Ventajas: The most comfortable stay set amongst the property’s vineyard and olive plantation. There’s an abundance of activities to learn about the property and its surroundings. People are warm and welcoming, amenities are luxurious, coupled with the most relaxing atmosphere in Portugal.

Ventajas: Truly exceptional hotel—the facilities are unbelievable, the staff so kind and helpful and the food is delicious, all from the farm.

Desventajas: The trail for walking is a little hard to follow but great for an adventure nonetheless. Discovered wild horses and beautiful herds of cattle.

Ventajas: We loved our stay at São Lourenço do Barrocal. The location outside Monsaraz was wonderful. The design was historically rustic, but very modern in all the right ways. I would highly recommend it for a couple getaway or family vacation. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with a comfy bed, plenty of space for luggage and dressing, a bathroom with dual sinks, a soaking tub, and separate shower. The room was very quiet and opened to a terrace overlooking the wine facility and rolling hills beyond. The pool area was amazing and peacefully. With two separate pool spaces, there was plenty of space for guests to be part of the crowd or find a quiet corner to relax. I especially liked the bar near one pool to relax with a drink and soak up the sun. The staff were very friendly and attentive and provided for every need. The onsite dining options were great. I would highly recommend the outdoor grill when open and available. The food was great and can't beat eating under the stars. The freely available bikes for exploring the surrounding landscape was a nice touch. We did a morning ride on some trails to enjoy the surrounding vistas. Also, the onsite spa is amazing. Strongly recommend scheduling a soak in the giant wood spa.

Desventajas: Nothing of note. Only a recommendation to extend wifi to the parking area for GPS mapping reasons to enable guests to drive to local sights.

Ventajas: This place is perfect, starting with the welcoming staff, though the facilities, food, atmosphere till the checkout. Exceptional place.

Ventajas: The bed was the biggest we’ve ever slept in. Total silence, except for the birds. Exceptionally attentive front-of-house staff. Great in-room products. Adult pool area very chic.

Desventajas: Pool bar service a bit slow and forgetful. Some waiters struggled to explain menu items.

Ventajas: Sitio perfecto para desconectar y relajarse. Experiencia totalmente recomendable. El personal muy amable y todo cumple con un 5 estrellas. Fuimos un fin de semana en febrero, y tuvimos muy buena suerte con el tiempo. Cogimos las bicicletas que el hotel pone a disposición de los huéspedes de forma gratuita y dimos un paseo por la finca (espectacular). Si no te gusta montar en bicicleta, puedes hacerlo igualmente paseando.

Desventajas: Quizás la comida del restaurante podría ser algo más variada (principalmente verduras y carnes). No obstante, está todo buenísimo.

Ventajas: Beautiful property. Simple elegance. Food was great and staff were exceptional

Desventajas: The afternoon snack from 5-6...if you didn't make it in beginning everything was gone by 5:30

Ventajas: La belleza del entorno, la sencillez de sus edificaciones y el silencio.

Desventajas: Me horrorizó estar en la piscina y tener que soportar dos tardes seguidas que algunos clientes llevaran sus altavoces portátiles y todos tuviéramos que aguantar su música. Se debe prohibir ese uso en la piscina. Es la antítesis de este hotel. También me sorprendió que pudieran estar con copas y vasos de cristal en el borde de la piscina.

Ventajas: Perfecto para familias con niños!!! Muchísimas actividades, en un lugar magnífico. Muy cuidado y con animales!!!

Ventajas: El alojamiento es muy especial, bonito y decorado con mucho encanto. Ideal para un Finde en familia

Ventajas: This was the second time we have stayed in Monte de Sta Catarina. It has maintained the excellent quality and services. The owners are always very friendly and ready to help you with any question or request.

Ventajas: Super location

Desventajas: Breakfast was poor.

Ventajas: Cleaning, staff, breakfast, facilities and peaceful place. The view is amazing, the presence of exotic animals is very interesting.

Desventajas: Honestly, nothing, but a full kitchen in the bungalow would be 12 stars :).

Ventajas: The view of our bungalow and the location were excellent. The pool was very nice.

Desventajas: Although I love animals, it was a little painful to see them jailed. The breakfast room was a little too packed but it was also high season. It would have been nice to have some hot elements to the breakfast too (E.g. eggs).

Ventajas: It was a great experience. Such a beautiful setting. Lovely rooms with doors to the garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was Excellent and Susanna made it with her personal touch. Do stay there. Great Location to explore the vineyards and Monsaraz. Susanna has fluent English. If you do not like animals not for you. The meerkats, llamas and other exotica make it very special.

