The staff was amazing in handling this, offering me everything else they had that wasn't meat. The economy seats were the most comfortable i can remember for an over night flight."

Overall experience is good. Except that the one of the assistant ground attendant during my check in is quite annoying when i asked her only one question, something regading the boardong pass. She should be more helpful and accommodating not arrogant.

They also could have mentioned my first 2 legs of my flight was with united. I tried to check in online thru ANA, couldn't go thru with many attempts until finally I called and the agent mentioned to check in thru united."

Ventajas: "Amazing, amazing service! Great food (including Hagen Daaz ice cream) and good choice of beverages. Lots of different entertainment choices. VERY clean and well maintained aircraft. Staff is always friendly and happy...they really seem to absolutely love their job! Free toiletries in the bathrooms are an extra plus. Whenever there was a change in schedule / plans the captain informed the passengers immediately about what was going on and what would happen next."
Desventajas: "The only thing that did and probably always will be AWFUL is going thru security at JFK. The T S A officials there are unfriendly, sometimes rude, never smiling and often yelling at you or even little kids or elderly people. We are travelling a lot and no other security staff at any given airport is so unfriendly and harsh. Worst thing about going on a journey."

There was an amazing selection of movies and they refilled my drinks without even asking. I would recommend this airline to anyone traveling to Asia."

Desventajas: "My daughter had the vegetarian oriental - and it was basically a ball of slim. My son had the lactose free meal and it was broccoli and potatoes. We switched our return flight meals to the regular in-flight meal. It was better, but not great."

Ventajas: "Best coach experience I have had. Good airplane food. Gracious service. Tail wind made us early which was a good thing because LAX is such a mess and it would have been difficult to make our connection with the long bus ride and 2.5 mile walk to the Alaska terminal."

Ventajas: "The crew Were so attentive. And Also not untrusive. If i was asleep they left me and offered me food and drink when i woke. Excellent airline."

Desventajas: "La calidad del sonido del sistema de entretenimiento a bordo no es buena. Hay mal contacto entre las tomas del asiento y los auriculares."
Ventajas: "As usual, plane is in good shape and crew are well trained. Nothing wrong with all the basics, but Singapore Air has definitely lost its lustre."
Desventajas: "For heaven's sake, please don't announce a boarding procedure and then not follow it. If you want to have a free-for-all rugby scrum to get on the plane, so be it. But don't announce boarding by rows/groups and then not make even a lame attempt to adhere to it."
Ventajas: "Onboard Crew was great. I sympathize that they have to rush a service on a 1hr 20min flight with turbulance."
Desventajas: "I have started taking SQ instead of budget airlines hoping for good service and on time travel. However, both times travelling from SQ from jakarta was delayed. Yesterday, I got home 1.5hrs later than I should have. I have also to pay for additional surcharge due to midnight cab fare. Further, when I wsa travelling to Jakarta - none of the inflight entertainment was working. So it has been disappointing."

Desventajas: "Que para ofrecer los servicios comerciales si hablaban español, para el resto de servicios no, aunque fueron muy atentos."

Ventajas: "The food, the seating, the upgrade, the very polite and attentive staff. I thanked them, and for that, they gave me a hand written note and a set of cards. So sweet. Totally worth it to fly Singapore."
Desventajas: "I didn't like how Vayasan and Singapore airlines telephone check in both claimed they could not upgrade. It was part of the policy/seating I bought. They were wrong, the airlines at San Francisco airport did it without blinking, after checking my visa status."

Desventajas: "Website and app are a joke. Quirky at best. Hard to figure out if it works. Bothers me a big airline cannot have a decent website."

Desventajas: "The airlines limits carry-on luggages and reinforce it to the extend that it annoys many passengers. Make the rules very clear to the people before we arrive. People abuse the wheelchair policies although they are physically fine."

Ventajas: "I liked that it was orderly when checking in and unto the plane. The pilot kept us informed of departure and arrival time, how long we had to our destination and keeping us safe when it was turbulent. Asking everyone to buckle down and for us to remain in our seats. Even the crew who was serving had to sit down."
Desventajas: "The crew who were attending us, did not smile or even made eye contact. They seemed like robots while serving us. After we had our first meal, many of us went to sleep, but they did not come around to offer us water or any type of beverage or snack. We had to go to the back of the plane or ask then to get water and snacks. The snacks were lacked variety and quality."

Desventajas: "I was in the middle seat & it was a hassle every time I go to the restroom esp when the flight was a long one. I preferred an aisle seat but none was available even when I checked-in early online."

Ventajas: "Enough food and flight attendants are very courteous. Offer water and snacks periodically. Washrooms are kept clean. Entertainment has a couple of new movies, but otherwise lots of repeats."
Desventajas: "For the overnight flight, they crank the AC up, like way up, which is good and helps you sleep IF you have a good blanket. The blanket provided is kind of short (unless you're short) so bring your own. I brought my own microfiber which fits in my back pack and I can pull it out. It covers a lot more area and so I was super comfortable."
