the buffet were excellent. The sushi bar was so so and very slow service. I think I got very sick from eating a mushroom at the Japanese/Peruvian restaurant (it was just about the only thing I ate that my boyfriend did not eat that day). The room service was included with all-inclusive 24/7 and usually very good (though it varied from day to day with regards to quality, quantity, and even ingredients for the same menu item).

Ventajas: We loved the snorkeling, saw lots of fish and turtles everyday. Although sparce, the rooms were very comfortable, the jacuzzi is a nice idea but we never used it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Desventajas: Overall the food was OK, some we liked some we didn't. We ate most of the time at the buffet because of the variety. We did not like the sushi restaurant of the asian fusion. The brazilian restaurant was pretty good once we learned to ask for rare and medium rare pieces, otherwise the meat was so overcooked it was like leather. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of Mexican food, there was chips and guacamole but would have liked more variety of local foods.

Ventajas: Todo me gustó. Pero más que todo la ubicación y la privacidad de la propiedad.

Desventajas: La lluvia

Ventajas: El snack bar! Muy bueno y la tranquilidad de las villas.

Desventajas: Algo lejos de la playa. No respetaron mi reservación un día. Y la tele del cuarto no servía.

Ventajas: The restaurants were very good, they give you good alcohol and the food is ok. Room service was great, the pools and the hotel was very clean.

Desventajas: The brands of the alcohol were low budgget, They only have 1 drug store located at another hotel, fra from our saty and they couldnt bring the medicine to the room, you have to go for it.

Ventajas: El complejo hotelero en sí es bonito y bien cuidado. La amabilidad de todo el personal es excelente. Los restaurantes a la carta, si eres capaz de reservarlos con toda la antelación posible, valen la pena. La comida del bufet también está bastante bien. La habitación es correcta, sin demasiado a destacar.

Desventajas: En general parece un resort orientado al turismo americano. Animación y actividades pobres. Esta lejos de la playa y tienes que desplazarte continuamente en una especie de trenecito turístico. Entiendo el por qué, pero es un poco cansado que se esté buscando continuamente la propina, aunque esto pasa en toda la zona.

Ventajas: the food buffet was excellent. everyday dishes are different. Free drinks, and the people were very helpful, polite and humble. absolutely worth my stay here in Tulum.

Desventajas: the aircon problem, someone entered our room to fix for almost an hour. so we have to wait inside and wait til they were done.

Ventajas: Clean, well kept grounds, variety

Desventajas: Food was bland. In my group 5 out of 6 people got got sick from food poisoning. Need hooks in rooms; place to hang wet clothes

Ventajas: La playa, la comida y las bebidas

Desventajas: Cero cero orientados a user experience. No saben resolver situaciones fuera de su protocolo. Todos los lugares hay que moverse en carritos de golf que se tardan hasta 1 hora en pasar a recogerte. No hay opción para hacer booking por anticipado de los restaurantes de especialidad. El check in fue hasta las 4 PM!!

Ventajas: Todo estaba muy limpio, cama cómoda y personal muy atento

Desventajas: Cuando llegamos tuvimos problemas para reservar en los restaurantes a los que queríamos ir, a pesar de estar alojados una semana. Estaban todos ocupados, sin plazas.

Ventajas: Great and helpful staff, adults only beach, calm and relaxing ambience, enough sunbeds - do not have to wake up early to catch sunbed, food

Desventajas: The rooms and facilities are really run down and really need upgrade. Dirty window shades, no privacy because the buildings are very close to each other, broken furniture, smell from AC that they tried to cover with toilet refresher, so you feel like sleeping on the public toilets.

Ventajas: Nos encantó el profesional, rápido y alegre personal. Ellos son los que hacen una estancia estupenda y agradable. Todo estaba siempre limpio y organizado. Tienen personal por todos lados que lo hace todo perfecto.

Desventajas: No fue una estancia suficientemente larga! Seguro que volveremos.

