A scam - not a boutique, not a hotel

Efren was very kind and happy to assist.

This place is not what my husband and I expected---we just needed one night here since we were flying out of Punta Cana the next morning, but still it was a bummer on the last night of our honeymoon. Let me start off by saying that we are NOT high maintenance people, like camping and simple b&b's--We don't need a lot. But this place is more of a hostel than a "boutique" hotel. While you have private rooms, they are very bare bones and ours was dirty. We had stained sheets and pillowcases in one, asked Efren to switch to a different one, and in that one someone's camisole was under the bed. The bathroom had tons of water damage and the ceiling was cracked and moldy. Efren, the guy who works there, is very nice and is doing his job to help people feel welcome. But whoever owns this place is definitely scamming people. Do not believe the pictures--despite the access to pool and beach, THIS IS A DIRTY HOSTEL.
