Desventajas: "This is a kayak feedback - I thought I bought a cathay/jal flight. Well I was out of luck when I tried to fix situation. Broker in between introduce by website made it impossible to rebook flight in practice. Those website are very practical to look for flights but unless they give you the company direct you are better off switching to company site and book it there. Broker not equipped to be of any help."

Ventajas: "The crew was always super polite and looked very professional and overall just great. The food was delicious, though the portions are small haha. I had my time behind and I was super late to boarding but the crew came looking for me and they were super nice. Definitely recommend them. Miles better than China Airlines and any of the USA based airlines too. The movie selection was pretty good and the seats were roomy and comfortable."

Desventajas: "I have been flying JAL from HK to Boston numerous times and by far my favourite (over Cathay and don't even need to mention United). However this past trip gave me a new perspective. Given it is a Japanese airline and all, it is normal for them to be Japanese-centric. We had an a-hole sitting in front of us at 51F during our flight to Narita and he was trying hard to argue with us in English, and even told us to move to another seat. When I had the flight attendant (her name is Sako on flight JL736 on Jul 26) over to discuss (in English) she went to the guy in front of us and started apologizing to him. For what??? She then came back to us speaking in Japanese and brushed the issue away. Sorry, no this was not acceptable, even though my fiance was okay with the situation."

They looked at me and deliberately ignored me. This happened on Flight from Houston to Manila. From Hong Kong to Seoul and especially from Seoul to Houston. I had to ask thrice for a head phone before I got one. I was wide awake."

Ventajas: "After requesting a special meal, the flight attendants made absolutely sure of my identity before passing the meal to me (which was GREAT!). Having the pillow, blanket and headphones ready in place when boarding was considerate of Korean Air. Of course, no matter what, having to ask people to accommodate the requests to use the lavatory got old really fast (I had a window seat) but it's what had to happen. Overall, for such a long flight, the airline is a pleasant one with which to fly."

Desventajas: "On this B777-300, the large Economy Premium is not quite up to the standard of other airlines flying the same model. The tray table, stored in the arm-rest on all rows, is tiny, and opens only a few inches, not enough for pregnant women or gentlemen with some mid-section padding. I could not use it at all, and had to balance my meals on my knees. Besides, when the passenger in front reclines his/her seat, the seat invades totally the space of the passenger in the back. I felt the passenger was resting on my lap. Forget using a laptop, or even reading a book: just watch your screen, a couple inches from your nose. Good for short-sighted people only! I tried EVA and was disappointed. I'll go back to my preferred airline, Vietnam Airlines."

Desventajas: "They announced everything in English and Arabic and repeated the same announcement multiple times. The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

Food was inedible, watched a crew member place food she had spilled onto the aisle FLOOR back onto a tray to give to someone as if nothing happened, which prompted me not to anything for an 8 hour trip. DISGUSTING!"

I and a random group of passengers were made to wait with no explanation AFTER our electronics were already cleared to go through yet another security check. They said we were selected for screening but all the other people they took before us were screened the exact same way. It was stressful and traumatizing to stand for 45 minutes with no clear explanation. The crew were clearly new at their job or ill trained. On top of that they consistently ran out of food they were serving and was forced to take the vegetarian option when it's not what I wanted. I could not wait to leave Doha and exit Qatar airways. I hated my experience traveling with Qatar. It was stressful and traumatic. I want a full refund. I will also be advising all my friends to never fly Qatar. It was the WORST!"

Ventajas: "The price: my round trip ticket from Tokyo Haneda to JFK was only 850USD The layover is only 2 hours which is bearable and enough time to find the boarding gate and a little shopping."
Desventajas: "Everything else. You can check-in online within 48 hrs before your flight, but there is no QR code produced on their app for paperless check-in. The food was terrible, and the seats were not made for long flights. I really felt the "economy" vibe. They only provide disposable slippers, but everything else you need to check the lavatories if there were toothbrushes or mouthwash packets left. Overall, I will still consider flying this airline for any emergency flight back to the US, but if there will be a compeittive airline, maybe i'd try another. Their business class seem enticing.. maybe comsoder it too."

Ventajas: "I liked the airbus used to fly from and to the USA. On a 15 hour flight comfort is key, and they did their best. The have build little foot pedals to rest your feet on. Meals also came often, and the food was on the better end of airplane food. Crew was also very friendly!"

Desventajas: "The crew only came around with water every 3 hours or so. This is unacceptable on a long flight."

Ventajas: "Everyone was so personable. We had 4 adults , 2 boys and a baby girl so it was hard to get everyone situated but with the staff on the plane it was just simplicity. All of our needs were met , wether it was someone wanting an extra blanket or the baby needing food or even helping the 2 boys get situated before and after take off . They apparently love babies because they couldn't get enough of ours and were always wanting to play with her and make her smile (which goes along way) and that helped her not feel so groggy on the plane . They know it's a long flight so they get you comfortable even down to giving you slippers and great tasting food."
Desventajas: "The only thing I didn't like was the long flight but that's not the staffs fault, it was inevitable if your flying halfway across the world . the plane had 12 inch touch screen tv with music, movies, games , news , kids entertainment and even how to learn Korean so it it was very helpful in keeping you entertained throughout the plane ride ."

Desventajas: "It would have been nice for slightly more space but it is definitely not the most cramped economy class I have sat in. Additionally, it would have been nice to have different movies from my flight to Seoul but there is so much too choose from that this is not a real issue either."

Sorry to grade for " Boarding, Mediocore" Nevertheless, the girl made us too confused. our departure to HK thru Seoul, she gave us boarding pass only to Seoul and my husband uses a cane due to leg pain. ( he can not bend his leg properly). I asked her to give a front seat. She simply ignored my request. At least, she should better say yes or no! However, other staffs helped us!"

On the flight two weeks before from JFK - they did a great job on the bathrooms.On both flights there was no need for the constant interruptions telling us to put the seat belts on. Just turn on the light no need to make an announcements in two languages."

Desventajas: "Loud children all over, my dietary choices for all three meals were messed up ever though I spoke to three different levels of Asiana employees to verify (due to the mistake on the flight to Korea). When I tried to explain to the flight attendant my dietary needs they couldn't be bothered and got an attitude when I asked for the meal that was being served. The flight crew was unfriendly. The bathrooms were crowded and chaotic after meals with no attempt on the flight crew to organize or redistribute the crowds (unsafe situation could occur). I waited 15 minutes at one point because there was simply no order. Some flight attendants were better than others but overall, they played favorites with certain groups."