Ventajas: Todo el personal era fenomenal. Abraham (camarero junto a la piscina) tenía todas las bebidas llenas y era muy amable. Después del primer día conoció sus órdenes de bebidas y le hizo sugerencias de bebidas impresionantes. Rene, Halmet, Jonas, Laura, Felix y Miguel fueron increíbles en el equipo de entretenimiento. Jugar al voleibol y a los juegos de la tarde en la piscina tuvo que ser uno de nuestros puntos destacados del viaje. También organizaron algunos espectáculos increíbles en el teatro de entretenimiento por la noche.

Desventajas: Hay muchos mosquitos en esta zona. Tuvimos que cubrirnos en gran spray cada noche y todavía lograría morirse. El complejo rociaba una niebla pesada cada mañana y noche para ayudar a mantener los mosquitos alejados. El spray no fue agradable y dejó una persistente niebla en el aire durante 20 minutos o así que tuvimos que respirarlo.

Ventajas: El mejor hotel que he estado, perfecto para relajarse. El personal es profesional y amable. Tiene 3 piscinas, una con actividades y música, otra con música pero sin actividades y otra más apartada con chill out, ruidos de la naturaleza o música clásica (perfecta para leer y relajarse). La comida es de muchísima calidad. Todas las noches hay música en directo con artistas de calidad. No se le puede pedir más a un hotel, nos sentimos como en casa.

Desventajas: Por decir algo, algunas habitaciones están cerca del lobby y tienen bastante paso de personas, lo que hace que haya algo más del ruido deseado, pero nada exagerado. Sin duda repetiría.

Ventajas: Food choices, service staff

Desventajas: Pool closed too early, ‘preferred package’ was absolutely NOT worth the cost. I was offended that in order to sit poolside at a two-person table the resort charged a minimum of 150.00. However, if you sat four feet away at a table for 8 the price was ZERO. It code not a cent more for the resort to set up a two person table yet they tried to make a buck off of people and the way they did it with their ‘hostesses’ who were there to explain the ‘packages’ was in poor taste because they didn’t tell you it was no cost to sit at a large table unless you asked them.

Ventajas: I was a cruise fan but I am now a convert. All Inclusive is the way to go. The staff was amazing. I have never been so pampered!!

Desventajas: It would be great if they had a phone app for the resort showing specifics for the day. They do have a tablet in the room that provides this info so this is just a wish list item.

Ventajas: Although the food and drink are outstanding, it is the service and people we like best. Everyone greets you with "hola!" and seems genuinely proud to help. This is why we keep coming back.

Desventajas: I can't honestly say there is anything I would change. We had activities that we could participate in (or not) all day and evening. Entertainment spanned a wide variety of interests, and no boring shows.

Ventajas: We loved the hospitality and customer service! The resort was beautiful, very clean (I’m very picky about cleanliness), EXCELLENT restaurants, beautiful pools with soothing lounge music (the middle pool), and the spa was our absolute favorite!!?

Desventajas: Only one complaint, the beds are really loud. Just sitting on the bed creates a loud banging noise.

Ventajas: We had the swim out pool which was nice. The bed was very comfortable and room was one of the nicest I stayed in.

Desventajas: For the cost I don't feel like it was worth it. We went to the Italian restaurant and it wasn't good. I ordered from room service and theres a limit on how much you can order. My reason for booking this resort was to get more time to see the sea turtles. You can only to go to see the sea turtles with paid guide.

Ventajas: En general buenas instalaciones. Buenas opciones de buffette y restaurante.

Desventajas: Deslealtad comercial. A la hora de reservar dieron un precio por 3 adultos y 1 niño hasta 3 años. Una vez en el hotel avisan que se debió a un error de booking y que debo pagar un adicional por uno de mis niños. Muchas respuestas de manual. Mala atención. Repitieron hasta el hartazgo que me entendían y que tenía razón, pero igual me debían cobrar porque era error de booking. Dicen que es mi responsabilidad arreglar el tema con booking. Cuidado a la hora de las reservas, te dan un precio y una vez allá, cuando ya es tarde para cancelar o regresarte te agregan. Un desastre. Adicional: había cucarachas en la habitación. Dijeron que para un restaurante japonés había que reservar, cuando fuimos a reservar nos dijeron que no hacía falta, que la reserva era solo si queríamos estar en la barra alrededor del chef. Una vez que vamos al restaurante dicen que están llenos y deberíamos haber reservado... una locura.

