Desventajas: "During online check in and through the website, I was informed that I would be able to have one free checked bag. I was never prompted that I would have to pay additional. However, when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I had to pay an additional $75 to check my bag in even though my boarding pass stated I was able to check in one bag. I was then pushed back and forth through the airport to complete this process. I would have liked to be given warning if I had to pay any additional costs."

Desventajas: "Cabin light was only slightly dimmed during the 8 hrs flight. Then instead of gradually brighten the light. They just flip the switch to full blast. I think they are trying to sell you more duty free than letting their customers rest. Not ok!"

Desventajas: "The crew forgot to start serving the final meal until 40 minutes before we landed which resulted in them nearly throwing food at people so that they could quickly get through the plane and sit again before descent. I was not able to choose my seat and was seated in the back of the plane. Consequently this meant that every parent on the plane with two-year-olds decided that the best place to let them stretch their little legs was back by me. I work with small children so I understand that when they reach that age all they want to do is kick and punch, but I didn't want to end my vacation by having half a dozen two-year-olds punch my leg or try to crawl under my chair as they wandered nearby. I still have bruises."

I didn't care about paying, at that pout I would have paid $100 for some water. Seats are RIDICULOUSLY small and when the person in front of you puts their seat back it's impossible to do anything. Forgot having your tray table down."

Desventajas: "The air conditioning didn't go on until take off. There were no options for food. All alcoholic beverages were not complementary and priced too high. I got sick after eating the meal that was provided. i reserved a seat but at check in the computer assigned me a different seat number. I was flying with a family member and instead of sitting next to them I had to sit next to a stranger."

Desventajas: "I was sitting next to a girl who was not part of my family who got airsick 3 times on the flight. The first time I told the airline attendant and she brought a large plastic bag and some paper towels. The girl but her used airsick bag inside the large plastic bag. I tied the top and put in next to me near the aisle because I expected the attendant to come pick it up. The attendant told me I had to take it to the lavatory and dispose of it in there. It was very hard to get the large plastic bag into the small trash receptacle because it had fill with air. I asked the attendant for another airsick bag but she never brought it. The girl got sick again and she used my airsick bag. While walking the bag up to the lavatory, I asked a different attendant for another airsick bag. They just told me I had to dispose of it in the lavatory and never brought another airsick bag. I had to ask someone for their airsick bag because the girl got sick a third time. I can not believe the horrible service on this flight! The poor girl was crying because she felt so sick and there wasn't anyone to help her. I did what I could but I felt something could have been done by the crew. I will think twice before I reserve another flight on SAS."

Desventajas: "The meals were mediocre and should be up to the standard of the rest of SAS service. The selection of movies could have been wider. They do help pass the time."
Desventajas: "I was sitting next to a special needs man and the crew was extremely unhelpful towards him. He should not have been flying alone and they did not help him at all. When you handed out the customs form he told the stewardess he needed help and she ignored him. When I pressed the call button for him it took someone 35minutes to come back and then she told him she would help him after dinner. I pressed a call button the second time to help him find something and again it took over 30 minutes for someone to come back to us. If there was a real emergency this delay would have been a huge problem. The stewardess was extremely rude in general."

Desventajas: "The first plane was absolutely filthy. I paid for Wifi and when connection was spotty put my laptop down still with half of the data I purchased unused, but then it wouldn't let me back on later. Food was awful. On the first flight they skipped me for drink service entirely."

Ventajas: "The staff were so, so helpful and made sure we were all as comfortable as possible. I liked all the snacks and drinks and the no charge for checked bags. (A big help after a long trip and short on $!) And the best part? They dealt with U.S customs before we left Dublin so that we didn't have to deal with the long lines in Boston. So grateful!!!"
Desventajas: "My entertainment screen froze every time I tried to play a game, had to reset a few times before I gave up."
Desventajas: "There were absolutely no vegetarian meals. All flights should at least have a few extra just in case someone needs some. After I refused the meal, I didn't even get water or anything. I was given a nauseating wrap with tea towards the end of the flight. I'm not even sure how that was expected to be edible. Unbelievable, I will not be flying Aer Lingus again."

