Kayak reservation system leaves fliers defenseless to a barrage of changing schedules/gates and confirmation codes. An absolute mess that raises customer anxiety unnecessarily. I never was able to check-in successfully online. Thankfully Aer Lingus was ready to deal with this situation."
Desventajas: "Lost my luggage for two days. Follow-up on lost luggage was extremely poor. As far as plane flight: No place to charge phone on transatlantic flight. Charged for *all* food and drinks including 4 Euros for cup of tea! Plane was very late leaving, and very late arriving. Plane seats were significantly smaller than on other airlines' international flights. Can't see any reason to fly Aer Lingus again."

Upon arrival you could not open the cargo doors and our luggage was delayed for almost 1.5 hours. There were several other issues with thus flight that made the overall experience a poor one. Some where beyond the control of the airline, others were not. There was a lot of room for improvement."
Ventajas: "We had an adequate amount of room and were treated as valued customers. Enough said!"
Ventajas: "Much better than the Rome-Dublin leg. A modern plane with entertainment. A boarding process with effective signage and flowing lines. An absolutely top-rate cabin crew. Actually enjoyable food."
Desventajas: "Really was well done: systems seem to be functioning smoothly and feedback processes are working. One thing I did note was that the waste seemed to be collected without sorting for recycling. Considering you all are on the Emerald (green) Isle, you could take up the mantle of being the "most ecological" airline in the world. It would only take a small amount of messaging."
Desventajas: "Airline lost our luggage (along with 30 other passenger bags). Also our bag wasn't going to be sent to our final destination which is a hassle, and illogical."

Desventajas: "Are Lingus is non responsive to their customers. When I called them about their change in my schedule, I was on hold for 45 minutes before someone answered the call. I explained my situation that because they changed my flight that I would now have to get a hotel, stay overnight and fly out the next day. They said there was nothing they could do and refused to pay for the hotel or meals that would be incurred as a result of their changing my flight. This was after I explained that I had originally paid more for the tickets on their airline so I would NOT have a long layover. Worst customer service I have ever encountered."
Desventajas: "My seat was changed and I was in the middle seat, not the window seat I had selected weeks earlier. My brother and his daughter had their seats changed, too, and they were in middle seats 14 rows apart, so she flew by herself on an international flight all by hersel! My headphones wouldn't work correctly in the double jack, only getting one side. Why change the plugs? The flight attendant said that they wouldn't work and that she would get me a headset. Two hours into the flight I finally got a headset. The male flight attendant was great, but unfortunately we were dealing with others that totally ignored my two small requests for the entire 6 hour flight. Our flight to Dublin was awesome, but this flight back was very very disappointing!! Changed my while feeling about Aer Lingus"

Desventajas: "Limited choice of entertainment. ****Lost my luggage both destination bound and home bound**** Being kept in the plane for an extended period of time after having landed. Not even a coffee during the connecting flights (Dublin to Cardiff and Gatwick to Dublin). Poor connecting facilities and having to repeat security screening before connecting to the second leg of trip."

Desventajas: "Two major problems, when we went to check in, we stood in line and were very rudely told by some German British Airways attendent that we couldn't check in with them and that we needed to go to Aer Lingus, this even though our reservations were through British Airways. Second, despite my efforts over a few months to make seat reservations, my daughter and i were separated. Aer Lingus reps in rome fixed that and I was very, very grateful for that, but when we got to the Dublin/Boston leg of our flight, they couldn't or wouldn 't fix the seating issue. On board the plane though, the flight attendents arranged for my daughter and I to sit together. Really upset me that I didn't know until the very last minute, on the plane, whether I was going to be able to sit next to my child."

You can't go wrong flying Iceland Air."