Ventajas: Food was ok but still need to improve the quality of the ingredients

Desventajas: The staff was mostly unfriendly and left unsolved matters for a while. Their responses very discomforting. After a few attempts we started getting our concerns resolved.

Desventajas: Travel Club hard selling (time sharing).

Ventajas: Food was consistently good, including the buffets. Never felt crowded, always a trolley to help get around, staff always eager and helpful

Desventajas: Petty complaint, but there is No elevator to rooms. And the beach can be rockey when entering the water.

Ventajas: -The service was great, the staff were always there to help. -Te food selection was very good, there is always a restaurant open. -The beds were very comfortable and the room was very big. -The resort itself was beautiful and surrounded by nature.

Desventajas: nothing really, we had an amazing time!

Ventajas: Muy buenos los servicios, la comida (sobre todo en los restaurantes temáticos) y la bebida.

Desventajas: Limpian el sargazo pero lamentablemente no es suficiente. La mayoría de los días es imposible bañarse en la playa. Por otro lado la limpieza en las piscinas es regular. Mi Sra pisó materia fecal un día, y aunque eso no fue culpa del hotel, al avisar la juntaron con un calderín y nada más.. como si nada. Uno esperaría que agregaran más desinfectante, pero no ocurrió.

Ventajas: El alojamiento si, pero no ha sido todo lo bueno que yo esperaba, varios percances, dificultaron nuestra estancia, y al servicio parecio importale poco.

Desventajas: Algunas personas del servicio dejo mucho que desear, cuando uno hace un viaje así, espera que todo salga bien, desgraciadamente no fue como lo esperabamos y el servicio les daba igual, cuando uno invierte en un viaje asi no espera estas circunstancias, ni este trato. Una pena porque el hotel es maravilloso, y para colmo el ultimo dia no habia agua en las habitaciones, llame dos veces a recepción preguntandoles para cuando estaría, ya que nos queriamos asear antes de irnos y ni siquiera te llamaron de vuelta, fue el chico de los carritos el que nos comentaba que podiamos asear en recepcion, nos quedamos en white sand los primeros días, luego tuvimos un percance con la limpieza de la habitación y pagamos para trasladarnos a TRS.

Ventajas: Excelente trato de personal Amenidades muy bien cuidadas y limpias

Ventajas: Muy buenas instalaciones y bar 24 horas

Desventajas: El aire acondicionado hacia un charco de agua en el suelo

Ventajas: Es un hotel muy grande y sus instalaciones estan muy bien.

Desventajas: Que no tengan un control de calidad que revise las habitaciones antes de entregarlas a un nuevo huesped, que no esten al pendiente de las inconformidades de los clientes

Ventajas: Personal agradable, habitaciones amplias y limpias

Ventajas: Tiene un lago artificial donde puedes navegar en un barquito muy lindo, las albercas estás muy funcionales La comida está deliciosa

Ventajas: Instalaciones y limpieza geniales

Desventajas: La atención del personal.

Ventajas: 90% of the staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate with your requests, there were a couple of people who were real jerks, but I guess that happens everywhere, the rest of the staff was fantastic. Pool was very nice and kid friendly. The beach was nice despite the algae problem that is hitting that part of Cancun. Plenty of places to sit around the pool and beach.

Desventajas: The rooms did not look very luxurious. No hot water in room, the bathroom had a bug problem (springtails) and they kept coming out of the sync drainage; we had to keep our toothbrushes outside the bathroom. The buffet food was bad, very bland and some of the dishes got us a big stomach infection. We ended up at the hotel Dr. office loosing a day of fun and a forfeited a trip to Cozumel. The managerial staff was the worse, they never fixed any of our issues and in the end they gave me an email address to submit a claim (Jose Cano was the name of the last manager I spoke with). The hotel is very big, so they have transportation to your rooms and all the other amenities all day, however the cars dont have a set schedule and you loose to much time waiting for them. Despite being an all inclusive and extremely large hotel, there is no place where you can get a decent coup of coffee early in the day, you have to wait for the restaurant to open until 7:00 am. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool and beach, and they stuck with the bland nuggets, pizza and croissants. Thinking about it now, my wife and I should have done the same.

