I then switched to Kayak and located this same flight (as I wanted to travel together with them), and it was for approximately same price. Upon check-in I was told it would cost $120 to check my luggage in (which I reluctantly paid). They indicated my ticket did not include this. I later discussed this with my two travelers and their check-in luggage plus a meal were included with their Expedia (Virgin Australia) ticket. Why was my Kayak (Virgin Australia) ticket so different from Expedia when our bookings were done about the same time? I no longer trust Kayak for future bookings."

I felt disappointment that Air New Zealand separates parties and leaves room for uncomfortable situations. I really did not know what to do in this scenario, I paid for that seat but was in a way forced to give it a away without any refund in order to avoid 12 hours seating with some stranger's wife."

Economy seats are pretty narrow. I am of average size and I was often bumping and being bumped by the passenger in the adjacent seat as well as by people walking up and down the aisle."

My flight was interrupted by a medical emergency. We had to backtrack to the nearest airport, which added several hours to the flight. This meant a very long day for both passengers and crew. Potentially a more honest and realistic delay of 4-5 hour shift initially would've been more comforting than being told 5 times our flight is delayed yet once again."

Overall decent flight, but then we got diverted. Some positive shout outs to those who worked to make an unfortunate event better: Texas Aero Services and the 20 year olds at the desk were given a challenging and difficult situation which they would not be expected to prepare for and did a decent job. It was a tough spot for them and what Sun Country did to them was extremely unfair and unprofessional. These young men gave credit to the dispatcher at Sun Country who attempted to call up to the CEO, unfortunately he was not empowered enough to take care of the situation. Several star players here, but the team failed. Thanks to Waco Police and the staff at Whataburger for spinning up hundreds of meals in short order beyond the midnight hour. Desventajas: "Our flight, Sun Country 550 from MSP to DFW diverted to Waco, TX. While unfortunate weather diverts happen, the airline failed to own the situation. The airline was ad hoc and did not have a plan to take care and comfort customers in an unfortunate event. With the lack of communication, I am concerned how this airline would respond in an elevated scenario. The pilot told us we had the option to deplane. After he stepped off, the flight attendant provided conflicting direction that we would all deplane and there was no option to deplane confusing passengers (crew coordination, who's in charge?). Maybe an hour later the plane and crew take off leaving all 150+ pax at what was essentially a closed terminal. Sun Country left no representation on the scene. (lack of leadership and communication). Local law enforcement and the general aviation terminal staff picked up where they could. Sun Country made valid statements with respect to FAA/TSA regulations, but they also blamed the local shuttle company for "not cooperating". The company repeatedly deflected ownership. With regards to ground transportation, we expected that it would arrive within a reasonable time (30 minutes) after deplaning. That turned into hours. I understand bus drivers have a certain fee for getting out of bed at 2AM. Sun Country, as some of us were getting a little stir crazy, I was able to call a local 24/7 hour limo service. They could be at the terminals in short order. For $750, we would get 1 limo, 22 pax from Waco to DFW. Speaking with them, moving 150 people was fairly simple. Sun Country, please try harder. For your new CEO, study this incident and you can see what you need to fix at your company. The most tragic thing I witnessed was a pregnant mother, with lap child experiencing morning sickness in front of everyone at the terminal. What angers me is no one from Sun Country was there to see or comfort her. Those people were in bed or unavailable. There were multiple failures here. In hindsight, it may have been better if the pilot refused Waco and requested Austin where there would have been TSA staff, a standby crew, or more reasonable accommodations. Sun Country could have some contingency contracts with local ground transit companies. There's a lot this airline can take in from this experience to improve themselves, let's hope they do. I would like some consideration for this terrible experience and if this airline cares about its image it should reach out to all flight passengers to apologize and get their feedback to so they don't muck it up again."

Desventajas: "I booked the flight because my previous flight (Spirit airlines) was cancelled very last minute. I booked this flight and then was informed that it was delayed more than 3 hours. I was unable to work with another delay and was forced to cancel this flight within hours of booking it. I was charged $15 to cancel the flight. So I paid for a flight that was sold to me and not on time and then charged for cancelling it within hours. This was incredibly disappointing."
Desventajas: "Cabin temperature was too warm for the entire flight, I asked the flight attendant to adjust the temperature lower. The temperature remained the same, seatmates were also complaining. We cannot remove clothing when hot but can add clothing or blankets when cold."
Ventajas: "Loved the service received in first class."
Desventajas: "I intentionally purchased a first class ticket and selected a window seat by myself but then was asked to switch places with A non-rev passenger so she could sit by her husband. I normally don't mind making these accommodations, but it does seem a little silly to ask a paying-for-a-first-class-seat-customer to move seats for someone who is flying standby."
Ventajas: "From the ticket agent to the flight attendants... EVERYONE was professionally friendly and positive."
Desventajas: "The chicken salad was excellent and the service was great in first class."

Desventajas: "We had to take an escalator down to the ground level and take a shuttle bus to the plane which was out on the tarmac. I don't really know why except the airport they said was busy and the plane couldn't come up to the gate. I nearly sprained an ankle because it was dark and I didn't see there was a step from the escalator platform to walk to the shuttle bus. I have never experienced that before and we have flown Sun Country from DFW to MSP several times before. They don't even give peanuts or pretzels any more and all the other airlines do."

Desventajas: "I never received a beverage service. I was asked by one of the several flight attendants on the plane and I told her I wanted a Ginger Ale and I never received it while other guests still got their drinks."