Ventajas: Great welcome by Susana. We were a bit early but could check in immediately. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Nice attitude towards the animals they care for. They even switched off the light in the garden so that we could admire the starry sky even better. Nice view on Monsaraz and the lakes of the Rio Guadiana. Would definitely recommend this location for a stay in Alentejo

Ventajas: Casa con jardín y piscina , instalaciones amplias con decoración vintage exquisita . Salones con chimenea acogedores . Sergio su dueño de agradable trato y pendiente de los huéspedes . Desayuno de calidad. Localización cercana a la playa fluvial y observatorio , lejos de la ciudad. Tranquilidad.

Desventajas: Hora de checking muy tarde a las 16h , teniendo en cuenta q es un lugar que en Agosto se alcanzan los 40ºC a esa hora.

Ventajas: Beautiful home, gardens, landscape overall is stunning in this region. Very close to Monsarez sights, wineries and river. Really authentic experience and Host is a wealth of knowledge about area and very attentive to your needs.

Ventajas: It was very refreshing, just like spending a day at a friends place. Beautiful location and property with a personal touch, very cozy. Although short (just one night) it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. We will certainly come back

Ventajas: The place is adorable. Not only it's located closely to several attractions (Monsaraz castle, Alentejo lake, wineries, distilleries, cork plantations, Evora town, observatory, water and motor sport centers), it also has an authentic and inviting atmosphere. The owner, Sergio, is very helpful and responsive. He is passionate about the region and knows quite a lot about it. The pool is a great place to hide from the heat at day and sip wine nearby by night. The breakfast is simple, but very good.

Ventajas: Un trato muy amable del dueño durante toda la estancia. El sitio es una flipada. Espacios exteriores muy agradables y montones de rincones donde estar y el interior muy amplio y acogedor. Desayuno variado con productos locales. Esta muy bien situado cerca de la playa fluvial y de Monsaraz. Echamos un fin de semana largo muy tranquilos y con ganas de repetir. Si volvemos por esa zona no lo dudamos. Totalmente recomendable.

Ventajas: Excellent breakfast (you can eat inside or outside), quite place for rest in the vacation or weekend. The owner is always available for any questions you have, very friendly person, excellent hospitality! Five stars :)

Desventajas: El hotel se define como Pet friendly y nada mas lejos de la realidad, el afitrión no nos permitió ni siquiera desayunar si no teniamos nuestro perrita con nosotros, no se podía dejar ni un momento en la habitación, mucho menos salir a cenar por ejemplo y dejarla en el cuarto.No se disponía en el hotel ni siquiera de botellas de agua que pudiesemos comprar durante todo el día. El hotel ya sabia con antelación que llegabamos con una mascota y aun así tuvimos que esperar un rato para que retiraran las alfombras de la habitación. La ducha de la habitación fallaba.

Ventajas: El hotel es precioso, el trato genial. Nos ha encantado

Ventajas: We enjoyed the laid back vibe of this place. The host was kind and informed regularly if everything was all right. Breakfast was great and the rooms comfortable and clean. The family hotel vibe suited us well (note, this is not a big chain hotel, so don't expect picculos and such). All in all, a very relaxing enjoyable stay.

Ventajas: The view from the balcony was amaging! I could see beautiful land scape and Monsaraz Castle. The room which has a big comfortable bed and lovely furniture was also brilliant. There were a complimentary bottle of water and chocolates. The air-conditioning worked well, so it wasn't cold at all inside the room even though outside was freezing.

Desventajas: It took long time until hot water came out and there wasn't water pressure, but it's not a big problem.

Ventajas: The welcome was very courteous, and friendly, and we were made to feel at home!

Además tienen el detalle de obsequiarte el primer día con una botella pequeña de agua y un paquete de galletas. También hay que destacar el silencio y la tranquilidad que hay siempre allí. El desayuno es bastante bueno y con lo necesario para empezar bien el día. El personal es amable y servicial

Ventajas: I chose Monsaraz as a location almost at random, I wanted to experience the border region on our way south. Wow!! It was a highlight. Dom Nuno made the experience special. Excellent location, beautifully appointed, wonderful hospitality. The views are wonderful.

Ventajas: The property is very nice and cozy. The staff was very nice.