Desventajas: The staff can probably undergo better training, particularly at the Acuario Snack Bar. One of the older gentlemen who is a waiter is rude and seems miserable working there. He would pass over our table several times and just glance over without even bothering to take our drink order. I am fully bilingual so it wasn't a language issue, and I make sure to always greet servers regardless of whether it's an all-inclusive property, regular restaurant, or hotel. He was just very rude in general and I avoided asking him for anything. Instead, I would wait for other servers to be available.

Ventajas: The staff was very nice

Desventajas: Food quality was poor, drinks were not good, generally low quality resort that has not been taken care of.

Ventajas: Muchos problemas. La habitacion no estaba disponible. Hemos debido pagar suplementos por las niñas en la habitacion cuando todo estaba incluido en booking.com. Malo funcionamiento de internet. Imposible hacer reservas en los restaurantes a horarios agradables

Desventajas: La comida muy comun y resolver los problemas encontrados

Ventajas: Me gustaron los buffets, y albercas

Desventajas: solo es muy difficil agendar en los restaurantes (se supone que todo esta lleno, pero cuando vas ni se occupan la mitad de las mesas)

Ventajas: Excelente comida, buenísimas instalaciones, buen sistema para trasladarse entre los distintos hoteles. Buenos espectáculos!

Desventajas: El baño podría tener extractor de aire. El aire acondicionado de la pieza no se podía regular. Ambos fueron pequeños detalles de una gran estadía

Ventajas: Building 83 and los chorales was nice

Desventajas: Service not very friendly, especially in frutas del mar.

Ventajas: The property had a lot to offer families, couples and singles. There’s always something going on. The room size was nice. Request a room closer to the lobby that way you don’t have to walk or wait for the carts. The dress code was more lax than what we read online. The only place we went that we had to dress formal was Arlequin. The rest was casual.

Desventajas: As a vegetarian, the food options were a bit disappointing. In the buffets nothing is clearly marked as vegetarian and there aren’t spoons or cutlery for each container. There’s a lot of chance for cross contamination between food items, for example there’s bacon right next to grilled tomatoes and only one spoon. For us vegetarians, this is a nightmare. It limited my food choices quite a bit because I couldn’t take the chance of getting sick because someone used the tongs meant for the tomatoes on the bacon! Also at the stations for eggs, the cooks do not clean the grills after meat to make vegetarian items. Lots of cross contamination there. This could easily be solved with separate grilling stations and separate sections with meat and veg separate. The servers are overworked! There aren’t enough servers for each section, and we waited 7-10 minutes to even have someone approach our table every day. And not because they weren’t working! They were running around like crazy trying to serve everyone but there just wasn’t enough people on the floor. We felt bad for them. In the a la carte restaurants, the food choices for vegetarians were very limited and in many cases there were no vegetarian mains on the menu and the chef had one option for us when we got there (we had told them when booking that we were vegetarian). Many of the restaurants have similar dishes for vegetarians, even though the style of restaurant is different. Overall the food choices were disappointing for us. In the buffets there were tons of options, if they would just do better about the cross contamination.

Ventajas: Tons to do. The restaurants were pretty much all great. I loved how big the resort was but also the ease of transportation within the resort. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Desventajas: Pool was a bit cold for my liking. There was loads to do but it wasn't very well advertised so we missed quite a bit unfortunately. I didn't like all the mosquitoes but hardly the hotels fault.

Desventajas: we traveled with a baby (I informed the hotel in advance, so they knew), and still, they gave us a room in a 3rd floor with no elevator!! so we had to carry the stroller, baby and all the baggage every day

Ventajas: Very nice location with all the amenities we were looking for! Central location near many destinations. Food was simply excellent. We had family reunion here and 37 booked independently, while we enjoyed awesome steaks, Teppanyaki, and Thai food.

Desventajas: Everything was awesome

Ventajas: Muy bien en general. Lo mejor el personal, espero les paguen bien.

