Ventajas: "Seats rows seemed to be more distance apart than other airlines. Flight was actually done by Air New Zealand rather than Cathay Pacific. Check in at Auckland airport was very quick and highly automated, however, our gate was not posted till one hour before the flight, so we did not know where was the best place to sit and wait."
Desventajas: "Food was mediocre. Coffee and tea were like warm or cold."

Desventajas: "When I booked I chose seats, then the aircraft changed and I ended up with the family split. It would have been nice if they had at least sent an email giving me a chance to select new seats"
Desventajas: "Boarding and take off was delayed by about one hour, with no proactive communication from crew about the delay. Passengers waiting to board individually questioned why we had not started boarding yet when information screens in the airport displayed otherwise. We did not start boarding for a 12 hour international flight until ten minutes to scheduled take off. The first time we were informed about the delay as a group was after we had entered the aircraft."

Desventajas: "Please check your visa requirements is your flight is just a stopover in NZ to AUS (or elsewhere) as I could not return due to unfair transit visa issues in NZ. Have to book another one way flight and pay. completely nuts. I was not warned anywhere till I reached the airport."

No one to tell you early which line and existing signs for economy and Premium do not stand out .. staff need to be on the ground sooner letting people know and asking them which seats to prevent most people being in the wrong queue"
Ventajas: "We were allowed to check one bag for free...that's awesome. And we were provided with two full meals on the flight, more food than we could eat. And even a complimentary alcoholic drink! Great selection of movies. New Zealand Air is one of the best flying experiences I've had"
Desventajas: "They charged $120 per checked bag- none are included in airfare. Also, no free food."
Desventajas: "The staff asked for my return ticket to the U.S. I told them I have a round trip ticket from and to Japan. I have to show them my U. S. Navy identification card otherwise Air New Zealand would not have processed my boarding pass ticket. Air New Zealand discriminates."

Ventajas: "Unlike the American flights, they actually served a light snack (not pretzels and nuts) and offered complementary wine and beer. The ride was pleasant."
Desventajas: "For the economy passengers, we had to go down a flight of stairs onto the tarmac and then back up on a portable stairs to get onto the plane. The same was true when we were deboarding the plane. This has more to do with the airports than with Air New Zealand."

Ventajas: "I have not flown international in a long time. It was confortable and entertainment was great. The only thing I did not like is that with New Zealand air one can only check in 1 bag for free. We stayed in NZ for 18 days. The other airlines let you check in 2 bags. For an international flight 2 bags is only fair. Thanks."

Desventajas: "Filthy toilets at the beginning of the flight. If they were ever cleaned they didn’t get behind the toilet or the walls. The walls stained with something dripping. Paint peeling in toilet. No room at all. I am small and with seat in front pushed back I couldn’t move."
Desventajas: "Entertainment system was old and slow. So-so food. Air New Zealand was better than Quantas for similar journey at same week of year and about the same price."

Desventajas: "We were booked for a connecting flight we could not possiblely have made given we had to go through customs, immigragion and baggage claim. We had to catch a later flight which was then delayed because none of the toilets worked."

Ventajas: "The second I boarded the plane i realised that Qantus Australia practices number one customer service. Every hostess greeted everyone always with a smile and politeness. The crew were simply fantastic. The new airbus 380 was very comfortable and a perfect flight. Amazing."
Desventajas: "The fact that my checked in luggage was lost and is yet to be recovered. Very disappointing, i hope its recovered as i don have insurance."
Desventajas: "Flight turned around after being in the air for two hours. No compensation was provided for the incovinevnce. rebooked on a Virgin flight. I want to be refunded for the qantas flight."

Desventajas: "I think the service of offering passengers to order their food online prior to the flight is nice, but in practice is inefficient and frustrating at service time. We chose not to order in advance as we didn't know what we wanted. I was annoyed and frustrated to have to wait for the crew to go to and fro with meals and drinks to the pre-ordered customers before being offered our meal. I imagine that if the entire flight preordered their meal, it was also not work so well..."

Ventajas: "I enjoyed the entertainment system. Unfortunately, I discovered season 6 of "Game of Thrones" too late to binge the entire season. The crew was friendly-- it was as comfortable as a 16 hour flight in the economy cabin can be."