Desventajas: "Our seats were reassigned at the last minute (upon boarding) to seats that couldn't recline at all. The people in front of us could recline their seats fully, giving us no room whatsoever to move. We had no room to even rest our heads on the table or cross our legs. It was very uncomfortable. Had I known the seating was so uncomfortable, I would not have flown this airline. These were not the seats we selected earlier, so we were taken by surprise at being given such terrible seats and offered no options. I will not fly this airline again."
Ventajas: "Business class catering on board is great for a inter Europe flight. very nice aeroplane"
Desventajas: "The gate changed and I heard no announcement of it. Received incorrect information from uniformed employees when signs were not found about the flight at the wrong gate..There was no waiting area for my flight, only a line. We were bussed to a remote area of the field to board our flight from the tarmac. The flight was late in leaving. Crew was nice once we were on board, good plane. Cold in row 19, boiling hot near forward lavatories. Stressful, horrible experience."

I'm not sure that the crew handled it as well as they could have. We sat on the airplane for about an hour before even taking off. It would have been nice to get some complimentary snacks to make up for all of the delays."

Desventajas: "Flight delays, chaos in boarding in Iceland. People boarding from rear needing to get to front unable to pass since people boarding from front were trying to get to back. Not organized at all. No warning as to when delay would be over or expected boarding time. No place to sit near gate. Many people on floor. People running up and down isles throughout flight and bumping into other passengers sitting."
Desventajas: "No complementary food at all- even jetblue on a 3 hour flight will give you peanuts. They give NOTHING on a 5 hour flight"
Desventajas: "When we arrived at Keflavik airport the terminal was immensely crowded with several flights due to leave the US at once. It was overcrowded to the point of being uncomfortable and there was a 30min+ wait to buy food from the only shop. As a result we did not have time to grab a bite to eat between flights. My partner was subjected to additional TSA checks which I am aware is a random check and a nescessity but due to the amount of flights departing for the US this took an extra hour, and delayed our flight. I'm thankful that Iceland Air didn't leave without us but it was an immensely stressful experience that I don't wish to go through again."
Desventajas: "The flight was leaving late and we were informed that it was fine, that we would make our connection to Jetblue flight to RDU! That was not the case, however! That was the last flight to RDU that day and no hotel rooms were available in Boston area!!! So we had to spend the night on cots in the terminal! That sucks!!!"

There was a terrible trio playing music at our gate that was so loud that no one heard the boarding announcements. Needless to say, they were quite late in boarding this flight as well as our others."

The seat was fairly small (I'm skinny/fit in size), but manageable for a Boston to Iceland flight. Ventajas: "It was a treat to have a whole row of seats to myself from London to Reykjavik. Would have been nicer to have that space from Reykjavik to Denver, but I know that you need to fly full of passengers. The internet connection in the Reykjavik airport was good; better than in LGW."
Desventajas: "It's a mess at the Reykjavik airport while they are remodeling! Not nearly enough seating is provided for waiting passengers. Having to board and unload outside is also difficult for older passengers especially. It will be good when you no longer have to bus folks from the plane to the airport and back."

Passengers for three different flights all gather in sone small hallway outside the gates and are allowed into the gate by seat rows. this makes no difference in how you board, because once you get inside the gate area, it is just a mob waiting to up the stairs/escalator to the gangway with no rhyme or reason to who goes when."

When they were made to realize that I was a vegetarian, they made no effort to find alternatives knowing they did not have veg food on the flight. The international flights should carry at least one veg option. This flight had none. I almost starved during the flight. Boarding process was not well organized. Announcements were not properly made"
Ventajas: "Same as above One more note. On the outbound flight of this trip we had a three hour delay in Rekyavik as they repaired the plane. We were disappointed but not angry at this delay because nobody wants to fly an unsafe plane. But communication during that period was poor."

Desventajas: "Charging for snacks and food on a transatlantic flight. The food was great though, I just wasn't aware they would charge for the dinner. I rated the boarding ok because the issue wasn't Iceland Air but the airport. They had four flights to the U.S taking off at about the same time and people were lined up in the hallway confused as to where to go."