Desventajas: "We just returned home to New York from our trip to Amsterdam and Ireland. The trip itself was amazing despite the sub par customer service we received from Aer Lingus that definitely put a damper on our vacation. Our flight on Wed July 19th from NYC to Amsterdam went off without a hitch until we claimed our luggage, my brand new suitcase was covered with stains. Very disappointing but we went on to enjoy our time in Amsterdam. The real problems began when we flew from Amsterdam to Dublin, first we were seated all over the plane and worst of all when we arrived my husband's bag was lost. We went to customer service and completed the paper work. Everything my husband had for the trip was in that bag. Aer Lingus only texted him once and after that he had to call every day to check the status of his bag. Instead of exploring Dublin, we had to spend Sunday shopping to get him clothes for the trip. No word from Aer Lingus. Monday morning July 24 he calls to find the status of his bag. It was found in Amsterdam and was to be flown to Dublin and shipped to our next stop in Kinsale. We arrived Monday evening to find that the bag had not been shipped. Again no word from Aer Lingus. My husband called to find out the status and made arrangements to pick the bag up when we were flying back to NYC. We were happy the bag was found but my husband still was without all of his belongings for our entire trip. On Thursday July 27 we arrived at the airport early to retrieve the bag before we checked in to our flight. We were dismayed to find that there was not a person to talk to but a phone on a column to call to get help retrieving the luggage. There was a queue at the phone with people ahead of us in similar situations. Finally someone came out to escort my husband to get his bag. We were traveling with our son, and again our seats were scattered about the plane. There was no one at checkin to help us, and we didn't get help at the gate. So we had to sit separately for the 6 hour and 30 minute flight. When we claimed our bags, my bag now had tears along with the stains. This was a brand new suitcase and it is now ruined. My husband says he will never fly Aer Lingus again and this was the worst customer service he has had in his life. The customer service was virtually non existent."
Ventajas: "Flight went smoothly, staff were pleasant, seat was fine, entertainment worked well"
Desventajas: "The overall feel is that the staff are very rigid about their rules. They come down the aisle at their appointed times, but never just check up to see how people are doing. The rule about registering for a vegetarian meal 72 hours advance is ridiculous. there should always be meat-free options for people, not just vegetarians. The flight attendant was kind enough to find some fruit salad for me, out of the crew meals, but she shouldn't have to. in general they don't feel very warm or inviting."
Ventajas: "Truly lovely employees at every step of the trip Tasty food!"
Ventajas: "in flight entertainment was diverse and kept me occupied. the food was quite good, and free since it was a transatlantic flight. smooth flight and pleasant crew"
Desventajas: "Boarding is very haphazard and disorganized. Somewhat the airlines responsibility since they could keep it more controlled by enforcing what tows they will allow to pass. I couldn't do an online checkin with any of my Aer Lingus flights. As a result, my partner and I had seats far from each other and at the back of the plane."
Ventajas: "Friendly staff. Made efforts to assure passengers there were arrangements made for them in Dublin due to our late departure."
Desventajas: "I rated food and entertainment as 1 star since there is no N/A option. Our short flight did not provide them."

Ventajas: "I understand the need for rules, but delaying 250 People because three idiots check baggage and don't show up is absurd. You need to have your own people on site who can take it off. I'll never fly you again."
Desventajas: "Further, you did little to ameliorate the situation for those stranded. I appreciate the hotel, but air Canada, united etc ALL offer cash compensation for delays caused by the airline..you didn't even offer an onboard drink. Also, the flight to JFK left 10 minutes after we landed: you should have held that flight rather than cost us all time/money/stress!"

Desventajas: "Tickets were a bit pricey. The offer to upgrade was tempting but the smallest amount that could be offered was more than I was willing to pay. Your offer should say "make us an offer over $200."
Ventajas: "We were only 7 across in Economy so that was comfortable. We also got feed. no surcharges! I slept so didn't check out the entertainment."

We found it here in Fort Lauderdale right where we departed from. As one can imagine, it makes for a terrible trip when your missing your things. Especially warm clothes..."