Desventajas: It seemed to me the hotel doesn’t have control over the guests and has a hard time enforcing basic rules specially regarding noise and children behavior. When you booking it’s better to confirm in advance if they have big groups. You may end up being faced with a big group that doesn’t respect the other guests and the hotel staff has little control over them.

Ventajas: Vila Planicie is a lovely place with and easy drive to the village of Monsaraz. We spent some time at the wonderful pool, enjoying a great view of the countryside. The breakfast was very nice. A great place to stay.

Ventajas: A magical oasis setting, with outdoor pool and seating area in a beautiful garden and orange grove across the fence, and the stunning view of the medieval town of Monsaraz just up the hill. Our room was comfortable and cozy with the fridge stocked with local wine. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of selection.

Ventajas: Great villa with the outdoor pool. Very comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes driving to beautiful Monsaraz. Beautifully looking inside and outside. Breakfast was very good. We easily could have spend more days here, if our travel schedule could allow this :)

Desventajas: Es todo idilico, lo unico que nos gustaria advertir es que la zona de la buhardilla es baja y el acceso es divertido para los peques pero hay que tener precaucion. Ellos encantados.

Ventajas: La habitación amplia y cómoda. Te ofrecen una botella de agua de cortesía y naranjas a tu llegada (en la habitación). A pocos minutos en coche de Monsaraz. El zumo de naranja natural del desayuno (dado el nombre del lugar). A nuestra llegada tenían el a/c de la habitación encendido y lo agradecimos teniendo en cuenta el calor que hacía.

Ventajas: Super Nice staff, great breakfast, beautiful location. Basically no extra sound than nature, very relaxing. Our kids loved the pool and to pick up the oranges. Monsaraz is 5 minutes away with the car and it’s absolutely worth one day visit.

Desventajas: Quite some light goes through the sealing which helped our kids to wake up very early! If you sleep normally, you should be fine.

Ventajas: Paula was excellent! She made every effort to make us feel at home (even though we don’t speak much Portuguese). She gave us excellent restaurant recommendations! Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. We didn’t take the breakfast, but it looked delicious! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place, with an authentic Portuguese experience and away from the tourist crowds.

Ventajas: la ubicación para mí era perfecta porque podía aparcar en la misma puerta, que era lo que buscaba. el desayuno genial, variado y enorme, cuando vi la mesa puesta pensé que era para 3 ó 4 personas en lugar de para mí sola. la habitación sencilla pero limpia y acogedora, el baño pequeño pero limpio y con todo lo necesario, incluido secador de pelo. la chica que me atendió fue super amable, no se puede pedir más. calidad/precio=10

Ventajas: Good location - walking distance to the center, clean and comfortable room, everyday service. The host very pleasant and open for any advice and help. Room and other space design with good taste.

Desventajas: Quite loud in the night due to traffic outside even, if it does not look like.

Ventajas: This is a lovely small place with great rooms. It’s very clean and well-maintained. There’s a kitchen area where you can prepare some small dishes (no oven or stove though). Make sure you book one of the rooms upstairs as downstairs may get noisy as it’s next to the kitchen. Great fast WiFi.

Desventajas: It’s not in the countryside in spite of its name

Ventajas: The room was spacious and it was decorated with a really good taste as was the rest of the hotel. The staff was absolutely lovely. Overall, everything was perfect.

Ventajas: Super friendly staff, very comfortable accommodations in a quite location with beautiful surroundings, care to details such as pre-heating the bed with warm water pillow. Will definitely stay there again, if in the area.

Desventajas: A bit pricy for a mid of the week stay end of November, even if the satisfaction expectation was exceeded. The shower towels could be a bit bigger, to the lack of shower robes.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones son muy cómodas: amplia habitación, baño muy muy cómodo y zonas comunes estupendas. El desayuno espectacular!!! variado, completo, y todo estupendo.

Ventajas: El comedor está dividido en dos secciones, una ideal para descansar junto al fuego y otra equipada para ofrecer un muy buen desayuno o cena. El personal es muy amable y cercano.

Desventajas: Aun no siendo del todo mala, la limpieza era mejorable.

Ventajas: The ambiance, the quite of the landscapes, the staff (most of the two receptionist), the really good breakfast, the cute cooker, the beauty of the swimming pool and the surroundings. It was the most amazing and relaxed weekend that I have in my live. 100% recommended for all kind of people. (So beautiful to go with your boyf or girlf, or even with your parents).

