Informal, but businesslike

A friendly host, but the facilities were rather home finished, and below standard. A boiler in the room kept us awake.

It is like a hostel in that you wash your own dishes because the person before you certainly hasn't, wipe up other people's messes from the table/benches before using them, store your food in the fridge and cook it (toast, cereal and eggs supplied for breakfast) and bring your own soap because there was none in the house. I was watching TV and when I got back from the toilet, the curtains were down separating the lounge from the rest of the house, the lights were down low, so I went to the kitchen and it was set with wine etc, the owner said he had friends coming over so I had to sit in my tiny bedroom from 7.30 pm without a TV or radio or access to kitchen. At least a space for guests, when the owner is entertaining, is not too much to ask

Continental breakfast as advertised was infact, help your self in someones kitchen. felt as if just staying in someones spare room