Nos asignaron en una nueva aerolínea KLN, donde corrimos para no perder el vuelo ya que tenía 15 minutos para abordar mi madre de 65 años y yo. Corrí en buscar las maletas ya registradas y hacer el procedimiento de check in y pierda de abordar para legar a tiempo. Gracias a Dios no perdimos el vuelo. Pero KLN nos indicaron que ellos no sabían de la cancelación y que no se hacían responsables del hospedaje. Al buscar en el aeropuerto de Holanda TAP AIR PORTUGAL no se hizo responsable. Por lo tanto pague una noche extra €45. Mas el servicio de taxi. En fin. Solo espero que me ayuden con la devolución de una noche por medio de TAP AIR PORTUGAL."

Desventajas: "Our flight in Lisbon was scheduled to board an hour before departure. We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."

Desventajas: "I was in seat 35G. The space under the seat in front of me was very small, and it was nearly impossible to get to my bag when the person in front of me reclined. Also, the young boy sitting behind me was kicking the seat throughout most of the flight. Not your fault, but it was pretty crappy."

Desventajas: "como em todas as companhias aereas na aeronave de tamanho medio para distancias curtas, a configuracao na classe executiva é 3 assentos por fila dos quais apenas 2 sao ocupados. isto nao dá para entender pois o conforto é muito ruim. a distancia entre assentos é pior do que em qualquer voo a longa distancia na classe economica plus. so viajei na classe executiva pois foi a conexao de um voo do Brasil para Portugal. senao seria absolutamente desnessario pagar a grande diferenca de preco para receber um beneficio muito pequeno."

Desventajas: "a configuracao dos assentos na classe executiva desta aeronave sao 3 x 2 assentos, e os assentos nao recuam para uma posicao totalmente horizontal. isto foi um problema para mim pois durmo de barriga para baixo e nao foi possivel achar uma posicao confortavel para dormir. o sistema de entretenimento nao permite assistir e parar a qualquer hora desejada, o que nao foi problema pois o voo é de apenas 8 horas e depois do jantar ja deitei."

Desventajas: "at check-in agent said we did not have coverage on our ticket for our 2 -50lb bags dispite informing her that we were covered and had no problem on our arriving flight to Portugal - we had to pay 196 Euros or leave our bags in Portugal Additionally we had ordered a wheelchair to assist my wife to the gate - which we also had our arriving flight - agent said she had no record of it. She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

Desventajas: "When we got to the airport, the gate info wasn’t on the screen. We found a seat and waited until the time it said the info would be available. When the info was available, it said the gate was closing in 10 minutes. You have to pay for everything. I ordered a meal, but there must have been a language barrier because the stewardess sold me a meal and extra sandwich, when I only wanted one. The seats don’t recline."

Desventajas: "Extremely poor service by the cabin crew. They were extremely lethargic and slow with service. So much so that numerous rows of seats with young families were never served. No announcement or apology, they just stopped serving as they needed to prepare to land. They knew from the start how long they would have to serve drinks/snacks but didn’t care and definitely did not go out of their way to ensure everyone would be served. The worst service or total lack of that I’ve ever had."
Desventajas: "vuelo salió con 2h de retraso. durante mucho tiempo nos tuvieron encerrados en el avion esperando el despegue. A pesar de tener suficiente tiempo hasta llegar a Barcelona, personal servió la comida (a mi particularmente) a las fila 20 tan sólo minutos antes de que el avión comenzara la maniobra de aterizaje con lo cual tuve que dejar de comer. Considero que deberian ser mas diligentes en el reparto de la comida o avizar a los pasajeros sobre las maniobras del avion para que pudiera decidir si espera el aterrizaje o come dentro del avión. Al aterrizar nos dejaron durante 40 min dentro ya que habia una pelea entre pasajeros y esperaban a la Guardia Civil. Considero que no era necesario a alargar esa espera ya que los pasajeros estaban bien identificados y controlados. Muy mala experiencia en general"