Ventajas: Me gustó todo. Cuando llegas al hotel ya percibes que no es un hotel normal, sino como una casa de amigos a los que vas a visitar, porque el personal es magnífico y te hacen sentir eso. Las habitaciones grandes y cómodas, y el desayuno también bueno. Allí es bonito hasta el gato que tienen, que es cariñoso y bonito. Ya estamos deseando que sea primavera para volver.

Ventajas: El alojamiento está bien, la piscina es muy bonita para descansar y pasar un rato en familia o pareja.

Desventajas: La habitación tenía algunas limitaciones de acceso que no se nos notificaron anteriormente haciendo saber que viajamos con un niño de 0 años.

Ventajas: Ubicación, tranquilidad, limpieza, calidad del desayuno y amabilidad del personal. Poder disfrutar de la magnífica piscina el día del check out sin prisas.

Desventajas: Personal muy amable pero escaso, y a menudo dificilmente localizable dentro del hotel. El buffet de muy buena calidad pero escaso nuevamente de personal que fuera recogiendo menaje, rellenando zumos, cafés... Injustificable el hecho de no poder hacer el check in hasta las 3:30 pm por norma del hotel...

Ventajas: El planteamiento en general del alojamiento y pequeños detalles tales como olores corporativos en la habitación, velas en desayuno, apertura de camas, algodón de las sábanas, .....,

Desventajas: Creo que todo es mejorable, pero no hubo nada que no me gustara.

Ventajas: The Horta is a luxurious ranch style building set amongst 800 acres of game reserve and vine with extensive gardens and pool and accomodates either groups in up to ten double rooms or single long or short bookings. The gem is Maria who is a local girl who provides a quiet unobtrusive service to her guests. The Horta is situated in remote countryside but within striking distance of all mjor towns on intrest and close to Evora. A real treat.

Ventajas: Location, staff and rooms are simply charming, the surrounding countryside beautiful. The house is quiet and secluded and yet it is close to Evora and some of the most beautiful locations in Portugal, along the Guadiana Valley. A place anyone should visit and stay in once in one's life ...

Ventajas: El hotel está cuidado hasta el mínimo detalle, es muy acogedor. la ubicación es perfecta, en una finca preciosa en medio del campo pero muy cerca de Monsaraz, La dueña nos recibió con mucha amabilidad y nos recomendó lugares para visitar y restaurantes. El desayuno exquisito. Te sientes, casi, como en casa.

Ventajas: Good hiking and biking trails. Fresh homemade cookies every day, and you can bring with yourself, if you would like to. I have rented a bicycle, and they provided very good quality almost brand new MTB with 27,5" wheels.

Desventajas: The room is very-very small. In the room there is the bathroom divided by only a ground glass. The main road is too close, sometimes noisy. The hosts does not speak good english - a little bit hard communication.

Ventajas: We clearly were not expecting what was waiting for us at Quinta Do Freixo! Fátima and Zé receive us with such a warm smile and heart and treated us as family! Breakfast was TOP! Really Recommend! :)

Ventajas: Fátima y José encantadores. Nos trataron como si fuéramos su familia. Desayuno espectacular. Atención magnífica. La quinta está cerca de muchos destinos que visitar en pequeños trayectos.

Ventajas: El desayuno no puedes comerte todo la cantidad que te ponen y excelente. Los propietarios mucho mejor que los desayunos , amables , cordiales y magnificas personas.

Ventajas: Clean and spacious room, good location to go to Monsaraz and observatory, but you will need a car (no restaurant in walking distance), good wifi and parking on property, very good breakfast and a very warm welcome very the hosts... they care much about their guests

Desventajas: In our bathroom there was a window to the kitchen where breakfast was prepared, it was closed with cardboard or wood, but you could hear everything, didn’t feel very private in the morning

Ventajas: The young woman at the front desk was most helpful in calling taxis for us, making dinner recommendations and dinner reservations for us. We loved the pool area, the breakfast buffet and our room, which was clean and comfortable. The reading lights by the bed were super. We stayed two nights and felt right at home. Great hospitality.

Ventajas: Un todo para muchos todos. Magnífica estancia, con una propietaria, Patricia, encantadora. El cielo de estrellas de Monsaraz sólo es perceptible, lógicamente, de noche, lo que exige estancia. Casa Daterra es ideal.

Desventajas: Irme

Ventajas: The suite looked charming and was in an excellent location.

Desventajas: The place was difficult to find and there was no one there to meet us. A phone number was posted on the door but we did not have roaming on our cell phone. We had to ask other people how to find the host. It was getting cold at night and the heating did not work, nor did the coffee maker or internet.

