Desventajas: "There was 2 choices for food either pork or chicken But when I asked for chicken they told us no more chicken Then they took the pork from the tray and I had to eat the rest without the main course. Also all the seats were taken by the people who bought the tickets directly from JAL,but there was few seats left all in the middle for people who purchase tickets from travel agents."

Ventajas: "everything. Flying on JAL was a fantastic experience. I'm not much for flying and was worried about the long flight, but I loved every minute of it. The flight attendance were so sweet and nice, the food was great. I would even go to Japan again just to fly with JAL!!!"

Ventajas: "Best service and food among a few hundred flights I have taken so far. CAs were always courteous. They are smiling to each other and looked happy. It was really nice to see that."
Desventajas: "When booking the flights, I didn't know that I wasn't able to reserve a seat until check-in at the airport. Even usual online check-in was available for my ticket. I might have not purchased this ticket if I knew this limitation. It would be nice to know it at the time of booking."

Desventajas: "I bought economy to save money, but unfortunately since I got the very back of the plane my seat couldn't recline."

Ventajas: "Food and beverages were served promptly. Moreover there were several rounds of coffee and tea service so that I never went thirsty. My economy seating was still given first class service."

Ventajas: "Lots of leg room in economy, flat screen, very friendly crew, and this was the cheapest direct flight to Japan I could find 2 weeks in advance!"

Ventajas: "My wife and I made the rookie mistake of showing up to the wrong airport in Osaka but the JAL staff helped us by transferring our reservation to a later flight so that we were still able to make our connecting flight from Tokyo to San Francisco. We're grateful to the entire staff at JAL for saving us a lot of time and money!"

Desventajas: "I reserved Korean air but it was Japan air line. I was really difficult to web-check in to find my reservaiton."

Ventajas: "I was highly impressed with Japan Air's staff both at the gate and on the flight. It was incredible customer service. I get really anxious with flying and traveling in general and was so eased just by their friendliness and organization. Thank you! I also forgot to write a review but my flight from San Diego to Tokyo on June 27 was also amazing. I was really stressed out over some logistics of my trip and the people at the gate in San Diego were so helpful!"

Ventajas: "I have gotten used to long flights on various American airlines where it seems the staff do the minimal amount. Service is so incredibly better on Japan Airlines. Staff respond when you ask for assistance. They smile and work with the passengers. They were actively present almost all the time which was amazing. There is just no, "no," on Japanese Airlines. I loved the media options."
Desventajas: "It has been a while but the food was not as good as I remembered from way back when, or maybe that was Korean Air? It was, however, hot when it should be hot and cold when it should be cold."

Ventajas: "Upgraded to premium economy and the seat was comfortable. However the food was lacking. The snack was a collection of overly sweet bars and bread. The meal was okay."

Ventajas: "The most polite staff that I have ever met. Very accommodating and concerned about our ride over the pacific ocean. I am a vegetarian and forgot to fill order my meal online. The staff was amazing in handling this, offering me everything else they had that wasn't meat. The economy seats were the most comfortable i can remember for an over night flight."
Desventajas: "The only critique that I would have is on the first flight, they took a while to get our dinner trays, but the second flight was prompt. This just be due to my seat being all the way up front."
