Flight from Sydney to LAX was delayed by 4 hours, then missed flight LAX to LAS... overall long delayed arrival. Checked the route through Brisbane, and those flights we're all there, departed and landed all on-time... so wondering what the reason was for the change of the itinerary without a cause (no cancel or delayed flights through Brisbane)"

Desventajas: "- Boarding kept getting delayed without any warning. - Duty free purchase was meant to be collected just before boarding the plane but mine was not there. This was not so much an issue but the man said he would have my bag sent to my seat and I was subsequently approached by a crew member who asked for my receipt. Which he was holding in his hand. I would have thought it would be quite easy to confirm the person without them having the receipt as the their name and seat number is on the receipt but he had to go back and check if it was okay. - Found it hard to sleep on the overnight flight due to uncomfortable seats. Would probably not be an issue in upper class. - No comment on entertainment as did not use it."

The attendant that I had for my section also told me that all food and drinks were free so they gave me a few extra adult drinks here and there which is a plus for how long the flight was going to be. The movie selection is great also having some on there that are still in theaters is a huge plus."
Desventajas: "The boarding process seemed way out of order, they made so many mistakes and nobody knew what to do, then you have the pushy passengers that are sitting coach getting mad that you're boarding before them. Breakfast left me wanting something else, lets just say this if you are given the choice of something vs french toast, take the something."

Ventajas: "I felt that they were very thoughtful about the fact that it was a long flight. We got two small meals, which was perfect, and even a little gift bag with a sleep mask and toothbrush and such in it. These were just a couple of the many nice touches included in the flight."
Desventajas: "Very small quibble: the screen resolution, or maybe the contrast, of the personal video players was not so great. This was fine in most cases, but it meant I could not watch videos that had subtitles. Not a big deal but possibly worth fixing. Thanks"

Desventajas: "It wasn't clear that we would need to pay to check our luggage, especially since every international flight I have ever been on allows you a checked bag at no cost. When we got to the airport it cost us $130 each to check our bag which we were told it would have been around $50 if we had done it online ahead of time (if we knew). $130 per bag is excessive for checked luggage and we were extremely frustrated and disappointed. I like to fly Virgin when I can due to comfort but that experience left much to be desired."

Ventajas: "Flight was on the emptier side, so my boyfriend and I each got our own entire rows to lay down and sleep the entire flight. Which was great, since I had just spent 6h vomiting from bali belly on the previous flight. Liked that they accommodated my GF meal."

Desventajas: "After we boarded and were already sitting in our sits the stewardess came and removed our bags from the overhead compartment for another person with a larger bag! We ended up storing our bags under the sits in-front. The way it was done it was rude and with no consideration for our comfort."

Ventajas: "Very rude behavior of the staff at the desk. Flight was 7 hours delayed and then canceled. And the staff were not able to give us updates. They were being rude."

Once your ready to board you should call out seat numbers starting from the back of the plane to the front and if someone tries to board before their seat has been called they should have to wait. This would eliminate all of the passengers to rush on line in order to get to their seat and to have space in the over head compartment."

Ventajas: "The crew was friendly and attentive. Boarding was seamless and smooth. Departing from New York, they proactively asked the passenger to volunteer checking their carry-ons ahead of boarding so they didn't have to waste time when boarding the flight."
Desventajas: "There was no entertainment. The snack could have been something more substantial. The overhead cabin space both for departing Toronto and departing New York was was insufficient."

Desventajas: "A 4 1/2 hour flight turned into close to 5 hours. Considering that a person has to be there well ahead of time, go through customs etc. a cup of coffee and 2 cookies and no entertainment anymore, it's a long and boring flight ."

Desventajas: "I was traveling with a piece of artwork and had to check it in oversized luggage, but as I was going through customs, I wasn't allowed in, because the Westjet team couldn't find it. I was escorted to their waiting zone, where I spent 1.5 hours waiting in limbo trying to figure out what I could do. Thank goodness the flight was delayed 80 minutes, because I was finally able to make the flight with 2 minutes to spare after running to the gates. The flight time, 65 minutes. I find it hard to believe the flight got delayed an entire flight. To couple that, when the plane landed in LGA (where I am as I write this), we're stranded on the runway because we don't have clearance to pull into our taxi area."

Desventajas: "Trip from Toronto to NYC should not be so long. Between boarding getting delayed to finding a gate in NY laguardia, it was just extremely exhausting."

Desventajas: "I had to get searched by crew twice even with the delayed flight it was random even going through all the proper procedures of checking in with my carry on luggage and etc. It was not organized and I got the run around and I just felt like not a valued customer. When boarding the flight I got passed over with beverage and snack. My neighbors next to me looked at me with concern and I just ignored it and didn't want to ask because I was already bothered by my whole experience coming back to New York."

Ventajas: "As always with Westjet the crew was great, I got upgraded to Plus seating which was a nice surprise."
Desventajas: "I did experience a technical glitch which didn't let me check in online or with the kiosk due to the system thinking I still owed a flight-change fee from months before. But the woman at the check-in desk fixed things up and upgraded my seat."

Ventajas: "Boarding the plane was incredibly fast. As for the crew, I got an iffy energy from one of the crew members whom I felt was trying to play on my intelligence."
Desventajas: "I wish American offered more vegan and wheat/ gluten free options, as well as herbal tea options. I was determined to sleep during this flight, but I was hoping this plane would have the TV behind the chair. I enjoy watching the live map as we’re flying."