Ventajas: La cama cómoda, el alojamiento tradicional muy acorde con un entorno de un pueblo medieval maravillosamente conservado y coronado por un castillo cuya visita es gratuita. Paz y tranquilidad para evadirse...

Desventajas: Una mesa màs amplia y sillas para poder departir amigablemente. Una mejor mampara para la ducha.

Ventajas: Everything! Perfect location, great accomodation, the village is absolutely stunning and the various meal and shopping venues were peaceful, good value and pleasurable. Not overly touristy and commercial. Stunning views 360°. I'm moving in!! I loved Monseraz.

Desventajas: There was no information provided to find access key. I only gained access by hunting the keys down by asking other Casa owners!!

Ventajas: Great place in a unique medieval town. You have to know, what to expect: a very old and traditional Portuguese house. We were just looking for that. Though the house itself is aged, it is perfectly redecorated and very very clean. It combines Portuguese traditional furnishing with modern amenities like AC. For us a family of three, it is perfect with two separated bedrooms. There is a small kitchen as well. The major bedroom is large and the bed is very comfy. Patricia, the host is the kindest person and very open with advice and support for a pleasant stay. Our second visit, and it will definitely not be our last. Ventajas: La ubicación me pareció perfecta, en pleno centro histórico. Y el detalle de la anfitriona con pasteles de bienvenida y unos zumos fue un detalle que nos gustó mucho. Muy limpias las habitaciones y el trato de Patricia fantástico.

Desventajas: A lo único que le pondría un "pero" sería al exceso de decoración de cuadros "rojos" en la estancia. El alojamiento es en sí mismo precioso, con la base de piedras y paredes blancas, no le hace falta mucha más decoración. El exceso de cuadros y los tonos rojos cargan demasiado la estancia tan bonita. Con un par de detalles en tonos más neutros sería Ideal. La decoración exterior del alojamiento es de 10.

Ventajas: La ubicación era maravillosa. La casa muy cómoda y bonita. Un lugar perfecto para una escapadita rústica.

Ventajas: Es una antigua casa de pueblo, muy bien rehabilitada, por lo que ofrece todas las comodidades de hoy en día, y decorada con mucho detalle. El entorno en el que se encuentra ubicada es de cuento.

Ventajas: Comfortable, relaxed property.

Ventajas: El alojamiento en sí, una casa de labranza muy acogedora con una agradable piscina.

Desventajas: La dueña -mínimamente simpática- y el desayuno, que no estaba a la altura de un buen hotel rural.

Ventajas: Casa Saramago is a converted farm building that is done in a simple rustic Portuguese style. Extremely homely. The pool was lovely to relax at and nice and quiet. A brilliant place to relax and unwind.

Ventajas: I arrived here late one night during a cycling event and needed to depart early the next morning. I expected this to cause problems but the owners and family were so helpful and accommodating, whilst the quality of the accommodation was not high on my priorities if it had have been I would not have been disappointed.

Desventajas: The fact I was only able to spend a short time here, would happily have spent longer.

Ventajas: The service and the athmosphere. A beautiful, genuine place and a nice porch to eat your breakfast.

Desventajas: The bed was too stiff/hard. It's not common with bedmatresses in Portugal it seems.

Desventajas: La wifi no funcionó durante nuestra estancia. Nos dijeron que hubo un problema en la zona.

Ventajas: Entorno muy tranquilo a las afueras de Mondaraz. Aceptan mascota y esto es +, pero en Mondaraz no eres capaz de encontrar un restaurante donde puedas estar en la terraza con tu pequeña mascota. ¡Qué pena!

Ventajas: El entorno ,las vistas, la tranquilidad.

Ventajas: Beautiful location right outside the walls of the city. Stunning views. Real character. Excellent service and great breakfast.

Ventajas: La casa y sus jardines son preciosos. Mantiene la esencia original.

Desventajas: Que no especifique que hay unas escaleras muy empinadas para subir a cada cuarto. Mi madre tiene movilidad reducida y de haber sabido esto no lo hubiera escogido.

Ventajas: Salvo lo del agua, todo muy bien.

Desventajas: Por una averia no tuvimos agua caliente, toco ducharse con agua fria.

