Desventajas: "The issue was not the flight. It was the cancellation policy. I had a best friend suddenly die and I could not apply a credit to future travel on my 4000$ business class seat. It makes me not want to buy through kayak again."

He also apologized on behalf of the crew for our delay and communicated that it was because the aircraft arrived late from the previous flight. I appreciated that clarification."
Desventajas: "Our flight was delayed by 3:15 hours, and our gate wasn't listed on the monitors. Our gate location changed twice, and the only way I found out was by asking the "Kenya Airways Guest Services desk" twice. The overhead announcement of the gate change happened 15 minutes after the boarding time listed"
Desventajas: "Food - the vegetarian sandwich was cheese with a tomato and cucumber. I mean really. How about a nice tasty hummus sandwich or falafel?"

Ventajas: "Kenya Airways changed their flight schedule 48 before our departure. The change meant an extra night before departure and an 11 hour layover in Nairobi before our connecting flight. The KA booking agent provided us with accommodation for the delay and the long layover. We appreciated that."
Desventajas: "We lost 24 hours in our travel. It was reasonable of the airline to provide accommodation during the delay but the night in Nairobi was at a very dismal hotel where the food quality was terrible."

Desventajas: "Flight was sold as a direct flight, but we landed in Bangkok and had a 1 hour layover there. We did not have to get off the flight, but still was definitely not a direct flight."
Ventajas: "after 5 hours of waiting when there was no boarding started at boarding gate we came to know that flight is dealyed by 7 more hours. They provided hotel but it took 3 hours for us to clear immigration and reached hotel and after 1 hours they came to pick us back. there was no support from airlines staff and we were at won. Hotel was just waste because we just use for one hour in 12 hours delay."

Desventajas: "Just a horrible experience from start to finish. My flight was delayed three times, then canceled, rescheduled, and delayed two more times. I was reissued three different boarding passes for my connecting flight from Mumbai and then STILL missed it and had to reschedule again from that airport. One of the most stressful travel experiences of my life."
Ventajas: "Once I got on the flight things were fine, but the process of getting there was a nightmare."
Desventajas: "My Air India and Kenya Airways flights were packaged together as though they were a code share, but when my initial let on Air India from Delhi to Mumbai was delayed I missed my connection to Nairobi. What followed was a bizarre five-hour scramble in the Mumbai airport that ranks in the top three worst flight experiences I’ve ever had. I had already checked in and had a emailed boarding pass, but wasn’t let through security without the official airline printout. Although the Kenya Airways Nairobi flight was also delayed and was still several hours from boarding, their staff was nowhere to be found and none of their 10+ customer service numbers was working. I finally managed to get a hold of a representative over the phone via the airport’s information counter, and she swore that a staff member was on the way to meet me. Two hours and several calls and assurances later, the flight took off without me and the Kenya Airways staff stopped picking up the phone. Then there was a crazy several hours of back and forth as a single employee emerged and demanded that I get a letter from Air India taking responsibility for the initial delay, before disappearing again for several hours. The disorganization, unprofessionalism and outright lies I encountered were frankly bizarre and unlike anything I’ve encountered while flying before."
Ventajas: "This company obviously trains its employees to belittle and disregard customers. I have never dealt with a company so at fault for an issue and so utterly unwilling to make up for it. First, they cancel the first of our 3 flights to Delhi 18 hrs before it is to leave. The flight they replaced it with would leave us 10 min to make the connection. So we went to the counter and they told us they'd hold the plane, as did the stewardess on the flight. They lied. The plane left 10 min before we landed. We were stranded. Also, I got food poisoning from their food. They did nothing to help. They would not pay for the hotel we wanted, when we asked they rudely served everyone else they stranded first. The employee would not call his supervisor or give his name. The next morning i saw a doctor but the stomache infection was so bad i couldn't sit up or walk. The doctor wrote this on my clearance to fly document. I needed to get to India to get better medical help. We presented this to the kenya airlines agent and she would do nothing to help. She had business class reclining seats available but would not upgrade me. Even after everything this shitty airline has caused. Unbelievable. Every step along the way of this nightmare could have been made better, so much better, by some human decency but instead we got rude disregard."
Ventajas: "Once on the flight the flight crew were caring and accomodating."
Desventajas: "Kenya changed my flight to two hours later 18 hours before I was to leave. Making me have a 10 minute connection. Then after an hour in a airline office they promised to hold my connection. When my flight landed on time, they did not hold my connection. So they changed my flight and didn’t follow through on the fix. We would now miss wedding activities and business meetings. Then my partner got sick and they refused to taxi us to hotel for the night but take a bus that leaves every three hours. Her sickness got worse and there was a Kenyan airlines doctor who evaluated her at the airport after waiting 40 minutes laying at check in with her crying due to pain. We had a medical release from the doctor saying she needed extra space to lay down but the check in manager refused to make room for her saying the flight is full and she would not upgrade her to accommodate the medical release because we had an economy ticket. My partner looked so bad that the flight crew considered kicking us off but eventually made the space for her to lay down and were helpful on the flight. This is this disgraceful and the worst experience I’ve had with any company."