Desventajas: Caro para uso individual y los servicios recibidos , dado que pagas por dos personas. El restaurante Lola es flojísimo en calidad dela comida. No me gustó ver a un cocodrilo en jaulado y menos en un sitio tan pequeño. En el colchón te hundías, súper viejo, por eso sólo hice una noche.

Ventajas: La ubicación es muy buena. Cerca de Tulum y a pocos quilómetros de algunos cenotes impresionantes. Las instalaciones son muy grandes y aunque haya mucha gente no se nota mucho. El personal es super amable.

Desventajas: La comida de los bufets, aunque es abundante es poco variada si estás muchos días. Hay un ambiente demasiado festivo para mi gusto ya que nos agradan más las vacaciones más tranquilas sin tanta música en la piscina, la playa o otras zonas comunes.

Ventajas: Las piscinas estan muy buenas. La comida en los bufets es muy rica y el entorno natural es muy bonito.

Desventajas: Al realizar el check in no nos dieron los brazaletes para acceder a todos los servicios. Tuvimos que regresar por ellos. El servicio de bebidas no es muy eficiente. Hay que esperar bastante para que te vuelvan a servir bebida. No dejan entrar de playera al bufet. Aunque haga mucho calor. El tapón de la pileta del baño de la habitación se trancó.

Ventajas: Conocimos a José en el bar Iguana. Dirige su bar increíblemente. Hizo que todo el mundo disfrutara de la visita. Un barman profesional que destaca en lo que hace. Esperamos ver a José otra vez en nuestra próxima visita.

Ventajas: Cost was good for exploring the area.

Desventajas: Distance from Tulum. Taxi fees added up on excursions to beach as the hotel beach was all rock and wall. Place was a maze so I ended up wandering aimlessly looking for the beach...which was a bit of a disappointment. For a family, this would be great. For somebody that wants to sit on the beach and explore - pay a bit more and stay either in the hotel zone of tulum or la Puebla. You’ll spend the difference in taxis within a day or two unless you take the collectivo.

Ventajas: Very well organised, good food, nice beach, good logistics with trolleys everywhere if you didn't want to walk. Entertainment in the evening ok. Great service after check out as you can still eat and even have a shower before late afternoon journey. Service in a la carte restaurants very good. Overall we were happy with our 6 days here, thank you.

Desventajas: Huge complex/resort. Beds were a bit uncomfortable. Maybe not enough umbrellas on beach.

Ventajas: The staff is absolutely excellent and very helpful. This is something usually found all over the south of Mexico and the hotels related to their service. The amenities are varied and they have many activities inside the facilities so you stay entertained.

Desventajas: They have a HUGE problem with the electricity and therefore the AC in the rooms (Villas). It seems some time ago, not too recently either, they had a big problem with one or several of their electric distributors and transformers most probably due to the Huge size of the 3 hotels they have together. The thing is they turn the ac of the rooms off at around 4 pm so the restaurants have enough power, then turn it back on at around 10 or 11 pm and that is half way... obviously is not enough time to cool the rooms while we slept with the heat of the Caribbean Summer. This is something that really needed to be displayed before you make your reservations because it's absolutely unbearable to sleep in those rooms.

Desventajas: en el buffet principal, el servicio de los que atienden en las planchas de comida fue muy cortante y poco amable, los meseros y servicio de bebida creo que no se dan abasto y algunos alimentos limitados por ejemplo las fajitas de res,

Desventajas: Estuve una hora y media haciendo el check in. Después de eso la habitación no estaba lista 16.30 hr. No hicieron mi habitación un día. Para acceder a algunos restaurantes te dicen que no tienen espacio excepto compres una botella de vino. En la playa no hay servicio del restaurante. No puedes llevar nada de comer. Olor a humedad en la habitación.

Desventajas: Beach was disappointing/ rocky/ small with large barriers blocking view. Far from airport, about 1.5 hours.

Ventajas: Había un montón de algas en el agua de la zona cuando fuimos, y el complejo hizo un gran trabajo de limpieza. La piscina y la playa eran geniales.

