Desventajas: "Love that they fly an a380 into christchurch - a bit overkill but was told it is cheaper to overnight the plane in christchurch vs Sydney or Melbourne"
Desventajas: "30 passengers on a 60 seat plane. We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO. We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between. Not good enough Qantas! I asked to change and the cery pleasant hostess said no we were NOT allowed. I do NOT understand this."
Ventajas: "A lot of food was served - much more than any flight in the USA"

Ventajas: "The Sydney lounge is amazing and the entertainment options are excellent."
Desventajas: "Inflexible on making food available at times other than when the crew wanted to feed people, making no extra effort, or even acknowledging emerald status."
Ventajas: "We landed safely."
Desventajas: "Crew spoke little English it seemed. Maybe they did not understand my American accent. They never acknowledged my requests and repeatedly would overlook me for drinks or food. When I would give them my order, they would diaappear, then reappear with the order wrong. On. Every. Single. Occasion.... They were rude and dismissive. Food was barely adequate of what I served."
Ventajas: "Entertainment and check in staff."
Desventajas: "Wasn’t able to check in on line. Was asked to pay for seat request on return flight. Passenger put seats as far as can go bashing into my knees (and I am average height. Not very tall), both 15-16 hour flights. It was awful and crew only insist chair is raised slightly for meals. none of my flights since joining frequent flyer were honoured scoring “0” points for flights from/back to US. Back to Delta I guess"
Ventajas: "Fantastic. the crew was very kind and professional. Food was the best airplane food I have had so far."

Desventajas: "The audio headphones had patchy reception. Needed to wiggle the wires."

Ventajas: "It was nearly impossible to get in or out of our seats when the chairs in front of us were reclined. When they are straight up it was no problem. Legroom was ample and the blankets and pillows were a nice touch."

Ventajas: "Were able to create an allergy friendly meal for my daughter on board, even though the information we called and provided ahead of time was lost."

Desventajas: "Bathroom for business class was out of order about 2hrs before landing, were told to use the bathroom in the back of plane!"

Desventajas: "First off the planes I flew on were noticeably old."
Ventajas: "Boarding was smooth and easy. Food and service on board was excellent. No hassle with baggage or hand luggage. Comfortable and able to use my One World Status and earn miles."

Desventajas: "I landed in Sydney but had a Qantas connecting flight to Melbourne. The baggage was checked in at Dallas thru to Melbourne. You need to drop off the baggage back to Qantas after clearing Customs in Sydney. Unfortunately Qantas makes you walk quite a long distance to to baggage drop off point. The experience made me think of experiences I have had in developing countries. I expected more thoughtful logistical arrangements from Qantas in Australia."
Desventajas: "Cramped in economy, little space. So few staff members for economy. Had business on way over and obviously had so much attention"

Desventajas: "I couldn't request a vegan meal online for some reason & once i got to the airport it was too late so i went hungry"

Ventajas: "It was a short flight from Wellington to Sydney. There was no food served but beverages and snack."
Desventajas: "Not much I didn't like"
Desventajas: "The food was terrible. By the time the meal cart came to ou row, all the got meals was out and we have no choice and was served with the cold ham salad that looks like left overs, both my son and I lost our appetite looking at it. The crew didn't apologize and gave the impression that we either take it or too bad. Won't be recommending this airline."
Ventajas: "I had eight flights on this trip. The fact that everything was pretty much routine on this flight is a good thing."
Ventajas: "I got a great deal on this flight, I will look to KAYAK For all my travel needs."

Desventajas: "We were sporadicaly with water and ice from above. The arm rests were uncomfortable and some were broken. Food was only so so and for international flyers, the menu was not able to be fully understood."

Desventajas: "I paid $60 for an emergency exit row for more legroom but I was seated next to a giant who spread over onto my armrest forcing me to lean towards the aisle. Not his fault - he was just too big for a single seat! Food has deteriorated to a cardboard box of slop. Entertainment options were extremely limited in comparison to other carriers. Noisy aircraft, poor quality headsets (I'd inadvertently packed my NC headphones in checked luggage)."
Ventajas: "I was able to make a connection without too much hassle"
Desventajas: "I had a economy plus flight booked and should have been on a Qantas from LA to JFK but due to delays I was put on an AA flight and downgraded to economy. I could have just as easily been upgraded to business - you chose not to do that."
Ventajas: "Fast self checkin"
Desventajas: "Entertainment screen doesn't work. Plane is freezing cold. Crew was very rude and ignores my requests. Never come when ask for service and completely ignores my first request of an extra blanket if possible. Never comeback to let me know if they have one or not and I was freezing to sick. I have to walk to the back of the plane to find someone to bring me a blanket. Yet he tries to cast me off by lying that he could not find one. When he realize that I really need one he said I can take one from empty seat if I can find any. But after me finding a blanket of another color on one of the empty seat he take it away rudely saying that it is "not for you". Come on I wouldn't take it if no one cares about me freezing and he finally bring me a blanket. And the crew was very unfriendly to me the entire time. When I tried to lay down a little, somehow it surprised the passenger who is behind me, the crew make such a scene that ask me outloud "be careful when moving your seat" well I did. Basically they make no efford to care about anything about me but are super nice to the people who's is behind me who are white and elder. Such obviously discrimination that I cannot tolerant. I have been having frequent international travel for the past 7 years and this is the first time I have such unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this company to anyone. be warned."