Desventajas: "Crew were always in a bit of a rush and cold, Paris airport staff were frankly rude sometimes"
Ventajas: "The flight itself was fine, no issues with that."
Desventajas: "Had a long layover in Addis, schedule should be better. But with more than 6 hr layover, they still lost my bag. No one contacted me when it made it to the airport. The site did not reflect it either. I left work on the second day to go check and there it was, under a few other bags, which gave the impression it had been there waiting a day already. Going to try and avoid Kenya airways in the future if possible."

Ventajas: "I got moved to a different airline and was not notified so when I got there over 2 hours early for KENYA FLIGHT I was hustled and bustled and BUSSED TO A DIFERENT TERMINAL at Dubai airport, then chastise, harangued and insulted by new airline staff for being "Late" and they couldn't guarantee I would make the flight. I it on board and someone else was in my seat. HE. Got bumped to first class..."

Ventajas: "The flight was short."
Desventajas: "There was no clarity on baggage allowance on either leg of the flight. This created a situation in which I was charged two different amounts of extra baggage and given bad information on both the departure and return trip. It was also unclear that, though we'd purchased a Kenyan Airlines round-trip between Nairobi and Zanzibar, the outbound leg was operated by Precision Air. This was not indicated on our e-tickets. We found out at the airport."
Ventajas: "Overall it was fine. However there were some downsides..."
Desventajas: "One of our bags didn't make it. Also, the plane left late for some reason. We weren't sure why they didn't start letting us board sooner. Finally, the airport in Nairobi is dangerous when early morning planes arrive. Arriving passengers who are in transit are ushered down an escalator where they are pushed into one another because of a security line backup...yet the escalator just keeps bringing more people. This happened to us in Nairobi in the early morning of July 26 and again in the early morning of August 2. I feared someone would be trampled or hurt."
Desventajas: "The airline doesn't accept payments for changing flights over the phone. I arrived at Lilongwe airport and they said I couldn't pay them there and that I should pay in Nairobi. The plane was of course late leaving Malawi and when I arrived in Nairobi, the plane was getting ready to leave. The customer service line had +20 people in it. I waited my turn then the agent said it was my fault that I missed the flight and the next flight would be $243 USD instead of $90 like the gate agent stated. Then they told me I had to pay the $243 in cash and they didn't accept credit cards. All of the ATMs were broken there. I returned to the agent and they did accept credit cards, they just didn't want to go to the office to swipe it. The entire ordeal took +4 hours. Worst customer service ever."

Ventajas: "My travel itinerary was one with long layover times. Thank you Kenya, Airways for allowing the day use of your lounge areas for a fee. Got some sleep, a wonderful Turkey Lunch on Christmas Day, before my connecting flight to Guangzhou. Smooth Short field landing and take off in the 787-8. No rattling sounds during landing and take off so the Plane must have also been new. Kudos!!"
Desventajas: "Suffered with the unattended toilets. Food for thought, could the toliets on flights be designated according to gender? toilet seat was always covered in sprayed urine( which I wiped clean every time before sitting and using the toilets, made several trips during the 9 hour flight. Hand Soap run out at some point."
Desventajas: "I was originally scheduled on a Precision Airways flight but it did not fly, so put on Kenya Airways flight. Unfortunately my bag didn't make it so had to spend the night without it. It did come the next day, so I was able to climb Kilimanjaro. Don't know which company messed up."

Desventajas: "Services by male attendant very deplorable, lacks courtesy to clients. Old aircraft with overhead TV screens showing only one channel or flight route. In this age and time, KQ can do better for the obscene amounts we pay. Flight plan changed and we were not informed till we entered the plane."

Desventajas: "Captains Landing outbound Fugi Airport Siera Leone and Landing in Accra. The Pilot caused Panic, he is inexperienced. Captain flight 5595 to Accra from Monrovia on Sep 2,2016. Disaster awaiting"