Desventajas: La recepción era terrible. Esperamos 2 horas en el check-in para obtener una habitación con 2 camas según nuestra reserva. Al salir, nuestra caja fuerte dejó de funcionar y les llevó más de una hora enviar a alguien que no lo reparó y luego otra hora para que 2 hombres se presentaran y lo arreglaran. El agua en la mini nevera sabía a agua del grifo y nos dio dolores de estómago. Y los restaurantes eran todos terribles.

Ventajas: Las piscinas y la variedad de restaurantes.

Desventajas: Que no había ninguna discoteca en el resort, con lo que las mujeres que viajamos solas nos vemos muy limitadas para el ocio nocturno, en un resort tan grande tendría que haber alguna cosa para después de las 12 de la noche, además los espectáculos se hacen en horario de ingleses, los españoles cenamos a esa hora y no podemos ver ninguno .

Ventajas: Es un paraiso no hay nada que decir mal.

Ventajas: La calidez del personal y la limpieza de las instalaciones

Desventajas: La playa, un desastre, mucha piedra al entrar, y sargazo, el hotel es muy bueno, pero la playa hortible, estuvimos 8 dias y solo pudimos entrar al mar 2 dias, con tantas piedras en la orilla se hacia imposible.

Ventajas: We liked the activities and convenience that everything was located within walking distance. The staff was also great.

Desventajas: Didn’t like how beach was ...very disappointing we didn’t get in because of the sea weed.... very disappointing that the natural pool on the other side was closed off for Palladium clients even though it was filled with sea weed as well.... at the photo pro i really felt disrespected when one of the guys that worked there tried to tell me which photo I chose as I was buying a few! He printed the wrong one and he blame me that I chose that one which I didn’t.... had to be rough with him...he was in a hurry to close!

Desventajas: El servicio muy malo. WiFi se corta constantemente. Se acaban las toallas de piscina. El servicio es muy muy lento. Transporte interno con retrasos de hasta 45 minutos. Listas de espera en restaurantes temáticos aún con reserva. Las bañeras no son de hidromasaje como indica en la descripción. Aún con el todo incluido todo el tiempo te acosan para bebidas premium. No se puede abrir puerta terraza xq te comen los insectos. Un desastre de servicio más acorde con un hotel de 1 o 2 estrellas. Los carritos de traslado pasan vacíos pero sino eres de alojamiento premium no te paran. Pagas un montón de dinero para que te hagan sentir como un paria. Reservamos con meses de antelación habitación con 2 camas y cuando llegamos nos habían asignado 1 sola cama, disponibilidad había porque tras largo tiempo de espera nos la cambiaron. Poca reposición de alimentos en buffets cuando se acaba la primera tanda. Nos querían cobrar la estancia cuando ya estaba pagada

Ventajas: Habitación cómoda. Gran alberca. Comida regular, sin mucha variedad.

Desventajas: El personal no te brinda buen servicio a menos que te vea extranjero. El carrito solo subía a los recién llegados. Poco personal de meseros, espere 30min por 1 café

Ventajas: Staff was really friendly. Equipment was perfect. The yoga class is awesome. Beautiful environment.

Desventajas: The communication is sometimes a little bit hard because not everyone speaks English fluently. Without car it difficult to get anywhere else. There is only a rough parth to get to the beach by bike. Taking a collectivo is a better option.

Ventajas: La playa de arena blanca era precioso, el hotel era sorprendente en su diseño. (La costa de Tulum es magnífica). El complejo tenía todas las cosas que una persona podría pedir en un todo incluido. La comida en el restaurante de buffet era en su mayoría bien hecha, usted siempre puede encontrar algo bueno a pesar de unos "fallos" que difícilmente se pueden evitar en gran escala, como por ejemplo una operación. El restaurante al lado de la playa ofrece un increíble buffet para aquellos que no desean salir de sus trajes de baño. Los jardines del hotel eran preciosos y bien cuidados. El personal estaba bien e intentaron hacer mi viaje cómodo.

