Ventajas: The location was great!

Desventajas: We felt that the suites were of high quality, however, lacking in small details. There were no bath robes or toiletries and we felt for such an incredible room, these things should have been supplied.

Desventajas: Nothing.

Ventajas: Architecture and its history- a building built back in 1800’s? That’s rockin. Our 2- bedroom suite was spacious, great furniture, fine bed and great sofas. The kitchen is well equipped with everything but no need to cook because outside is everything you need : restaurants, shops and bars. Perfect location when it comes to convenience.

Desventajas: We rented the 2- bedroom apartment. The bedroom that’s next to the Main Street is extremely noisy. Prepare to hear people’s screams and cars engine around the clock. It wasn’t just some noise- you will hear just as loud as without having walls between you and the city. I tolerated it but husband wanted to kill me for not checking that downside... well, I didn’t care, I was prepared to sleep in a museum. That was the plan regardless of the cost. Haha The second bedroom which is located at the back is quieter but still don’t expect a proper insulation in a 132 years old building. For more than €700 euros for 3 nights without breakfast ( we didn’t pick that option coz we like to eat out instead ), and if you have sensitive ears, I can assure you: you won’t be able to sleep in this apartment. I always bring ear plugs whenever I travel so all is good. :-) , but for a one time experience I think you should stay at least for a night because this place is just GORGEOUS! I love the old European charm. The ceiling itself is a piece of art- but that’s me I like to give fuzz on things like this. Not a practical suite and quite expensive for a place where noises are everywhere( you’ll hear your neighbors’ footsteps too ) but sure it’s worth the experience. The host/ receptionist: Irene and Jesus are both amazing friendly people- so hospitable. Jesus’s energy can definitely revive the dead souls from the Nordic world! Thank you guys for having us.

Desventajas: Un poco cara pero entiendo que es exclusivo

Ventajas: For selfish reasons I did not want to give a review of Palacio Salvetti Suites - I don't want it to get so popular I won't be able to book again! It has been the best place I have stayed in for a long time. My suite was impeccably designed for comfort and beauty a mix of old-world charm and modern amenities, the terrace was fantastic to have coffee from the Nespresso machine or a good glass of wine. Staff was wonderful and helpful with insider tips on the best places to eat - they make you feel more at home than in a hotel. The location couldn't be better in the center of the Old Town and close to the water and Alicante boardwalk. I am looking forward to my next stay!!!!

Desventajas: I had to leave :)

Ventajas: Nice apartment in a heart of Alicante. Busy street with bars outside the door. But not too loud to sleep with kids. Has everything you need. Self check-in so no problem if you come later.

Ventajas: Diseño excepcional, ubicación y facilidad par la llegada. Me avisaron a las 11 que el apartamento ya estaba listo y podía disponer de él.

Desventajas: Un microondas ubiese estado muy bien. La tv es Smart pero no te deja acceder ni conectar el movil u otro terminal.

Ventajas: The concierge was amazing..!! He couldn't have been more helpful and he helped to make our stay very memorable.. The next time I visit Alicante I will 100% rebook this apartment.. thank you so much ..!!!

Ventajas: Everything about this hotel is fabulous. The staff were great, and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast on the roof terrace on Christmas Eve was a real treat. Valet parking in a city for only €15 is excellent value. To top it off a gift of chocolates on leaving, and two bottles of water 'for the journey'. A real treat, and would definitely stay there again.

Desventajas: Couldn't sort the WiFi, but as we were only there for one night, I didn't take it up with the staff. I'm certain they would have sorted it out.

Desventajas: The bed was very uncomfortable - it was hard - two singles pushed into one. The pillows were awful and needed replacing. Noise travelled easily from one bathroom to another.

Ventajas: No complaints except for the weather

Ventajas: Het paleis is een historisch pareltje. Magic historical place with modern furniture in perfect symbiosis with the old building and just in front of the cathedral. The roofterras is nice too.

Ventajas: La atención de todos los empleados maravillosa. Te sientes como en casa.

Desventajas: Hay varias opciones desayuno al ser el espacio de comedor pequeño. Pero lo mejor desayunar en el hotel, buena calidad, atención estupenda.

Ventajas: El hotel tiene mucho encanto, el servicio al aparcar el coche esta genial, el personal muy atentes y amables, el desayuno tomamos en la azotea y estaba muy rico al sol!

