But no checkin counters were open. The first check-ins began 3 hours prior to take off. By that time the line was backed all the way out into the main corridor. It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."

Desventajas: "They announced everything in English and Arabic and repeated the same announcement multiple times. The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

Food was inedible, watched a crew member place food she had spilled onto the aisle FLOOR back onto a tray to give to someone as if nothing happened, which prompted me not to anything for an 8 hour trip. I and a random group of passengers were made to wait with no explanation AFTER our electronics were already cleared to go through yet another security check. They said we were selected for screening but all the other people they took before us were screened the exact same way. It was stressful and traumatizing to stand for 45 minutes with no clear explanation. The crew were clearly new at their job or ill trained. On top of that they consistently ran out of food they were serving and was forced to take the vegetarian option when it's not what I wanted. I could not wait to leave Doha and exit Qatar airways. I hated my experience traveling with Qatar. It was stressful and traumatic. I want a full refund. I will also be advising all my friends to never fly Qatar. It was the WORST!"

Ventajas: "I liked the airbus used to fly from and to the USA. On a 15 hour flight comfort is key, and they did their best. The have build little foot pedals to rest your feet on. Meals also came often, and the food was on the better end of airplane food. Crew was also very friendly!"

Ventajas: "Everyone was so personable. We had 4 adults , 2 boys and a baby girl so it was hard to get everyone situated but with the staff on the plane it was just simplicity. All of our needs were met , wether it was someone wanting an extra blanket or the baby needing food or even helping the 2 boys get situated before and after take off . They apparently love babies because they couldn't get enough of ours and were always wanting to play with her and make her smile (which goes along way) and that helped her not feel so groggy on the plane . They know it's a long flight so they get you comfortable even down to giving you slippers and great tasting food."
Desventajas: "The only thing I didn't like was the long flight but that's not the staffs fault, it was inevitable if your flying halfway across the world . the plane had 12 inch touch screen tv with music, movies, games , news , kids entertainment and even how to learn Korean so it it was very helpful in keeping you entertained throughout the plane ride ."

Ventajas: "The crew was lovely and very helpful. They were attentive and constantly providing beverages. The films were nice and a large selection. The food was delicious and it was overall a lovely flight which was nice since it was over 13 hours in length."
Desventajas: "It would have been nice for slightly more space but it is definitely not the most cramped economy class I have sat in. Additionally, it would have been nice to have different movies from my flight to Seoul but there is so much too choose from that this is not a real issue either."

Ventajas: "Cabin crew were charming and v. attentive. Food was particularly good. generous with additionals, food ,snacks,beverages etc. Decent leg room , comfortable seats."

Desventajas: "13 hour from Seoul to NYC and the crew never once went into and took care of any of the four bathrooms in the lower cabin in economy class. On the flight two weeks before from JFK - they did a great job on the bathrooms.On both flights there was no need for the constant interruptions telling us to put the seat belts on. Just turn on the light no need to make an announcements in two languages."

Desventajas: "The check in time to board was very long-understandably that may be out of Asiana's control. The check in procedures at the gate was inefficient-again, out of Asiana's control. Seats were tight-seems to be made for a petite person. I'm 5-7 with broader shoulders."

Desventajas: "Loud children all over, my dietary choices for all three meals were messed up ever though I spoke to three different levels of Asiana employees to verify (due to the mistake on the flight to Korea). When I tried to explain to the flight attendant my dietary needs they couldn't be bothered and got an attitude when I asked for the meal that was being served. The flight crew was unfriendly. The bathrooms were crowded and chaotic after meals with no attempt on the flight crew to organize or redistribute the crowds (unsafe situation could occur). I waited 15 minutes at one point because there was simply no order. Some flight attendants were better than others but overall, they played favorites with certain groups."

Ventajas: "Boarding from Korea ro JFK well organized but had us waiting in line forever. Boarding in Manila by rows starting in the rear as it should be."
Desventajas: "My dietary restrictions were not addressed and I went 8 hours without food or snacks even when I asked for anything else. The flight attendants ignored my friend and I but were very attentive to the others on the plane. Our luggage (same amount of weight) was scrutinized from Manila and we had to leave 10 kg of items in Manila while we flew with the same weight for carry ons. The desk crew was speaking in Tagalog about my friend and I not knowing we understood. One passenger waited in line so long (the one directly in front of us) she passed out. They had us go back and forth 4 times because the luggage was .3 kg over. Overall, the discrimination we faced, the lack of accommodation for non beef/pork options, the lack of customer service and the blatant disregard for my travel group is unacceptable. I should have paid the extra 50$ and gone with a different airline. The savings were not worth the discomfort and the workers were beyond inept."

Desventajas: "The seats were very uncomfortable. Also the spacing between the seats was very close. I usually select asiana because the seating was comfortable and the spacing was adequate. This trip was quite the opposite"

Desventajas: "I had requested an aisle seat due to my recently broken ankle and I was placed in the middle of a 4 seat row. I asked the desk before boarding if there was any possibility of changing due to my ankle, and I felt like the employee did not even try to find an open seat, or make accommodations for me. This made it very difficult to get enough blood pumping through my leg and left me feeling anxious the entire flight."

Ventajas: "The asian food options were excellent. The multimedia console on the seat was also full of options. However, the best thing of all is the USB and AC power supplied."
Desventajas: "The western food options were terrible. They clearly misjudged how many people would order each option. I lucked out, but I heard a lot of people trying to order the asian option but received the western one since they ran out of the asian. The boarding process could be better. They did not use any kind of boarding zones other than first/business/economy class, so once economy class was called there was just a mad dash to get in line causing it to be huge and the boarding process to be disorganized."

Ventajas: "Excellent service, good food, a-380 is very comfortable. Movie selection was lacking a bit, but great system and highly recommended airline."

The legroom was durable--but you asked waht could be better and that point sticks out in my mind."

Desventajas: "Flight in hongkong had a 10 hour layover and I was not helped with the hotel fees. Landing in JFK my flight was delayed 3 times then finally cancelled. I was asked to go to LGA for an 830 flight to PIT. The airline did not help cover any transport fees (IT WAS $14 USD!) Seriously?! And the bags did not get changed to the other terminal. Once I got to LGA my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked for the next morning. The airline did nothing to help me with a hotel or transport, absolutely nothing. I arrived at the airport for the 12:30 flight but that was delayed until 2:30 then 3:30 then 4:30 and eventually took off at 5:30. I was given no sympathy from any of the staff I interacted with. Everyone was rude to me, I did my best to remain civil and did not at anytime raise my voice. Although, looking at other customers it seems if I had made a fit or raised my voice I would have gotten better service. Absolutely ridiculous, I am never flying cathay again."

Ventajas: "It seems like it has little more space than other airline I use to ride for international. Entertainment has more verity to watch. Personally I thought I book the seat within 48 hours but they said it didn't go though but I got better seat though a ticket counter."

Desventajas: "There could have been a better selection of movies instead of movies that appeal to teenagers. Ground staff somewhere along the way (likely in Manila) stole my brand new luggage tags from both suitcases. BUY YOUR OWN YOU THIEVES!!!!"
