Ventajas: "they assisted my aunt very well all through out her flight"

Desventajas: "How about being stranded at Narita Airport due to bad weather AND not helping your passengers rebook. Told us the flight was cancelled at 10:30pm when suppose to fly out at 7:30pm. No trains or hotels available, only way to rebook was through their phone service? Which didn’t open until 8am. Why not rebook at the ticket desk, guess what? You can’t!"

Ventajas: "Food was excellent and service came frequently. In-flight entertainment was amazing."

Ventajas: "The seats were comfortable for economy, but that's about it. Unfortunately, everything else ranged between mediocre and okay. For non stop to Japan, I'd rather fly ANA."
Desventajas: "The whole entire class system that they are beholden to as if we're still living in feudal Japan. Swiss & Lufthansa serves more meals and at higher quality than JAL. The drinks were also blah. JAL focuses more on their Business Class and First Class Passengers. Even their luggage comes in first."

Ventajas: "Premium comfort seats are worth it especially on longer flights; totally recommend. Plum wine is a great add to menu"
Desventajas: "You need to call to reserve seat. Then was told I could only upgrade at the airport and not on the phone, risking to loose the few available premium comfort seats. Old movies. Poor red wine. Food still just okay."

Ventajas: "Japan Airlines gets it right. The boarding was very calm and efficient. The attendants were working the whole flight to make the trip pleasant. Food was good."
Desventajas: "There could have been a few more diverse choices on the entertainment channels but generally OK. The one complaint I had was that it was hot on most of the flight."

Ventajas: "Crew was polite and courteous, spoke multiple languages, they came around multiple times to offer beverages, pilot/staff kept us informed about reason for delay to gate, arrived earlier than expected, usb charging available, bathroom was cleaned multiple times during flight, clean bathroom, and there were toothbrushes/sanitary pads available in the bathroom, and enjoyed that they had Haagen Daaz ice cream."
Desventajas: "The pocket in front had no room to put a drink/bottle. Food was relatively better compared to other airlines but okay. Movie selection was good but compared to other airlines has less."

Ventajas: "The staff was attentive. The seats are comfortable. The in-flight entertainment is great!"
Desventajas: "The headphone jacks are temperamental. If I put the headphone jack all the way in the port it would only play in the right ear of my headphone. On my flight to Tokyo and on my flight home the same thing happened. You has to pull the headphone jack out slightly to get sound in both earbuds."

Ventajas: "It was pretty comfortable for a 14hour flight and all the flight attendants were super nice and very helpful. Different then most airlines in my opinion. Next time I go to Japan it will be with Japan Airlines no doubt!"

Ventajas: "The food is good. The seats for regular economy are a bit more spacious. They also have some deal with fast food restaurants, Mos Burger and Yoshinoya so sometimes you can get their air version of the fast-food meals. I had Yoshinoya and it was pretty good. The entertainment was okay, the only 2 things I wanted to watch was John Wick 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, but the movies change every month so it was probably a bad batch. Also free toothbrushes and toothpaste available on the plane and a self service snack area. Overall it was great."

Ventajas: "The flight was great once we left the ground, however having flown to the destination (Japan) in Premium Economy, the differences in experience were striking."
Desventajas: "The boarding crew seemed disorganized, the flight boarded 30 mins late and so we were delayed when it came time to taxi and take off. The flight had numerous crying babies on it, it was warm and stuffy once in flight, the crew brought you meals you didn't have a say in ordering and having to sit for an undetermined amount of time with the used tray in front of you really made the modest space even more so. I love JAL but this flight was not one of the better ones for me. Not through any fault of the staff, they are top notch, but certainly this flight ranks as just "okay"."

Ventajas: "The crew was always super polite and looked very professional and overall just great. The food was delicious, though the portions are small haha. I had my time behind and I was super late to boarding but the crew came looking for me and they were super nice. Definitely recommend them. Miles better than China Airlines and any of the USA based airlines too. The movie selection was pretty good and the seats were roomy and comfortable."

I was surprised at how often they would go up and down the aisles checking on passengers, picking up trash, and serving small food items. To top it off towards the end of the trip they put toothbrushes in the bathroom so you can leave fresh, awesome."
Desventajas: "I really dont have a negative things to say, I was really happy with the service. Especially since I hate flying this make the trip so bearable."

I loved Japan and coming back to the US on a Japanese airline was the best choice! Thanks!"

Desventajas: "The food on my flight was just ok. Going out to Japan the food was pretty good and I really enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed on the way back."

Ventajas: "Excellent custumer service including cabin attendants' attentiveness and pilot's warnings of turbulence. Great in-flight entertainment. I liked the special touches such as the small snack and water bar available throughout the flight, and the breakfast Kumamon special. Clean bathrooms are very very appreciated."
Desventajas: "The only bad experience was when we were boarding, and I asked whether I could take a newspaper and the business class flight attendant snidely said that it was only for business class. I understand the comment, but her expression and tone were unnecessary."

Ventajas: "delicious meals with good drink selections. cabin crews were nice and have smiles on them all time. I saw crew provided excellent services to a young mom traveled with 1 kid and 1 infant with her mom on board throughout the whole flight which were impressive."
Desventajas: "I believe the air line cut down snacks between meals (my flight were 13 hours) which was little disappointed. Restrooms were not as clean as before although they were way better than other airlines. Crew's English speaking still need improvement. Please keep up the good works! I will flight JAL again soon."

I was not well throughout the entire flight and they went out of their way repeatedly to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, including giving up two of their own crew seats to me for most of the 14 hour flight from Taipei to New York. The crew also made sure that the bathrooms were kept stocked and cleaned. This is something you don't see enough of in other airlines where the bathrooms become disgusting by around mid-flight on long-haul flights. The entertainment systems are modern and designed well for practical use, unlike some other airlines that still have many or all controls situated on the armrests. They use quality touchscreens which control everything including the overhead light and attendant call button. I also like the fact that I could check 2 bags and select my seat without any fees unlike too many other airlines are doing today."
Desventajas: "While the entertainment systems themselves are great the entertainment choices are not. They have very few New Releases and don't seem to update them at the beginning of the month compared to many other airlines, such as Cathay Pacific. On long flights this is one thing that should be given more attention."

Desventajas: "I watched same movies in trips took place in March and in October, EVA needs to update with it more frequent."

Ventajas: "i sat on the exit area and since the plane is not full i have all the seat on my row it means more legroom for me."
Desventajas: "yes, i have a unlimited legroom on my seat and no one is sitting beside me. later after taking off i notice something poking on my left arm, and i checked it was a feet of a passenger behind me. like wtf hello im also a passenger here. passenger behind me are very inconsiderate and insensitive. the crew/staff are perfect just the passenger behind me made it worst. (flight br0030 oct 9 2017 arrived at 10:30 am )"

But then again, all they said was "you need to wait" in Chinese also so maybe they are just not polite in general) They could have had better movie selections Both flights were delayed"

Very stingy with wine (half of a mini plastic cup and takes another round before refill). Those who are on carb free diet should make a special request prior to travel as their food is very heavy on carb and light on protein."

El supervisor Mauricio Velez fue desatento y grosero la única solución que nos dieron fue conectar en un vuelo de Delta que supuestamente salía 8:10 am y con sorpresa al llegar a Miami nos dimos cuenta que era 8:10 pm. Pésimo servicio"