Desventajas: La ubicación esta muy bien pero muy mal a la vez, quedamos un sábado por la noche y como el hotel esta en pleno barrio de copas había mucho jaleo fuera!

Ventajas: This place is really nice and I would definitely recommend staying there. The staff were extremely friendly, the atmosphere is great and whoever likes art should definitely be there. The room was really cozy, nice modern furniture, high ceilings, comfortable bed. The balcony is also really nice. The place is also very clean and they offered free beverages which were in the fridge (though don't know if always included).

Desventajas: If there are people at reception or there is an event you can probably hear the sound of this in the background depending on which floor you are. I was on the first floor so could hear it.

Ventajas: A beautiful, clean hotel in a superb location. The hotel is close to facilities such as shops, restaurants, bars and public transport. The staff were also very helpful. This hotel would be our first choice if we were come back to Alicante.

Ventajas: Los apartamentos son preciosos. Nos alojamos en el ático (incluyendo el sobreático) y las terrazas son una maravilla: están perfectamente equipadas y las vistas son maravillosas. Por lo demás, los apartamentos son muy bonitos, cómodos, con todo el menaje necesario y situados en el casco antiguo, a un paso tanto de la zona comercial como del mar. Pero lo mejor de todo ha sido el personal, todas mujeres simpatiquísimas, cariñosas y muy amables. En resumen, ¡todo perfecto!

Ventajas: We couldn't fault this property, great position for exploring , close to beach and good restaurants. Reception staff always helpful and friendly. The penthouse apartment was very nicely furnished and had a large terrace to enjoy the sun with a glass of wine. I would recommend this property.

Ventajas: El personal es encantador, son unas chicas muy amables. El piso está muy bien equipado y es bastante cómodo, ideal para familias o grupo de 4 - 6 personas.

Desventajas: Por decir algo, es poco incómodo el llegar en coche, pues están en una calle donde no permiten el ingreso de vehículos y hay que aparcar a unos metros para bajar el equipaje y luego mover el vehículo muy rápidamente para evitar multas o malos ratos, pero bueno eso no le quita mérito al hospedaje.

Desventajas: The size of the apartment was bigger than expected and the amount of facilities was greater - coffee makers, etc. The only reason I did not give a higher score is that some of the rooms were a bit shabby - could do with a coat of paint and some items were a bit tired. Also I was under the impression that terraces etc could be accessed but this was not included. Also the rooms were not sound proofed and I found the upstairs neighbors really noisy - walking about with heeled shoes on, scrapping chairs across floor etc. But I wasn't bothered to complain about this

Desventajas: El ruido, no solo de la calle, sino entrepisos. tendrían que valorar la insonorizacion, a toda hora se oyen pasos y todo.

Ventajas: El alojamiento era regalo para mis padres, que estaban de aniversario. Les gustó mucho la habitación, y les pareció estupenda la disposición de apartamento con la mini cocina y el saloncito para poder pasar ratos tranquilos por las tardes noches. La ubicación súper cómoda, cerca tanto de la playa como del centro de la ciudad.

Desventajas: Me comentaron que el desayuno estuvo muy rico y bien pero les hubiera gustado tener la opción de poder recibirlo en la habitación, como en un principio ofrecía el folleto que vieron a la llegada.

Ventajas: The location of the premises was absolutely perfect for us as we love to walk around the old town as well as visiting the shops! The car park that was recommended was also perfect location and very reasonable for the 24 hour stay,definitely use both again!

Ventajas: Una decoración muy bonita y todo limpisimo, el apartamento olía genial. Antes de llegar Alex me mandó toda la información muy bien explicada para poder acceder al apartamento. Muy atentos.

Desventajas: Escaso de mobiliario, faltan unas sillas (los silloncitos no alcanzan para la mesa) y un sofá, para sentarte a leer o ver la Televisión.

Ventajas: Fantastic apartment, location, decoration. Great beds, excellent shower. Very clean. Close to beach, harbour, old city centre.

Desventajas: Room is quite dark. Wi-Fi connection not too well. Router in the appartement is put of order, general Wi-Fi is working but not strong enough for streaming.

Ventajas: We arrived on an early flight from Ibiza, so I had already contacted the property and asked if we could drop off our luggage prior to our check in time. The staff were so helpful and we was allowed to check in early as our room was available. Our room was lovely, clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location of the apartment was perfect. We loved the atmosphere of the bars and restaurants near by. Lots of people on the beaches (5 minute walk away) in November and everywhere we went was so clean. We took the tram to Benidorm on the Sunday, had a great day. Hotel staff was very informative. Alicante and Luces de Catedral WE WILL BE BACK.

