I was under the assumption the extra charge would give me a seat with only one extra person next to me. On both flights to and from JFK I was seated in a row with 3 seats and not the last row as promised. Just wondering if a refund for the extra charge would be possible."

Boarding on this last flight... Nov 2 from Zurich seemed a bit frenetic. Passports we checked once again and this seemed to be taking an extra long time. I do like the entertainment selections, but the seat TVs and remotes do not always work well."
Desventajas: "I do not like the cramped space that we are in. It was difficult for my husband and I to get in and out of our seats. The passenger in front of me pushed her seat back and it seemed as though she was righ in my face. She could not go upright as the person in front of her was pushed all the way back. This situation also makes eating difficult. The flight yesterday was extremely warm, which I had not experienced on my three former flights. I guess I will try your airlines once more and see how it is for a third trip."

Desventajas: "the boarding was poor, we waited in line to board and they did not announce to us that we need to have our ticket stamped before we got to the door, as a result we were sent out of line once the ticket was stamped we had to rejoin the line from the back. When i got through they then said something was wrong with my ticket in which they took it and I was pulled out of the line. they should try to the ticket check and the boarding line at the same time"

Ventajas: "The crew on Swiss Air is very welcoming. The food was pretty good and there was frequent beverage service, so you don't get dehydrated like on other airlines."
Desventajas: "The seats decline fairly far back into the next seat. As a result, some of the passengers got agitated if they do not go with the flow and decline like dominoes. Both legs of the flight we had the people seated behind us kicking and shoving our seats. One gentleman was kicking my seat for a couple hours and made a scene on the outgoing flight. The stewardess addressed the gentleman and explained that I had to decline my seat because the seat in front of me was declined. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me, so every time the gentleman kicked me, it not only hurt my back, but my knees. The couple behind us on the return flight jumped the line to get onto the flight, kept kicking our seats and then pretended they did not understand when we asked that they stop. I think the pilot should address the issue upfront so this toddler like behavior does not go on. I am not sure if it is common behavior, but not something I have experienced on an American carrier."

Ventajas: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."
Desventajas: "Entertainment (music and movies at least) was up-to-date but not very interested. Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"

Al salir del primer vuelo Bilbao Amsterdam nos dijeron la B30; alli no era y en los monitores vimos la B06; luego al ver que 30 min antes de salir nadie se movía en el embarque. Vimos que se cambió a la B34. El vuelo se retrasó 20min."
Desventajas: "Ya que existe la app de KLM debería actualizar la puerta de embarque para evitar confusiones y stress. Y siempre la megafonía de los aeropuertos. No comprendo que con todos los adelantos que hay en audio, sigamos escuchando tan mal las megafonías y aquellos que hablan tengan tan mala dicción."

Desventajas: "En Kayak habia pagado un extra para elegir asiento, pero no me lo reservaron a la hora de hace rato check in online, les recomiendo que no lo paguen y hagan check in las 30 hrs antes señaladas y elijan lugar o paguen el extra directo en la página de KLM."

Only had one hour to reach connection. Lost an immense amount of time getting swabbed and patted down. The gate was closed when we arrived. Had to run to the gate. By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."

Desventajas: "Should update video/tv selections (not a big gripe). Too small aisle to walk down. Why do airlines believe that everyone is child size? Not understanding that..."

Desventajas: "I requested an aisle or window seat and was not able to get one."

Desventajas: "I was very uncomfortable during this flight. My seat was broken. I couldn't push it back at all so I was stuck sitting up right the whole flight. My friend next to me in the aisle seat had a broken seat as well. Except, instead of it not going back her kept going back all the way so the individual behind her could had a seat that was in her face basically. I was really disappointed with the flight. I was so exhausted and in so much pain from sitting like that the whole time."

Desventajas: "Menu! Choice was either chicken or beef. To accommodate the wide range of palates out their more choices or a better combination of choices, such as chicken or pasta with vegetables, beef or rice and beans etc..."

Ventajas: "Our return trip from Shannon to JFK was the best flying experience we have ever had. I requested an aisle seat for my 6'5" husband and we were given the emergency aisle. The flight crew was outstanding- Ashley and Hazel could not have been nicer to us. My TV set was broken in my seat but I did not care as I had a lot of reading to do. It was an outstanding return trip from a wonderful time in Ireland"

Ventajas: "Aer lingus in New York finally resolved problem"
Desventajas: "Needed to add my infant son to return leg of flight. He did not need a seat (lap infant) just a ticket. Neither JustFly or Aer Lingus (Dublin) could/would do this. Each said it was the others job. Eventually Aer Lingus office in New York added my son to flight. There seems to be a disconnect / confusion between airline and booking company regarding this matter."

Desventajas: "In Dublin, we were sent to an area for a long wait with no decent food at all, even though the Dublin airport has good restaurants. It probably has to do with U.S. security, but certainly something more accommodating could be worked out. They had an Aer Lingus lounge, but only for business class and gold card holders, so after spending thousands on tickets, we were not allowed in. Guess the "1 percent" privileges."

Ventajas: "It was on time. Going through customs in Dublin. Boarding went smoothly."

Desventajas: "my bags were missed during plenty of time transfer, uncomfortable plane for a trans Atlantic flight, expensive drinks"

Ventajas: "US Customs pre clearance saved us a lot of time at JFK."

Inside the plan was freezing and we end up taxing back to the gate due to a medical reason of a passenger. I asked for hot water and they forgot. I had the assistant light on and waited for 5 minutes before someone came by. For sure I will not travel on Aer Lingus again. I didn't like their food and the movies were old."

By the service of hot beverage,although my fellow passenger with coffee was spilled upon,neither he nor l was offered drink. The both of us were also overlooked at the serving of the snack. The originating voyage,was also punctuated by a large spillage of food by the flight attendant on my leg,with barely an apology."

Ventajas: "Great price for biz seat with all amenities. I was initially concerned I was going to fly the older A330-300 without the new lie flat seats. But was pleasantly surprised to get one of 2 Capt. Kirk seats in 3K. Similar to JetBlue seats, except JetBlue has a privacy partition that slides close. Food was good, not great, though wine choices were quite nice. Wished they had wider tea selection."
Desventajas: "Service felt rushed in business class, possibly because it's a short flight from DUB to JFK."
