Desventajas: "Cattle boarding at PVG was less than ideal. Long wait time between flights. Equipment not as comfortable, but thankfully is was a relatively short flight. No choice of entertainment options and cabin lights were on for the duration of the second flight. Cold meal was okay on second flight from PVG to BKK, could have been better."
Desventajas: "Food was not good. Everything else was just okay."

Ventajas: "Took 5 hrs and boarding was on time, easy to find seat and put carry on away, great comfort, liked the movies offered and food was as actually not bad, I liked the thick noodles served."
Desventajas: "Only got 2 cups of wines and then they “ran out”."
Desventajas: "When checking to see if my flight was still on time before leaving I discovered the flight was canceled. I was not notified or given I new flight. I had to buy a whole new ticket (that was much more expensive then the one I already had) on top of the one I already purchased and now have to attempt to get refunded"

Ventajas: "They made an effort to make sure I sat with my children. Last time they didn't and it turned out badly. We had a much better experience since we were sitting together."
Desventajas: "This is the second time I've flown with China East and the second time we had a major delay. This time was only one and a half hours. Was frustrated because they didn't explain why that was."
Ventajas: "The China Eastern employees at the Shanghai airport were ultimately helpful in finding me a new flight, though they did not communicate very well."
Desventajas: "I arrived at the airport only to find that the airline had rescheduled my flight to the previous day! They did so without sending me a notice or warning, meaning that I was stranded at the airport until they were able to put me on a later flight. Very frustrating!"

Desventajas: "The crew weren't that friendly and it was really hard to understand announcements over the PA. The screens were ok but the sound was awful - it made everything almost unwatchable."

Desventajas: "Luggage was not checked in all the way to final destination, need to go thru immigration procees just to pick up the luggage and rechecked in at Pudong Airport, Shanghai, with virtually no one from the airline to help on how to go thru the process. Very frustrating!"

Desventajas: "La tripulación no fue amable conmigo porque yo no sabía hablar chino y ellas no hablan bien inglés. No hacen el menor esfuerzo en ayudarte y ofrecerte algo de comer que no sea esa comida horrorosa! La comida es Terrible! Jamás en mi vida, en ninguna clase o compañía me ofrecieron una comida fan asquerosa. Llevar lonchera!"

Ventajas: "they do have basic service sense, when the flight got delay due to the weather, they provide hotel and food for customers. include bus brought customers back and forth between hotel and airport."
Desventajas: "however, they have no sense of privacy, they suppose customers could share one room without knowing each other. I personally can't stand this, it is not respect to personal privacy."

Desventajas: "China Eastern will not let you use your devices during flight. And there is not inflight entertainment. So bring some good old fashion paper material or plan to sleep. Not the airlines fault, but China will not let you pass through their country with a battery pack that has no defined capacity on it. Had to learn that lession the hard way. Sadly, the TSA-like guy could not say why, except spouting something about 'China Regression'... Makes me never want to travel to China."
Desventajas: "NO VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN FOOD OPTIONS. Chicken beef or fish. The entire long plane ride the only thing I could use as a meal was juice."
Ventajas: "New planes. Comfortable. They include a small snack for a short flight. Free baggage included in the price."
Desventajas: "The 1h flight was late for 1h. There is no English magazine or something to read. The staff is a bit rough, a bit precipitated."
