Ventajas: Too short a flight that no entertainment is necessary

Ventajas: Nothing

Desventajas: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at 9:00 for a 10:10 flight, and so were not allowed to try to go through customs to make the flight. When we asked if they could put us on the next flight and we'd pay the $100 plus dollars each to do so, as we realized that we were at fault for arriving late, we were told that they wouldn't do this for us because we had booked through Kayak and not through Porter directly. We were then told that we would have to pay full price for new tickets, over $800. I can't afford to pay another $800 and told them so. I realized we were late, but to be told that they could do nothing for us was horrible. They finally said they'd do it after we told them about our horrendous experience with them on our flight to New York, but then wouldn't let us take our carry on luggage on the flight and charged us a further $60 to put it in the hold. We were then told that they could only get us as far as Toronto, (AFTER we'd paid the extra money) and we'd have to find another way home from there. We live in Ottawa, that's a 6 hour drive, and neither I nor my son drive. It was an absolute nightmare getting back from Toronto, and we didn't get home until 1:00 a.m. Shame on you Kayak and Porter airlines. Our flight to New York was a nightmare (see my other email) and so was our flight home. I know you won't do anything about this and don't care about your customers, but I can assure you that I will be posting as many negative things that I can on social media, and will tell everyone I know never to fly with Porter airlines. Shame on you.

Desventajas: No carry on baggage fee

Ventajas: Bunch of crooks gave me the wrong time. Missed my flight

Desventajas: Getting correct to information

Ventajas: It was fine the next leg of the trip was cancelled

Ventajas: Nothing

Desventajas: Flight delay over 7 hours

Desventajas: The experience was excellent.

Desventajas: No gate when we landed.

Ventajas: The food options and that we were offered drinks multiple times.

Desventajas: Nothing! It was excellent

Ventajas: great job over all.

Ventajas: Made up time on delayed flight. Friendly, efficient and helpful.

Desventajas: Food

Desventajas: I got two basic economy seats and no seat assignment until after other passengers had already started boarding. The gate agent showed up late so it was a hassle to get to the counter and find out where I was sitting. Then there was a long backup on the gang way, and we still couldn't get on the plane. We were delayed sitting on the tarmac for an extra hour, the crew could have given us drinks or snacks then.

Ventajas: Yes

Desventajas: Free drinks

Ventajas: The crew on the actual flight was excellent.

Desventajas: The staff at the Toronto airport was rude The baggage policy was unclear and they had trouble answering our questions. We could have saved a good amount of money if the baggage policy was more clear and the staff could explain it. Using the term "Economy" for all flight categories is not helpful.

Ventajas: getting off flight they didn't tell me at gate checkin that I needed a specific tag to receive my double stroller at the gate upon arrival to yyz. so I arrived with my twins and all our stuff to have to carry one of them and deal with all kinds of trouble until we wereat luggage pickup. HORRIBLE

Desventajas: when gate checking strollers be more clear - I was travelling alone with twin 4 year olds ... to have to carry all the carry on luggage and deal with kids who are tired having the stroller after the flight at the gate would have been extra helpful which w=is what I had intended

Desventajas: Small seat, no entertainment, you have to buy blanket and headphones

Ventajas: Impressive service... amazing crew, very friendly and professional

Ventajas: A flight was delayed due to weather conditions and we had to sit in the plane for almost an hour, BUT information sharing from the Capitan was sufficient and on-time. Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it.

Desventajas: I flew economy and all was good and appropriate to the level.

Ventajas: Information sharing by pilots and crew. Economy class leg room is good.

Desventajas: All good up to the level

Desventajas: Al parecer, después de todo no fue tan barato un vuelo. Tuvimos que pagar por nuestro equipaje en lugar de un equipaje de mano. Y el avión no estaba lleno de pasajeros. Eso para nosotros fue una rifa. No Engañe a los pasajeros para que vuelen baratos con usted cuando les haga pagar por continuar cuando no sea necesario.

Ventajas: That it was cheap when we booked it online.

Desventajas: Apparently it wasn’t that cheap of a flight after all. We had to pay for our luggage instead of a carry on. And the plane was empty not full with passengers. That to us was a ripoff. Don’t Deceive passengers to fly cheap with you when you’ll make them pay you for carry on when it’s not needed.

Ventajas: Great

Desventajas: nothing

Ventajas: Flight once it got to Edmonton was ok

Desventajas: Communications with travelers...5 hour delay! Meal vouchers were given with only one restaurant open and maxed out on space and good items...just a bad situation.

Ventajas: staff very pleasent

Desventajas: delays cancelled flights

Ventajas: All was good, also of note is the flight was not full

Desventajas: The plugs don't actually charge anything... :-/

Desventajas: The Toronto airport has to be on of the most unorganized and disfunctional airport in the world. I have never seen any airport as poorly designed as this one. I would suggest that any traveller try to avoid this airport because I have never had a good experience at this airport.

Desventajas: It’s time to update the snacks, bu thank you for serving more than just peanuts. I was very cold on the flight - unusual, but definitely very chilly.

Ventajas: Crew was great

Desventajas: We had to go back to the gate to correct an interior light problem.

Ventajas: Safe trip and very nice crew.

Desventajas: Something to work on is organizing the flights in order when you are checking in. I arrived and it was a mess, we didn't know where to go and which line to take. Please make sure you put signs so we can follow and be more organized.

Desventajas: Nothing. Perfect flight.

Desventajas: Need more room. Not enough space. Tv was glitchy and didnt work properly . seat uncomfortable

Ventajas: Staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Desventajas: Two worst landings I have experienced. Boarding is always chaotic on Westjet

Desventajas: Even though it was the first flight of the day, WestJet still left an hour late which meant I missed my connecting flight. That meant I also had to rebook my ground transportation an additional cost. Why they couldn't manage to get the first flight of the day out on time, I don't know. This stuff happens, and I am generally a patient and understanding person. That said, WestJet not only caused inconvenience and added expense, the airline had absolutely destroyed my snowboard bag. It was damaged so badly that I had to tape it up just so I could get out of the airport without losing my stuff everywhere. The WestJet employees didn't say anything about the damage, and clearly hoped I would just go away without making a claim. To make matters worse, they only pay part of the cost to replace my luggage.

Ventajas: The boarding process was very unorganized.

Desventajas: The 7:30 flight was canceled.

Ventajas: Cabin crew was nice

Desventajas: always delayed. not very accommodating with cancelled flights

Ventajas: I like their efficiency loading the plane and leaving the gate. Perks of having a smaller plane. Also, the snacks and drinks for such a short flight.

Desventajas: Notifications the night before about departure changes with confusing language that never confirms if check in deadlines also moved forward. So we end up arriving at the airport at the original time to then be told the crew could NOT fly at the original time. If that is the case they should inform us that theee is no chance that flight could leave earlier. Additionally, the flight left even later than we were told.

Desventajas: Email notifications of flight delay are sent too late!

Ventajas: Prompt service and proximity of airport to the city. We literally walked to our hotel

Ventajas: The carry-on space was too small. My flight leaving Toronto was delayed one hour. I enjoyed the free coffee and cookies at the airport.
