Normally the crew tries to accommodate and offer some options. But Eric said this was it...take it or leave it. Just so rude and uncaring. No entertainment in head rest in front. Internet was extremely spotty and the charging station would stop after some time automatically :("

I heard our flight # announced once. My husband asked one of the attendants about our flight and they said it was delayed an hour. That was BS. We nearly missed our flight because it was boarding at that time."

Al llegar al aeropuerto de Newark para hacer el check in solo me admitieron el equipaje de mano del bebe, Al manifestar mi inconformidad ya que me suministraron telefonicamente la información erronea, y despues de mucho insistir y hablar con la supervisora, me toco pagar 150 USD por una maleta, cantidad que no tenia en ese momento, y finialmente logre viajar. Al legar a medellin, luego de la conexión de bogota, nows informan que no llegaron las dos maletas. United nunca las envio. llegaron al otro dia. Solicito respeto, seriedad y que me devuelvan el dinero por la maleta que me toco pagar por culpa de la mala información suministrada. Ademas de que me mintieron, se quedaron con mi dinero."

Total salimos casi con dos horas se arrasó. Perdí la conexión. Y el siguiente vuelo en conexión con la misma aerolínea es 24 horas después."

Thank God I always bring snacks on plane rides. MY FLIGHT WAS DELAYED OVER 5 HOURS then we sat on the tarmac as the pilot informed us they were having computer issues (30 more minutes). There is absolutely NO LEGROOM! I am 5'4" and my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. No tv or music either. It's like the Yugo of airlines. I would NOT recommend flying this airline EVER!"

The 3 groups of travelers before me took an unusually long time as they could not understand why they were not allowed to get boarding passes. The CS Manager did direct me to an airline that I was able to buy full price ticket from."
Desventajas: "The same excuse was given to every traveler that was in the line with me. I listened to it explained to at least 10 travelers that day. Since that time, I have yet to hear any positive feedback from anyone that travels frequently. You seem to pray on people that do not travel often. The ticket that was purchased for this fight was bought by my wife. She was trying to do me a favor. Desventajas: "Hidden in the cheap fair are hidden expenses. It was $50 to check luggage and $55 for carry-ons. They charged for everything, including tiny cups of soda. The seats are increadably cramped. My partner and I are both big people and the ride in coach was unbearable. I didn't fit in the seat. I highly recommend taking another airline when flying while fat."

Desventajas: "I wish there was in flight wifi and cvs."

Ventajas: "The crew was great. The head flight attendant was very funny and the rest of the crew was very nice which is refreshing since most flight attendants act as if they hate their job and annoyed they have to serve you."
Desventajas: "The leg room was poor, my boyfriend is 6'1 and he was very uncomfortable most of the trip since his knees were digging into the seat in front of him which I'm sure was uncomfortable to the passenger in that seat. Also there wasn't any entertainment on the flight, I'm use to tv screens on the back of seats, even for short flights to florida. It would be nice to have more entertainment and leg room."
Desventajas: "Folks....this was my first time flying on spirit and all I can say is never again! It all started a couple weeks before the actual trip when I called their customer service number (it's a toll number NOT 1-800) and come to find out their call center is located in Asia. Talk about a language and culture barrier. The individual on the phone was not able to help me out due to their lack of speaking basic English. The trip itself started with a cabin that was disgustingly dirty from the previous flight and yes you WILL get buckled and dimed for everything! Want a Coke? It will cost you 3$. Need a boarding pass? 5$ In fact, to be able to carry on a small average sized suitcase it cost 45$. Seriously! 45$ just to carry on a smal suitcase and that price is just one way! Do yourself a favor and fly with a legacy carrier instead Delta, American, or United). Spirit has horrible customer service, dirty airplanes, and thy will nickle and dime every possible dollar from you! That's all!"
Ventajas: "Once we took off no other delays"

Ventajas: "I fly Spirit with only a personal item and I get a random seat. For these reasons Spirit is perfect and cheap for me! We left on time and arrived 20 minutes early!"
Ventajas: "The aircraft was new and up to date. One of the flight attendants was very rude to you customers. Charging for WATER is reprehensible. Shame on your management for even considering that."

Desventajas: "Everything. Staff was not courteous and rushed me. Charged me for my baggage though I only had one carry on. Didn't offer any sort of in flight beverages. Last time I fly spirit"
Ventajas: "The take off and landing were perfect!"
Desventajas: "the seats don't lean back at all"
Ventajas: "Everyone of your team was always working hard to do their very best. Pilot did a great job, The no frill's flight is just what I need when commuting back and forth to Florida. I have all my needs in both states. All I bring with me are gifts for friends that can fit in my free bag."
Desventajas: "Was about 45 min late for departing, because of snag's in Mn."
Ventajas: "The girl that helped us with our suitcases at boarding time was nice and considerate. The airplane staff was pleasant and had a smile on their face. They were also very accommodating."
Desventajas: "I call Spirit the "gotcha" airline. If you don't plan ahead, this airline will drain you of your funds. Basically, robbery without a gun. Shameful the way your customers are charged for the fees you apply. I now join the ranks of one and done with Spirit. Learned my lesson. Never again! NEVER!"

Desventajas: "I must 1st start by saying that my flight into Tampa from Dallas was incident free. The plane left on time, I felt safe and I was able to get my luggage within a reasonable timeframe. HOWEVER, the flight from Tampa to Dallas was a nightmare! I checked my bag and got to the gate 5 minutes early just to find that the plane had left 10 minutes early, leaving about 10 other people behind! As directed by the gate attendant, I got back on the Tram to talk to the booking agent located where I'd checked my bag. Once there, I inquired on the next flight leaving at 2:13pm. Since it was 1:30 while speaking to the attendant, I expressed my need to get on that plane since it was the last direct flight to Dallas all day. Not only did he tell me I would not make it (I had PLENTY of time and there was NO ONE in the TSA line), I would need to go to Cleveland and THEN to Dallas. Instead of getting home in Dallas at 3:30pm, I didn't get home until 11pm all because the pilot left 10 minutes before the flight was supposed to depart! To add insult to injury, when I arrived in Dallas, I was told to inquire about my luggage with the luggage attendant. I did so, and when I went inside the office & didn't even speak my reason for being in their presence (2 ladies were behind the desk), they asked me to step outside. I did so, and got in line, waiting my turn. Once it was my turn to re-enter the office, I explained my situation and what my luggage looked like. One just stared at me like they had no idea why I was speaking with them and the other seemed annoyed that they were having to get out of their chair to go to the back part of the office (it was RIGHT behind her and the size of a broom closet). They then let me know that they do not have it in the office and that I'll need to go back out the luggage carousel to see if it came in on my flight. HIGHLY frustrated at this point, I calmly explained that I was told it had made it on the flight that I'd missed that morning and that it would be in their office. They worked there, so, I did ask they asked and watched for it to come in on the carousel. 20 minutes later and almost midnight, I watched as bag after bag after bag was picked up until only one bag was left (not mine), making the round on the carousel alone. My ride was outside waiting for me and I had to wait, just like they'd instructed. In my mind, they work there and they would know. Literally, a minute before midnight, one of the luggage claim workers came out of their office and advised me to come into their office because they didn't think my bag was coming in on the carousel. NO KIDDING?! Anyways, they had me come in and fill out an incident report for lost luggage. I finally received my luggage 2 days later only after my mother had to contact the president of Spirit Airlines and I myself, multiple calls."