Ventajas: Fabulous junior suite, very spacious, great location, 5 minute walk to everything, sanarium facilities excellent, lovely buffet breakfast

Ventajas: Everything , room was lovely , comfy beds , great shower . Staff very friendly , will go out of their way to help . Lovely location overlooking the sea and marina . Close to all amenities and bus stops just a 5 minute walk .

Desventajas: No milk in room although we had some in the mini bar . And no english tea

Ventajas: 2-star hotel with a 5-star suite. The suite itself was great and perfect for our relaxing, no-agenda stay. - lovely bath tub in the room and lots of space for 2 people. - 2 balconies and large living area + closet

Desventajas: The lobby, breakfast and overall atmosphere in the public parts of the hotel were poor. Lobby was dull and felt a bit like a hostel, breakfast was cold and below-average in taste. The private pool and sauna available to guests of the Sercotel Suites were nice but quite poor/average in maintenance and overall vibe. It was fine for our quick stay in the late Autumn but definitely not somewhere you want to enjoy during the peak summer. - open bathroom not ideal unless you're a couple - the heating came on randomly in the middle of the night in our stay and the room was boiling (more than 30 degrees). we weren't warned that the building's heating was going to turn on and the AC system was telling us the room was cooling when, infact, it was turning it into a sauna! luckily in the middle of the night they did get us a fan, but we would have expected a call from management to apologize.

Ventajas: La habitación

Ventajas: La ubicación inmejorable, la habitación perfecta aunque no teníamos ni el albornoz ni las zapatillas para estar por el hotel y por último, el desayuno muy bueno aunque pondría un poco más de variedad si es que se puede.

Desventajas: La verdad es que la zona del spa dejaba un poco que desear en comparación con otros hoteles en los que me he hospedado. No estaba mal, pero apenas había espacio, en concreto el de la primera planta que comparte espacio con equipamiento deportivo.

Ventajas: La suite junior es increíble, las vistas también y el desayuno espectacular. Personal amable y muy limpio todo.

Desventajas: El spa me decepcionó mucho. Parece que el sanarium incluya muchas instalaciones, pero solo hay una sauna pequeña, un jacuzzi y unas duchas normales. Tienen piscina, pero es exterior, así que en diciembre solo es para valientes.

Ventajas: Location, the bed and the room size. Fit for a King!

Desventajas: The bath tub in the bedroom was great but had a design flaw with the plug. Sadly, with minor body movement it is easy to lift the spring loaded plug, very quickly emptying the contents of hot water from the bath. Practically unavoidable, especially if there is two of you in the bath.

Ventajas: La comodidad de la cama, la bañera en la habitación y la calidad de los productos.

Desventajas: Se rompió una tubería de la planta de arriba y nos cayó agua a nuestra habitación, pero el personal nos compensó muy bien.

Ventajas: The best location, right next to the promenade and the castle hill. Lovely view from the reception area. The outdoor pool was too cold for swimming. But again great views! They let us check in early, very much appreciated after an early flight

Desventajas: The indoor pool area could do with an uplift. Same goes for the gym.

Ventajas: La habitación espectacular, la cama cómoda, las vistas... Además te llevan un detalle a la habitación. Todo genial.

Desventajas: Quizá un poco escaso el desayuno de buffet. Poquita variedad aunque estaba bueno.

Ventajas: Beautiful hotel and the location is excellent! Having a bath and looking out on the sea was a great way to start the day. Superb!

Ventajas: La chica de la recepción es absolutamente encantadora, sin duda lo mejor de la pensión. La ubicación es súper céntrica, en un edificio antiguo, pues la estancia es francamente bohemia. En la habitación y en el baño hay toda una serie de detallitos muy simpáticos.

Desventajas: La habitación individual que me tocó era muy pequeña, y el baño realmente minúsculo. En el baño hay muchos accesorios cortesía de la casa, aunque no había jabón o gel de ducha.

Ventajas: Excellent location right in the heart of the Old Town very close to all the bars and restaurants and just a short walk to the sea front and beach. Our "hostess with the mostest" Caroline was lovely and very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend Pension San Nicholas to anyone planning a visit to Alicante. We will definitely be coming back! Much love ❤❤❤

Desventajas: Everything was perfect but would like to make a few little suggestions to make it even better. Perhaps some English language tv/satellite channels would be a great addition and a fridge in reception area to buy bottles of water, soft drinks, beers etc would be nice. Also some hooks on the bathroom door or wall to hang towels/bath robes would be good.