Desventajas: "Once leaving Cancun, we went through main security with no problems. But as we were attempting to board I had to be checked a second time, I do not feel that this was necessary since I was already cleared by TSA. All they said was this is a random check. I was held so long that my and my wife had to search for over head space for our carry on bags, as there was almost none left. I do not feel that there was any cause for this and made our return flight very unpleasant."

Desventajas: "They waited too long for passengers getting through customs they told us. Therefore we landed 1/2 hour late."

Desventajas: "One of the crew in first class was unpleasant and very rude. She had short brown hair (the blonde lady was very friendly and nice). After letting 15 other people use the lavatory in the front of the plane, and because the carts were blocking the aisles, I also attempted to use it. As I was closing the door, the brown haired lady forcefully grabbed the door and swung it back open and told me I had to use the lavatory in the rear. Since I didn't want to get arrested, I did. When I was gone, she confronted my wife about why she did this and did so in a very rude tone. I hope to never see her again. I may think twice before choosing Sun Country again. If it wasn't for her, the ride would have been decent."

Whe it amd time to board the lead at the ticket counter asked me to step aside and said she can't let me board as I smelled liked alcohol. I assured her I haven't had a drink that day and even if I did why would it matter."
Desventajas: "After much debate then me demanding to speak to the captan as it is his final decision she did so. That capt assisted her that all is ok and to let me board. Once he left she made me wait to be the very last person to board and had two security guards escort me to my seat. I am a professional and consider myself very put together so found this to all be overboard and completely obserd. Thanks for confirming that I will never fly with you all again."
Ventajas: "Sun Country's customer service was amazing. Our flight to Mexico everything went well and we were treated well. Our flight home from Mexico we had to change. My wife became extremely ill and under the direction and OK to fly home from Doctor Gonzalez It was in my wife's best interest to leave Mexico early. On phone your Reservations person was wonderful and helpful in giving us our best options. We followed her directions and when we got to airport the gate agents and , a personal wheel chair person, were amazing . Our wheel chair person for flight 572 - 2/26/2016 was your best advocate of what your customer services is. She knew every phase of the operation of your Airlines. she represented your Airline very well. She loves her job and does her job superior to others. In Mexico they made the process of flying home easy for us. We were so afraid that my wife would not be able to go through the process but they treated her so gently and lovingly and made sure we got home stress free. They treated both of us like they knew what we had been going through and knew just what to so to make us feel special and at peace. I must say your Mexico agents are well trained and professional. They made sure that we were well taken care of as well as the other passengers. We were at the Airport early and I had a chance to view how others were treat, wondering if it was just us that they made feel special, It was not just us they made everyone feel special. I just can not thank your Mexico team on the morning of 19 February 2016 enough. We are truly truly grateful. When we arrived at our home in USA a wheel chair again was waiting for us at the aircraft door to take us through customs and to a cab. Again our wheel chair person again was amazing in making sure my wife would be OK through the customs process. THANK YOU SUN COUNTRY WE ARE VERY IMPRESSED WITH EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR CUSTOMER CARE. Ventajas: "My mother (elderly) and I flew to Cancun from 2 different cities. My flight was delayed and it took 45 minutes to go through custom. They saw my mother waiting at the carousel (our meeting spot) next to my checked bag (she recognized my luaggage). They actually ask her what they can do to help and have someone waiting for me at the custom. I was very surprised when they told me "you mother is waiting for you, please follow me". Very pleased with their services."

I paid for my luggage more than 24 hours in advance online. Website states if paid more than 24 hours in advance, the fee is $20 for one bag. I was charged $25.00 each way. Called Aeromexico and they said I had to send email to customer service. It has been 12 days and still have not received a response to my inquiry."

Desventajas: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."

Desventajas: "Unfortunately, the passenger beside me a young man was over served by the flight attendant and became extremely inebriated so that when I tried to ignore him and sleep, he kept touching me, rubbing my arm and leg. The crew were aware of what was happening and tried to reprimand him. It made my flight extremely difficult and it was all because the flight attendant served him doubles of whiskey (which the passenger was drinking neat) on six occasions, two bottles of red wine and that does not include the doubles the passenger procured for himself from other attendants. In all the behaviour of this passenger made my flight a complete nightmare and it was totally unnecessary for him to be served this much alcohol."
Ventajas: "A long haul flight in coach can be interesting, but the BA staff, as always, were very cordial. Security was great...thorough."

With respect to the Miami ticket agents, there are 3 people I want to highlight for excellent service. Denise, who courteously accommodated our family and rescheduled our flight as needed, another young lady who checked us in. She was sensitive to our party of 5 and was extremely pleasant. The check in process was chaotic at best and she helped make it a pleasant experience. The person is Diane, the manager at the Miami airport. She helped bring order to a completely disorganized check in process and ended up personally escorting us through security toe sure that we made our flight on time. Diane is an excellent leader."
Desventajas: "The check in process was completely disorganized, due to a cancelled flight from Miami to Heathrow the night before. And there were 3 scheduled flights already that people were checking in for as well. There had to have been at least 600+ people in line to check in, plus those from the night before. The Miami airport doesn't have kiosks for passengers to easily check in and bag drop, which doesn't make sense in such a large and busy international airport. That would have made a huge difference in this case. Also, we paid for our seats to select them prior to 24 hours and we ended up not sitting together."

They did not smile and one crew basically yelled at me becasue he did not hear my reply when he asked what I want for dinner so instead of asking politely again he started to yell at me "Chicken or pasta?'"- I think Allistair was his name. The other lady also came across rude to me when she said "You have to speak up becasue I cant hear you!"- sorry, English is not my first language but I think the polite way should have been "Sorry m'am I could not hear you, could you please spak up?" - entertainment needs better selection"