Ventajas: Qué lugar delicioso. El emplazamiento es bellísimo. Esas pequeñas, luminosas y apacibles casas del Alentejo, varias unidas convertidas en hotel. El jardín en varias terrazas a diferentes alturas, donde se encuentra la piscina, es una maravilla. Desde su altura se contempla una vista amplísima y muy bella del Alentejo, como en todos los hoteles encaramados a las villas antiguas de los pueblos de la zona. Todo muy cuidado, la chimenea encendida, las sábanas, la ropa de cama (irrelevante detalle para muchos quizás, pero que yo disfruto enormemente) una delicia. El desayuno bufet más que correcto, con ese detalle del zumo de naranja natural en abundancia, de los bollos caseros, de la degustación de quesos de la zona y las buenas mermeladas. Se puede elegir café de cápsulas en lugar del de "Melita". Zonas comunes pequeñas pero decoradas con acierto. Nuestra habitación estaba en el más bajo de esos edificios, es pequeña pero MUY confortable, habían encendido el split para que encontráramos caldeada la habitación a nuestra llegada. Las cuatro ventanas dan al jardín donde se encuentra la piscina y las vistas son espectaculares. Inmejorable sensación de paz, de tranquilidad, de privacidad. Un pequeño paraiso. Monsaraz, otra belleza alentejana merece mucho la pena, si bien es más "decorado" que otros. Los servicios son los de un hotel básico o un hostal. Alojamiento y desayuno y un pequeño salón. La cobertura no es muy buena.

Desventajas: Para mí el precio es un poco caro. El 7 de diciembre, temporada baja, pagamos 71€ por una doble. En la Pousada Castello de Estremoz 71€ y en otras Pousadas un poco más que lo vale sin discusión. Diez euros más por alojarte en una Pousada con sus cuatro estrella más que merecidas, con todos los servicios y las calidades en zonas comunes, ubicación, desayuno, nivel de lujo, etc., me hacen pensar que la relación calidad precio de este estalagem no es la correcta.

Ventajas: Everything was fine and ok

Ventajas: The location outside the medieval village could not be better! The hotel is on a cliff and a joy to walk around, the views are quite dramatic. Breakfast is excellent.

Desventajas: Difficult if you needed a room with 3 separate beds.

Ventajas: Nos encantó el sitio, muy agradable y confortable, las habitaciones con cama grande, el desayuno estupendo de todo muy rico y con limpieza, el personal que nos atendió muy amable, las vistas desde la zona ajardinada espectaculares. Un acierto total, lo recomendamos.

Desventajas: Solo un pero, la puerta que daba acceso a los dormitorios se abría con dificultad, pero nos sirvió para unas risas.

Ventajas: Bonita casa rural a 1 minuto andando de las murallas, preciosas vistas, buen desayuno. Muy recomendable.

Ventajas: La atención del personal fue muy buena. La habitación cómoda y limpia. El desayuno casero y hecho en el momento excelente. Además era nuestro aniversario y tuvieron un detalle muy especial con nosotros.

Ventajas: El desayuno, la habitación muy bonita, con nevera, muy muy bonito el lugar. Le doy un 10 pero la única pega el problema de la humedad

Desventajas: Había humedad en el sitio, no en plan humedad de casa vieja, pero se notaba mucho el ambiente, las almohadas, las sábanas, el suelo se notaba como con una especie de aceite o algo así, y todo eso por la humedad, salitre y eso, muy molesto con el tacto de las cosas

Ventajas: Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Kindly allowed us to safely store our bicycles inside their garage. Good value. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. We will stay here again!

Ventajas: Room with two balconies: you can sit in the sun and admire the magnificent views of Alentejo in Autumn, vineyards, olive trees, chaparos. Beautiful sunrises to top it all, it is all there. The bedroom is spacious, airy, the air conditioner worked well in cold mornings, the shower has good water pressure. The breakfast room very welcoming with outdoor sitting as well and great coffee.

Desventajas: We liked everything!

Ventajas: The location, in the heart of beautiful Monsaraz, couldn’t be better. Fantastic views across the Alentejo from our balcony. Best sunset of our tour.

Desventajas: The staff were indifferent, unresponsive almost to the point of rudeness. This was a really unusual experience for us. We live most of the year on the road in small hotels and inns, and hospitality like this is quite rare in our experience.

Ventajas: It was incredibly clean and loved the room, location and views. Staff were so friendly.

Ventajas: The breakfast was good and everything was of good quality. The view from the terrace was amazing and the staff were excellant and it is situated with many excellant resturants close by

Desventajas: The room seemed surrounded by bells that rang loudly every half hour, the door rattled in the wind and the air con was a bit noisy. All in all not the best nights sleep, a pity.
