They left a note saying I was sleeping when they gave out meals and offered it to me even though we were about to descend. I didn't eat the food, nor did I use the in-flight entertainment, so I can't attest to the quality in those regards."

Desde que llegamos al aeropuerto nos trataron muy bien. Es una aerolinea diferente y con altos estandares de calidad y de servicio.

El pase de abordar marcaba DOH, cuando llegué al aeropuerto me dijeron que mi vuelo salía de HIA, por lo que tuve que pagar un taxi para moverme de aeropuerto. La respuesta de la aerolinea fue: "lamentamos el inconveniente".
No permiten la facturación en línea de grupos. Por tanto al facturar en el aeropuerto terminábamos sentados en filas centrales y esperados.

Ventajas: "The crew could be less curt and more engaging. Coming from Guest Services in hospitality, leisure and tourism it is obvious that body language and sincere engagement stands out. That wasn’t the case for the Qantas flight."
Desventajas: "I was unable to checkin or select seats. Understandably this is governed by immigration laws and not airlines but on three attempts I was able to pay for the seats without a receipt only to learn later that the charge did not go through. A little bit of transparency never costs anyone."
Ventajas: "Entertainment and food and drinks. The recline in the chair allowed for sleeping."

Desventajas: "Need more than 1.5 meals for a 14 hr flight. Plenty of snacks were given."

Desventajas: "Could not check in online or at the kiosk (the flight was part of an overall ticket bought on Air New Zealand). Only one checked bag per ticket, but we had an extra bag because of the international legs. An employee got us checked in, bags tagged, and convinced us to carry on one more bag."

Got leg cramps trying to shuffle out sideways stooped over row of seats in front and rear hitting faces of occupants in my row. Refuse to fly on this airline any more until reasonable seat spacing is provided for price paid. Don't like standing up the whole flight because one cannot get into or out of seat."

Ventajas: "I didn't eat dinner as I was too tired, but the breakfast was good and dinner looked pretty good. For airline food, that is. The staff were very polite and friendly."
Desventajas: "I previously flew Tokyo to Sydney premium economy on Japan Air and that created expectations. This was significantly worse. The seats were not as comfortable or as spacious. On JL, you have a bit of a barrier between you and the person in the next seat. On Qantas, you very much do not. While this is probably more just bad luck than anything else, the boarding experience was nightmarish with swarms of people blocking every passage."

Desventajas: "Not suitable meals for a long flight. E.g. Chili dogs way too messy, garlic bread should not contain garlic! Was charged an additional $35 per seat to get seat assignments 24 hrs before. Then, seats not together & changed again before flight. Why the fee for nothing?"

Desventajas: "I checked the flight prior to going to Auckland airport and all showed on time, by the time we cleared immigration and were in the airport we were notified of a six hour delay due to mechanical issues. I realize these things happen, but earlier notification would have prevented an 8 hour stay in the airport. The seats are pretty close together for a 3.5 hour flight. After hearing a lot of positive comments about Qantas, this was not a great first impression"

Desventajas: "A jacket of ours was accidentally left on the plane, and when I returned 5 minutes later I was not allowed to retrieve it. So I went to flight services to try and retrieve the jacket and they did almost nothing to try and help me get it. In fact we ultimately lost the jacket because they told us that they probably threw it away with all of the blankets and pillows from the flight. That was very frustrating."

Desventajas: "Had a jumpy screen for a while and the headsets were a bit sensitive with the sound dropping on and off. The controls were on the top of the arm rest which my husband kept accidentally knocking. Changing channels, turning up the volume etc."
Desventajas: "The airline used a codeshare that did not seem to signify anything. They would not provide me with any help when it became clear I would miss my connection. Furthermore, I purchased an extra legroom seat and was charged for it twice. Avoid if at all possible"
Ventajas: "Good crew on the ground and in the air."
Desventajas: "The food was the worst long haul food I've ever had - a hot sandwich in a box. Really? For a 12 hour flight?! Entertainment was basic - not bad, but minimal. Seat recline was basic/minimal. If you're a budget flyer, pick a different airline. If you're a premium flyer, Quantas is fine."

Ventajas: "The cabin crew were very pleasant and helpful. Boarding was on time and general flight was good, except for landing which I think was due to the wind but it was a bit like a roller coaster!!!"
Desventajas: "The flight was ok but the seats were cramped with very little leg room. The entertainment was dated with nothing particularly modern to watch. The screen was the old fashioned type and had to be fixed on to the chair in front. There wasn't much information on the flight journey. The food was awful! What sort of snack is pizza and a Mars Bar!!! Terrible nutrition in this day and age and where was the fruit we were promised."
