Desventajas: "Too cold on the plane, air is very dry, seats are very uncomfortable. The seats are hard. No cushion. No foot rest. Cup holders don’t work properly and my drinks tilt and spill. Bathrooms are dirty. Not baby friendly. Food is poor quality. I didn’t get a drink during my meal. I had to flag a flight attendant down to get juice."

Ventajas: "Since I was upgraded to business class for free due to overbooking, there really is nothing I didn’t like! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!"
Desventajas: "The dual headphone jack at my seat designed for use with the provided headsets outputted only a constant clicking noise on the right channel, so I ended up using my own earbuds."

Desventajas: "Flight was delayed over an hour. when there was announcement for boarding, they delayed again when everyone was already standing in line. Then they asked us to sit down but there was no seats. it was hot and no aircon. the security process was strict and prisonlike because it was a USA bound flight."

Desventajas: "Terminal 2 in Manila has very few options for dining and gifts. Plane was late in arriving to Terminal 2; apparently had to offload in Terminal 1, then taxi to Terminal 2, then had to be inspected extensively before we could board. Due to late boarding and ~25 wheelchairs, boarding was disorganized."

Desventajas: "If the flight was on time. The flight was delayed which resulted on missing my connecting fllight to Denver. I have to stay and wait at the San Francisco airport for 19 hours"
Ventajas: "The crew was very nice, and the movie selection was good."
Desventajas: "We had to wait for additional passengers after boarding and then again after they came in to take off, so waited an additional 2 hours on the plane (it really adds up on 12+ hour flights). Communication about he delay was mediocre, and the website did not have updated flight info for pickup."

Ventajas: "Paid a little more for the bulk head seat in economy so had more leg room, however, less storage. Direct flight from SFO to MNL The flight attendant were okay"
Desventajas: "Boarding process in Manila is confusing as once you go through security they run your bag through again AT THE GATE. I don't think I've experience this at any airport and I've been to many countries. Also, once "corralled" in your assigned gate, there is limited seating. Getting in and out to go to the bathroom or get something to eat is a hassle. PAL international has it's own terminal (2) but all the airport lounges are in 3 or 1, and you have no access to those terminal once your in 2. Finally, the food option at PAL terminal is awful. For a major Philippines airline, I wish they would upgrade their terminal and make it more appealing for international travelers. For these reasons, I would consider flying another airline from US to Manila, e.g. Cathay Pacific, United, etc."
Ventajas: "Business class from Bangkok to San Francisco was good overall, especially for $1400 one way. Food was not very good for business class, was more in line with JAL, EVA, Korean or ANA econo class but again, for the price, no complaints. Great friendly service, quick boarding. Priority Pass didn't have a lounge in Manila but thankfully, Philippines Air had their own lounge with great food and drinks for 1st Class and Business class ticket holders. Plane from Manila to SFO was older, screen way too far away, not even reachable without getting out of the seat. Business class seats don't quite lay flat but no complaints for the price. Would fly with them again!"

Desventajas: "The plane seemed very dated, although clean. The worse part was getting an IPad to watch a limited number of shows. The iPad was old and the headphones were cheap and didn’t fit well. After flying 5 business class flights in the last 2 weeks, this was by far the lowest level of entertainment available."

Ventajas: "Gave me food after they had stop serving since I slept through the whole flight. Very nice about it."
Ventajas: "the first time a strong turbulence happened, people were screaming and started praying. The pilot got on the speaker and assured the passengers that the plane is ok and able to handle any turbulence. He spoke in a very calm voice and I think it also calmed most of the passengers. I went back to sleep."

Desventajas: "The myPAL app again would not connect to the plane’s wifi although I was able to use the free 30-minute internet service. The seats are pretty hard and I used the pillow for more cushion."
Ventajas: "The shuttle from terminals 3 to 2 could have been more organized. The sign says they leave every half hour, but they were waiting for 2 more passengers to arrive which made the wait almost an hour. Our flight was scheduled to board at 9:15 and they weren’t going to depart the shuttle until 9. We we’re panicked because we still needed to go through customs. They ended up leaving earlier after we talked to the reps for a bit. We made our fight but wow that was stressful."

Desventajas: "Flight was delayed. At least this time they sent me a notification via email. On the flight from SFO to Manila, the flight was cancelled and we had to be reaccommodated the next day and I wasn't even notified that that was going to happen."

Desventajas: "It was several hours delayed, they finally boarded us, then told us they were closing the airport. They kept us on the place for another 2.5 hours while they were trying to figure out what to do. By time they let us off the plane it was 3:30 AM. Took another 2.5 hours to get our baggage back and another 1.5 hours to get the flight refunded. I travel weekly, and this has been the worst airline experience I have had so far."

Desventajas: "In the Manila Airport, once you entered into the waiting area, it would be a hassle to go to the washroom, for you have to go through the security check lineup again to go back to the waiting area."

Desventajas: "i was business class and had to wait to board for 60 (YES SIXTY) passengers in wheelchairs to board first. And most of those people were ambulating fine before and after. I believe they should have a doctors note. Apparently this is the norm with this airline in Manilla."

Ventajas: "When you check in your flight from San Francisco to Manila it is very hard to get the seat assignment ahead I'm not sure why people are always nice when checking-in"
Desventajas: "It's impossible to get ahold of a live person when traveling if you do not go to the airport to speak to somebody who can't seem to get anybody to pick up the phone I don't know why"
Ventajas: "The movie selection was good which made the 14 hour flight bearable. The flight crew was very polite and helpful."