Desventajas: Era nuestra primera vez en un todo incluido y no me gustó la idea de que no había personalidad en el lugar. Parecía bastante institucional. También el día que llegamos nos dijeron que no podíamos comer en cualquiera de los restaurantes de especialidades durante toda nuestra estancia. Habíamos pagado por lo menos llegar a algunos lugares diferentes de comedor y tuvimos que comer en el buffet cada cena. Volvimos a la programación de la cena para buscar efectuado pero no sirvió para nada. Parecía que había muchas "reglas" para mantener a los clientes en línea. Había algas secas y la playa estaba cubierta de algas y escombros en frente del complejo. Había que caminar en vasos de plástico, bolsas de plástico, etc, para llegar al mar. ¡Ay!

Ventajas: Muy completo el buffet, todo lo que imaginas lo tienen, el restaurante tortuga de lo mejor, a pesar que no pudimos reservar, Alain del bar del Lobby súper atento nos pudo conseguir una mesa que fue de lo mejor, el gerente del restaurante Joel nos preparo una mesa especial y sus atenciones fueron excelentes, así como el servicio de Pedro en nuestra mesa, definitivamente uno de mis mejores cumpleaños

Desventajas: Los horarios del buffet son un poco limitados, hasta las 10:30am en el caso del desayuno y 3:30pm en el caso de la comida, si no llegas temprano terminas comiendo hamburguesas en el snack bar

Desventajas: Pedí algún detalle en la habitación para mi 25 aniversario y no llegó. En el buffet, hay mesas que les da el Sol, con una lona o persiana podría solucionarse mientras se pasa el Sol.

Desventajas: El servicio no es bueno , los alimentos de muy mala calidad, la mayoría de las veces cruza la comida. Las albercas frías y el servicio en el área de la playa es muy malo , nunca te atienden . Es más bien un autoservicio.

Ventajas: Lovely location on a gorgeous beach. The pool is lovely and well positioned just behind the beach. You check in and get a wrist band which then means that you don’t get hassled by all the guides and tourist stuff. This is a popular beach for snorkelling and so there is a steady stream of tourists in life jackets trying to snorkel around an odd shaped protected area. The area of protection is a little confusing but we soon realised all the boats & tourists go at 5pm and then this little beach becomes a beautiful haven to snorkel, swim with green turtles within 10 meters of the shore and eat dinner at the great beach restaurant & bar. Akumal taverna restaurant, just outside the resort was lovely too.

Desventajas: A little dated compared to other places we stayed but for our two nights it was perfect. It’s a bit like a (UK) holiday park, hi-do-hi style bungalows. But pretty gardens, great air con and friendly staff.

Ventajas: El desayuno no es abundante pero suficiente. Las habitaciones limpias, amplias y cómodas, considerando que esta en la playa. Está en buena ubicación en Akumal. Cerca a supermercado y restaurantes. Facilidad en los servicios de buceo. Pudimos ver a las tortugas en el buceo, aparte de calamares, rayas y langostas.

Desventajas: La playa estuvo son sargazo, pero fue por la movida del mar. No lo pudimos gozar totalmente. Mucho viento. La comida no es tan buena.

Ventajas: Location - right on Akumal beach, every time I got in the water I saw at least 3 beautiful sea turtles

Ventajas: Very friendly people who try to help you with everything, they give you tips and tricks for all the things you are planning on doing. Their english is exceptionally good. There are two pools and the rooms are clean and big. The park has a very nice appearance and you can see that the owners did their best to make it as lovely as possible.

Desventajas: As you can expect with a camp in the jungle, it was 2 km from akumal and there we Iguanas and insects during the night. No worries, there are no insects in your room if you keep the windows shut.

Ventajas: Entorno increíble en medio de la selva. Aire acondicionado perfecto. David y Sandra unos anfitriones muy buenos, dispuestos a ayudar y a dar indicaciones. Incluso David nos llevó en coche a la estación de autobuses. Muy buena gente!!!

Desventajas: No nos llegaba bien el wifi a la habitación. Faltaba algun utensilio de cocina. Necesario coche para llegar.

Ventajas: Tranquilidad, limpieza y por sobre todo excelente atención de Dana y su personal siempre comprometidos en hacer que nuestra estadía sea inolvidable.

