Ventajas: "We rode economy. This was on par with other airlines. Plane was clean, Crew was good. On time. Actually seemed that the seats had a bit more room than the American Airlines planes."
Desventajas: "Cannot talk to a human. Check in was at a Luftansa kiosk. If an attendant at the Frankfurt airport had not showed us, there was no obvious way to guess how to check a bag or get a boarding pass. So if you do not speak German fluently, ask an attendant as soon as you get to the check in area, and save yourself some walking and time."
Ventajas: "Great legroom for premium seats. Even though not an emergency exit, bags need to go up, which doesn’t make sense at all."

Desventajas: "My husband uses a wheel chair and a delightful attendant wheeled him and about 20 other passengers to a very well equipped handicap area. There we all stayed until finally we demanded that we be taken to our flight which was supposed to leave in about 10 minutes. When we boarded the plane all the other passengers were already there and I was the last one on. All the overhead bins were taken and I had to put my carry-on under the seat which left me with almost no leg room. By the time we arrived in SFO my thighs and back hurt so much that I was worried maybe I would require medical attention. Which fortunately was not the case. It was luck that I had a bag that would actually fit under the seat."

Ventajas: "Everything. Nothing ever goes wrong when I fly SAS which is why I seldom don't. And if something does go wrong their manners and spirits are high and they make sure everyone is still happy and comfortable. Best service in the airline industry."

I think its pricelines fault because they did not even offer bagage as an option..."

Desventajas: "flight was delay for 30 mins. then another 30 mins because there are 15 passenger that miss their flight due to delay or there is not enough flight to transport them to Longyearbyen the next day. We are force to wait a total of more then a hour to board them and stuck on plane. And ofcuase when we landed. My SAS go luggage is last to come out because the late arrival passengers luggage all come out ahead. It is a most terrible experience I ever had with a SAS flight. Might as well consider flying norwegian airline!"
Ventajas: "Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."
Desventajas: "When I checked in I was told I had no bag allowance and had to pay 70 euro to check my bag. I feel like this was very sketchy on kyaak's part since it must have been on the fine print. I will be more cautious next time. Sas was otherwise fine."
Desventajas: "Booked SAS Go level which included 1 piece of luggage each. At check-in, we were told that is not the case despite SAS' own website saying that it is. I was charged another $320 and I am disgusted with their business practices which revolve around, deceit, lies andl I would even say fraud! There were many others complaining about the SAS Go luggage issue and then having to pay again. I could have gone with Ryan Air for a fraction of the cost."

Desventajas: "During my layover, the airline did not post the gate for my flight to Athens until an hour before, which caused me to have to run across the terminal to another set of gates."
Desventajas: "The SFO crew was not helpful at all. Upon check-in, the SFO to Copenhagen leg of the flight was 2.5 hours delayed. When I expressed concern to the SFO ground crew, they said "You'll be taken care of in Copenhagen" in a very dismissive manner. I noted that we would miss our connecting flight (Copenhagen to LHR) and that there wouldn't be another direct flight that day. The SFO crew member told me that I was wrong that there was another flight available (a 4:30 pm flight). I told her that that flight wasn't on the SAS website and she told me that I didn't know what I was talking about in a rude manner. When I arrived in Copenhagen, the ground crew informed me that there was not a 4:30 pm flight and there never was. To get to London, I had to be fly first to Frankfurt then to London on another airline. Overall, this delay cost me over 6 hours. Utterly unacceptable and will never fly SAS again."

Desventajas: "When we booked there was no mention of paying for the checked in luggage. When we showed up at the airport we were told to pay the inflated $75 for each bag. It was ironic since it was 6am flight and the plane was half empty. It left a bad taste for us and we are not sure if it was kayak fault or sas."
Ventajas: "I felt valued. The plane was clean and in good condition. The flight crew and attendants were very professional and took good care of the passengers. It was a quiet and stress-free travel experience."

Desventajas: "1) I had an empty bottle and asked for water for multiple medications (as I had sprained my foot) thinking the stewardess had a jug of water. She opened a bottle and poured a fifth . I said I had to take many pills (antiinflamatory are three) plus iron and probiotics I take. She told me, holding the used bottle mostly full, that if I wanted more , I should buy a bottle !!!! And put it away !!! How insensitive and inhuman !!! I didn't know she was going to open a bottle !!!! Very insulting !! 2) When another stewardess passed by offering food, I asked what did we have a right to and she (only then) offered me tea or coffee (which should have been offered first). They I asked, as in all other flights (short South American flights and USA donestic) if she gave crackers or nuts to which she unnecessarily gloated pointing to the curtain that there , in economic plus , they had everything free ...insulting treatment and unnecessary information ...just like in my trip to Nice !! Same attitude ...it's probably horrible training courses. 3) you'd think the men and women that speak over the loud speaker would have bothered to learn English ...it was broken English and even sounded like babble to me...so I just ignored it ! 3) again no instructions for transfer as you come out of the plane. Had to figure it out asking cleaners ..as my flight was at night again. People below seem to coincide in that they complain of rudeness and lack of re-direction."

Ventajas: "The service was excellent. The food very good. Toilets inorder and clean, even just before Copenhagen. In Chicago i had to wait about 30 min tor a wheelchair. It seemed that noone wanted to go to termimal 5. A very nice young man finally came, he gave me frindly and excellent service. ALIS"
Ventajas: "Even though this was an older model plane, the cabin at least did not feel like an oven, which was the case when we flew SAS to Copenhagen."
Desventajas: "This was a 9 hour flight where if the lights were off, a baby would sleep. Instead, the lights were left on to encourage the purchase of food/drink and airmail knick knacks."

I didn't care about paying, at that pout I would have paid $100 for some water. Seats are RIDICULOUSLY small and when the person in front of you puts their seat back it's impossible to do anything. Forgot having your tray table down."

Desventajas: "The Lufthansa representative in Frankfurt made me check one of my bags, when SAS clearly said I was allowed to have one carry-on and one personal item. This was not a Lufthansa flight, but the rude attendant insisted on enforcing Lufthansa rules on an SAS flight and refused to even allow me to voice an objection. I will not fly Lufthansa ever after this. SAS should have its own representatives who understand customer service at all gates."