Ventajas: Good location, close to the beach and night life. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and excellent amenities. Caroline was exceptionally friendly and knowledgable regarding the local area.

Ventajas: Todo, ubicación, relación calidad precio estupenda. Limpieza, privacidad. El trato inmejorable por parte de la Caroline, la propietaria, atenta en todo momento y para cualquier necesidad. La habitación...individual con baño privado muy cuqui, sencilla pero con todo lo necesario y decoración muy bonita tb. Cuando vaya de nuevo a Alicante, volveré a quedarme en esta pensión porque me he encontrado muy cómoda y como en casa. Gracias x todo Caroline. Nos vemos pronto.

Desventajas: Las almohadas un poco finas pero al haber otros cojines resolví el problema. Aconsejo uso de tapones de oido para dormir, está en pleno barrio...zona concurrida de bares y pubs, aunque eso ya se ha de saber. Y no es por el alojamiento ya que he quedado encantanda.

Ventajas: Great place - location can not be better. Room and public area (there was kitchen area for several rooms) just renovated - everything was new. Just around of corner many restaurants but still very quiet room.

Desventajas: There is no elevator in old building. There should be automatic lighting in the hall behind front door. The manual light switch was difficult to find when coming in from bright sunshine. Because it was very old building there was some steps on the hall floor and those can not be found without lighting.

Ventajas: The owner was so welcoming and nice from minute 1!! She allowed me to have an early check in, had a spotless room ready and the location is absolutely great. The room is small, budget and has pretty much all you will need that I rarely saw even in 3 stars hotels. Toiletries, really nice shower, very good wifi, a water cooker, coffee, tea, you name it! Guests also have a fridge available at the reception. The beach may be 3 minutes in walking distance at the most. Greate restaurants around and lots of nightlife options. And again, I'd like to thank Caroline for so much kindness in my short stay

Desventajas: There was a group of very noisy people downstairs, right below my window. Lots of noise and loud talks until late in the night. A pity considering I had an overall really nice stay

Ventajas: El personal es inmejorable y la cocina, estupenda.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y la cama doble es incómoda, es un poco claustrofóbico.

Ventajas: Exceptionally clean, with great staff, Carlos is an inspiration to anyone and everyone. Little bar is comfortable and informal and the tapas are tasty and fresh. Fantastic value for money and very very comfortable.

Ventajas: We have stayed in this hotel many times before and always check availabilty here first when we decide on a visit to Gaurdamar. Parking outside the hotel or in a very nearby street has always been available.

Desventajas: Nothing! This hotel always meets our expectations.

Ventajas: The apartment was very spacious. Plenty of storage space. Facilities for cooking very useful. Hotel located central for beach, castle and museums and not far from airport bus stop. Photo shows view of castle at nihht from rooftop restaurant of hotel.

Desventajas: Breakfast varied in quality but was adequate.

Ventajas: Good breakfast buffet, parking in garage close by, beds are fine, walking distance to restaurants etc.

Desventajas: Rooms are basic and not too big, some street noise, air con or ventilation system difficult to operate. Oh, and a poster of "Paris" in a hotel in Alicante, haha really?

Desventajas: No me gustó las vistas de la habitación, daba para un patio interior. Tampoco me gustó que se escuchase como abrían y cerraban las puertas de los armarios de las habitaciones colindantes a la mía.

Ventajas: It is clean and the location is good

Desventajas: The room was very small, the bed was also small and not particularly comfortable. Furthermore, the location of the room was towards an interior patio. Not good views (not views at all), felt a bit claustrophobic and no light.

Ventajas: Todo genial: trato, ubicación, instalaciones y personal.

Ventajas: A perfect hostel when your on your own. Great community area with a bar and instruments. Super friendly stuff.

Ventajas: Todo increíble! La ubicación, es staff, el lugar, la onda, absolutamente todo!

Desventajas: La habitación no olía para nada bien, deberían ventilarla un poco más. La limpieza en general es buena, pero el piso de la habitación estuvo pegajoso porque alguien había tirado cerveza.

Ventajas: I really like the atmosphere of that place. We had even integration with people from this hostel and from the other one! People from reception were placable and open. The shared space was so comfortable with good music and board games.
