Also, with 2 hours left in the flight, the flight attendants loudly woke everyone up in the plane and forcefully raised everyone's seats, even if they were asleep, so that they could serve breakfast to everyone. That was an incredibly rude awakening."

Ventajas: "Crew member Alex in the Economy main cabin was wonderful. He tried to memorise as many passenger names as he could as they boarded, and clearly has an amazing capacity to do so. His attitude -- that doing this is worthwhile -- is unusual and highly commendable. He immediately put people at ease. He was attentive, helpful, and very pleasant to all passengers throughout the very long journey. He was a remarkable crew member, turning a journey I had dreaded into one that was memorable."

Desventajas: "To get to the gate for boarding was like going from Terminal 2 to Terminal 7 too far for many people to walk and to eventually find when you are not familiar with the airport, thought for a minute Qantas had not paid their airport duties."

Desventajas: "I previously flew Tokyo to Sydney premium economy on Japan Air and that created expectations. This was significantly worse. The seats were not as comfortable or as spacious. On JL, you have a bit of a barrier between you and the person in the next seat. On Qantas, you very much do not. While this is probably more just bad luck than anything else, the boarding experience was nightmarish with swarms of people blocking every passage."

Desventajas: "Took 2.5 hours to get the first refreshments. While there was some turbulence, when they finally did get the carts rolling there were clearly time management and inventory issues. They recovered and the rest of the trip went smoothly, but not a good way to start a 15 hour flight."

We flew Premier Economy on the LA-SYD outgoing trip; the main difference for our SYD-LA return in Economy was the presence of a 3rd seat in our row occupied by a stranger, so bathroom breaks were a bit of a disturbance for all involved. Still you get what you pay for I guess!"

Moreover, the flight attendants left the food in front of us for nearly An hour after service. I ultimately, in order to use the bathroom, had to remove my own tray."
Ventajas: "The steward went out of his way to accommodate my dietary needs. The vegetarian meals were all given out leaving nothing for me to eat. He spent the time and effort to prepare and bring me a meal from Business Class. 2 free checked bags is also a big plus."
Desventajas: "Felt like a budget airline. You need to pay extra to be able to preselect your seat. The amount of leg room is atrociously small. The 15 kg. carry on weight limitation is a joke. There were too few bathrooms and one was out of commission to boot."

Media hora de espera mas y termine perdiendo el transfer al hotel y tuve que esperar 3 horas mas al proximo. Un vuelo de 2 horas me llevo todo el dia"
