Disgracely shocking practice by a national career & not by any means budget airline. Previously Mihiri Air served even better choice of food & drink at moderate prices but price of ticket was at least 50% cheaper. SL Govt with SLA With no regard for passenger comfort nor giving them a reasonabl deal on his sector should be condemned & boycotted. As a regular traveler I will look at Emirates as a better airlines despite with a different time slots still would be cheaper & value FO money. Wake up Sri Lankan Airlines from your slumber"

Food menu need to update once in three months at least. Since last six months or more it is the same food menu. Same thing with the entertainment, movies need to be updated once in six months."

SriLankan staff sent me to the lounge and treated me very well. The 2nd leg was badly delayed and poorly handled for most passengers."

The cabin crew manners and behaviors has improved from worst to good but still have some way to go to be better. Food was reasonable. Toilets and entire plane was kept clean from start to end of the journey. Announcements were informative, short and crisp. The captain profusely apologized for long delay."
Desventajas: "The flight got delayed for take off at Bombay (Mumbai) by 8 hours and the Air India ground staff handled it extremely poorly. Didn’t exhibit their responsibility and didn’t stand by their accountability for passenger experience, customer service, and excelling in providing a better flying experience to their passengers. It was painful, tiring, and frustrating. Boarding process was I’ll managed and chaotic. Even wheel chair passengers were left behind."

Took 6 hours to find out they had some sort of cart in the back that you could visit for drinks. No diet soda at all, and the soda I did get came in a dirty can. It looked like it was covered in dirt or clay, or something that resembled rust. Will not fly again unless absolutely necessary. The only positive aspect was the star alliance affiliation so I could get my miles to my account."

Desventajas: "The TV and overhead reading light did not work, so I could niether read nor watch TV for 14 hrs of flight. Out of 4 Lavatories in my section, 3 stopped working halfway into the journey."

Desventajas: "The plane was very old. Things didn't work very well or not at all, such as the headphone jack & the remote control. My seat was broken and the leg rest would not retract which really restricted my comfort. The food was shocking, we did not receive any hot food for around 6-8 hours into the flight. Only got offered and Indian pastry and peanuts within the first 6-8 hours. For a 17 hour flight the food was not acceptable plus the choices were very limited. We did not get offered any alcoholic beverages & the staff were not very helpful I felt & the toilets were not kept clean or tidy at all throughout the flight. Overall not good!!! Would not fly agin with them. Lastly... I am Star Alliance Gold member and was misadvised at check in regarding upgrading."

My entertainment center stopped working in the middle of the flight. The flight was filthy. The attendants rarely came around to pick up garbage. My fan and light didn't work. I'll never fly this airline again."

Even maintenance is a problem-overhead light did not work and entertainment system did not work well. Though far better than my flight of 2 weeks prior, the flights I've taken from 2008-2015 were much better, making Air India the airline of choice each time then. Now, if Air India is going to be as bad as US or Europe-based airlines, I may as well make price an important consideration."

Only by mail information first delay of 3 hrs then 2 hrs and then I hr . Passengers had to sit on floor and u can imagine ladies with infants crying. I had this experience before also but thought Modi effect might have worked on Air Infia but?????"
Ventajas: "We were willing to upgrade our ticket for a fee being a Star Alliance Member only to be told that since an infant was attached to one our tickets it was not possible ! Upgrades were being done as AI was unable to provide us a bassinet for one of the Newborn twins! On boarding the craft realized that there were multiple vacant seats in Business class which were being reserved for the crew to sleep on the flight!"
Desventajas: "Poor upgrades . Failure to provide bassinet for one of the twins. Also unable to provide upgrades FOR A FEE just so crew members could sleep on the flight! ."
Desventajas: "My Seat number was 48H, seat was in very bad condition, was not able to push back, tray was very loose and not fixed properly, entertainment system was not working, overhead lamp was not working. I was just struggling to pass my time.Cabin crew was helpless and could not offer any alternate solution. Not worth at all, condition of lot of seats was like that. Crew was not professional and courteous, did not serve on time. Overall pathetic and complete waste of money and time. Frequent flyer number: 120008820"