Ventajas: Loved the location in the middle of jungle, but close to beaches and other attractions on Riviera Maya.

Desventajas: Air conditioning - if there's electricity - is too weak to effectively cool down the quite big building. During our 4 days stay, there were 2 days with power outage, which supposedly happen in this area. One day there was no electricity (therefore no water) from 5pm to 11pm. There was no backup (even just for lighting) or battery lights provided. We were fortunate to have own headlights. Slow WiFi - we ended up using an AT&T hotspot for most of the time, there's a very good signal in this area. One more thing that didn't bother us really, but be aware - we had some lizards in our house, I think there's enough space under the door so they can get in and out freely. We found it ok, as they eat mosquitos and ants - there were a few in the house from time to time too.

Ventajas: Unique location beautifully setup. Next to the highway and also in the middle of the jungle. They offer a quite place that is really unique. Comes with the ups and downs of electricity fall out.

Ventajas: The setting is incredible and you feel like you are part of the owners family! They are extremely helpful and supportive of your needs!

Desventajas: The shower was extremely difficult to use to get a consistent temperature despite following written instruction. And the shower spray painful. The shelf above the bathroom sink, which is great, is slanted so items slide off. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans with lids to be able to prepare a meal. But other than that a terrific stay for a great price, with caring observant owners on site!

Ventajas: Everything seriously.. A great place with awsome people working and willing to help you no mather what is your needs. The place itself is gorgeous in the middle of the jungle with nice pools and the room is big with all the utility's needed. They even put a little self serve and pay after basket with coffee, popcorn, nuts and more. I'm doing a Yucatan tour and yet they are my best 5 stars so far.

Ventajas: Loved everything about the apartment. We stayed in #1 which is more like a private house since it is separated from the other 3 apartments. Location is perfect, right in the middle of Half Moon Bay, right on the beach. The place was spacious and clean thanks to the lovely ladies from housekeeping and Louis the gardener. We loved the pool which we mostly had to ourselves the entire week. We had a private terrace surrounded by a small sandy garden with coconut palms and a lovely view of the beach. We could park the car right in front of our apartment. There are a few good restaurants in the area as well as a small supermarket and it's not far to Akumal town. It's also an ideal area for daytripping. Places like Xelha, Tulum, Dos Ojos, Cobá and Muyil are all very close.

Ventajas: Staff was well prepared for our arrival. Check in only took a few minutes.

Desventajas: Nothing.

Ventajas: La casa estuvo bien, amplia linda vista

Desventajas: Es una casa que le han hecho el mínimo de mantenimiento, todo muy antiguo, hubo mucho sargazo acumulado que solo limpiaron un día antes de irnos de la casa, el olor a podrido era insoportable.

Ventajas: La ubicación .La terraza che baja directamente a la piscina. Los ambientes muy amplios.

Desventajas: Falta de aire acondicionado en planta baja, zona living comedor.

Ventajas: Great location! We had a lovely stay in Akumal. The apartments are very spacious, quiet, clean and there is a nice swimming pool. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. They did all they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Also a big compliment to the men who clean the beaches. We were able to see the little turtles hatch and make their way to the sea, amazing!

Ventajas: Location was quiet. House was clean and the decor/style fit the Mexico vibe. Good food nearby. Mini market only a 2 minute walk away. Susana (our maid) and Louis the gardner did a fantastic job keeping the condo & grounds neat and clean!

Desventajas: Beds and couches were hard. Half Moon Bay should be renamed Seaweed Bay. There is so much piled up you cannot walk to Buena Vida on the beach even though it is only 100 yards away. A great trip went south on our last day. That was when the resort manager (David) banged on our door at 8:00AM and tried to get us to pack up early so he could give our condo to some new guests who showed up early, (even though the other 3 units were empty). Unbelievably, he tried to convince us the airline had changed our departure time to 90 minutes earlier than scheduled. This was a lie of course. We watched the new group move into our condo (#1) as we drove away even though they had rented #4. David treated us well all week until this last incident. But, this last stunt put a huge damper on the whole trip.
