Ventajas: "The crew on air New Zealand was absolutely amazing. Amazing customer service, makes me always want to fly with air New Zealand."
Desventajas: "I had no heads up that New Zealand required an app downloaded and a government check before you can travel to New Zealand. Because of this, I had to download the app at the airport, and because it can take up to 72 hours for the NZ gov to approve your app, I almost missed my flight. Would have appreciated 72 hours notice of this new rule."
Desventajas: "Breakfast was not tasty. Options could have been better."
Ventajas: "Crew was excellent; responsive, cheery. The safety video was unique enough to have passengers pay attention (seldom seen onother airlines). We were impressed and will fly "Air All Blacks" again soon."
Desventajas: "Online checkin presented problems, as did the kiosk checkin. Breakfast could have been served a little earlier -- I realize they wanted to give passengers sleep time and turbulence may have delayed service somewhat, too. Otherwise good."
Ventajas: "Very prompt and efficient"
Ventajas: "The food in Premium Economy was good and there are plenty of movies to choose from. The staff were lovely."
Desventajas: "I had paid for Premium Economy and was seated in Row 30. The passengers were boarded up to row 28, then from to back of the plane forward then I was boarded with the last remaining passengers. That was not what I feel should have happened. I did not like the footrest on the seats."
Ventajas: "The seats are comfortable. I was fortunate to have a gap in the middle seat. On my flight there was a delay due to a person needing to disembark before the flight took off. The flight dealt with the person inconsiderately and explained to everyone the reason for the delay."
Desventajas: "Nothing. The flight was efficiently run and seats comfortable."
Ventajas: "Friendly crew"
Desventajas: "Crumbs still on my seat when I boarded"
Desventajas: "Basic flight with no frills"
Desventajas: "Do not ever forget or decide not to book a checked in bag on Air NZ when booking your ticket on line. You have a bag to check at the airport they will not tell you it is $30 or $40 but gouge you for $160au. That is a total rip off and they should be embarrassed to ask for that excessive amount."
Ventajas: "Our stewardess was very helpful for our tight connection. She helped with instructions on finding our next gate and gave specific information on making the airport easier to maneuver."
Desventajas: "On time fights would have made our day better and less stressful."
Desventajas: "No enough blankets when feeling cold"
Ventajas: "Comfortable seat."
Desventajas: "Ran out of meal options, flight was delayed so one option breakfast not appropriate at midday. The flight attendant blamed the person in front of me for taking the last other option. I had to clarify with her that meant there was only one option left. She seemed annoyed at me for asking."
Ventajas: "Good food"
Desventajas: "Why so cold in the cabin!"
Desventajas: "They don't greet me only the people in front and behind me. I didn't receive a meal she skipped me i don't know if you have to pay or not but the person on the left of me got one and the person the right got one"
Ventajas: "Everything. Best service and great seat room."
Ventajas: "The option to gate check strollers for easy access with a toddler"
Desventajas: "The stroller wasn't delivered to the gate by Air New Zealand"
Desventajas: "Flight was delayed and the informati N at the gate kept changing. Regular announcements that we would board in 10 Minutes. And hen we didn’t and then another announcement of 10 minutes etc Process was confusing. Four different lines with signage that was too low to be seen by anyone except those who were up front. Employees were flustered and having arguments on phone in presence of those boarding. Led to more chaos and uneasiness"
Ventajas: "Service is great"
Desventajas: "Had to make a stop at Invercargill to recharge fuel, flight got delayed"

Ventajas: "Everything. A modern comfortable plane. It's embarrassing for airlines from America because they pale in comparison. I would gladly pay $100 more and fly in style IN COACH! Can't wait for the return flight."
Desventajas: "I am vegetarian so should request veg option meals"

Desventajas: "bummed I couldn't even opt in or purchase wifi. being self-employed and having such long flight - its just a missed opportunity. the screens were hard to even see. it just kind of felt like an old, dirty airline."
Ventajas: "Attendants were friendly. The agent at the gate rerouted my flight after my initial flight was delayed. She explained she did that so that I could make my international connection in time."
Ventajas: "The entire group of employees were excellent, and very friendly."
Ventajas: "there were extra blankets."
Desventajas: "Cold air blasting for 8 hours."
Ventajas: "Overall service, food quality vs US airlines, selection and ease of use of entertainment system."
Desventajas: "I purchased a $50 select economy upgrade which should have included priority boarding but it did not. That’s on the airline though, not Kayak. The airline also did not reply to an enquirer submitted weeks before the flight. Seat leg space was restricted more than average due to large black blocks in addition to the metal seat frames. Maybe that’s due to the enhanced entertainment and power outlets so can’t say it’s a complete negative."
Desventajas: "Unable to check-in online because of an international connection. Also, we need to pay extra for everything."
Ventajas: "The people and the service were top notch. I fly on numerous carriers and overall AirNZ has been my favorite, hands down, primarily because of the helpful kind friendly staff."
Desventajas: "Disembarking down onto the tarmac, and being made to stand out there for about 5 minutes (supposedly for safety's sake) while another plane was being pushed out from the next gate, all the while breathing in the choking nauseating jet exhaust fumes while our own plane was idling."
Ventajas: "Nothing!"
Desventajas: "Awful service, they put me waiting for more than an hour to say that I was in the overbook list so they would need to include me in a flight 3 hours later in another airline. Outrageous!"
Ventajas: "The service is great as well as the food!"
Ventajas: "The customer service is stellar, the planes comfortable. I will fly with them again in the future."
Ventajas: "I was very impressed by the entire experience. Boarding and disembarking at front and at rear of plane, good spacing between seats, cookies, entertainment options... and lovely flight crew. Thank you Air NZ!"
Desventajas: "Nothing I can think of. Very happy with the flight."
Desventajas: "Air New Zealand needs to manage double door boarding a little differently - a ticket checker needs to be at the split point - to streams of passengers trying to find their seat in opposite directions just doesn't work."

Desventajas: "No Wi-fi? WTF? It's 2017, almost 2018! How is it that an international airline does not have Wi-fi? Extremely disappointed, as I didn't find out until I boarded the flight. Get Wi-fi ASAP."

Ventajas: "Very friendly and frequent service while in-flight. It was great having my own monitor built into the seat to watch available movies or tv shows I wanted to for the duration of the flight. Flight attendants would walk the aisles every two hours and offer water to everyone. I had never flown Air New Zealand before, but now it's one of my top airlines."
Desventajas: "The only complaint would be that there was no in-flight wifi available onboard."