Desventajas: "1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired."
Ventajas: "Worst experience flying of my life and I've flown quite a lot. Showed up for my flight in Amsterdam to a connecting flight in Dublin to sfo for Christmas. They told me I didn't have a seat on the ams-Dublin flight. Waited and asked everyone with aer Lingus who was available which was one woman who ignored me as much as possible whether I would make it home for Christmas. No info given. Finally got thrown (literally) a ticket after the plane was completely boarded. Barely made my connecting flight in Dublin. Arrived in sfo and my luggage never arrived. A week later, after countless phone calls, bag descriptions, and headaches, my luggage was located in Dublin. I just received my bag today with everything I needed for Christmas but didn't have. Basically aer Lingus ruined my Christmas 2016 and I still can't figure out who to log a complaint to. Worst airline ever."
Desventajas: "Due to some circumstances I had to cancel my trip. Because I booked through a third party I was unable to get a refund or any recompense without ~$200 in fees, so I had to abandon the tickets, I was really looking forward to the trip and i was disappointed I couldnt do anything to salvage them."
Ventajas: "We liked the US pre-clearence process that saved us a bunch of time. The meals were great. The plane was very new and clean."
Desventajas: "Drink service needs improvement. They only came around twice and even after several requests we finally had to seek out a steward to get beverages. The earbuds are very poor quality. We took 2 different flights, each with a different style earbud and they both had terrible sound quality. There is a great Entertainment collection of movies and music but the earbud quality made it difficult to actually hear music clearly or even sound for the movies."

Luego el servicio de Grund Global que les maneja el equipaje a LOT muy pero muy mala... nunca contestaron el telefono, por lo que no pude hacerl el reclamo del equipaje para darle seguimiento. Luego me encontraron mis maletas pero yo viaje el 4 de agosto al Delta del Danubio por lo que fue imposible que me las llevaran a la ubicacion. Una maleta llego a Bucarest el 6 y la otra el 8 de agosto. Dos dias antes de mi proxima parada en Europa (Italia) cuando llegue al aeropuerto a recoger el equipaje, nuevamente nadie respondio al telefono, por lo que tuvimos que acudir al personal del aeropuerto para que yo udiera entrar al area restringida a recoger mi equipaje. Muy tardado y dificl localizar a alguna persona que me pudiese apoyar en la recuperacion del equipaje."

Each time, we were without our luggage for nearly a day and half. We are no longer using this airline. Also, their TV monitors/remotes lack accessibility as they do not offer closed captioning features for the deaf/hard-of-hearing. Another strike."

There was no plane waiting for them in Budapest and they got re-routed to Vienna. Which then took them to krakow. They had to take off their luggage everytime they got off the plane and they are 80 years old. There were no escalators or elevators. The airlines lost one of their suitcases and promised it the next day and they have not received it yet. Horrible flight."

Desventajas: "Messed up security clearance arrangement. Total confusion about secondary clearance requirement, only informed at boarding at gate that a lot of travelers needed secondary clearance. No objections to secondary clearance, but procedure a joke. Machine was half way down the terminal. Half hour wait, and you could have left your carry on with somebody else, get cleared by machine, pick up your bag again and get on board."

Desventajas: "On a way to Poland from New York we were waiting two hours in airport with no information. Then we were sitting in airplane 50 minutes more. It was delay 2hours and 50 min."
Ventajas: "Overall very good - no complaints. LOT is comparable with Lufthansa and KLM (the airlines I have most experience with) in terms of service and space. Boarding in Warsaw was chaotic - no announcements it just sort of started, I was in Zone 3 but there were only lines for Zones 1 and 2. The usual Central European pushing into the line. Flight was nice, smooth and good service. Leg room is limited but that is to be expected on any airline and flight. Would fly LOT again happily. On time, Captain made regular announcements. I arrived safely, as did my luggage. Can't wait for the direct service between Chicago and Budapest."

Flight coming back was cancelled due to technical difficulties, but no problems with rescheduling, LOT rep. was very helpful. No forced charges for checked-in and carry-on bags-BIG differentiator ! used 787 Dreamliner."

Also the boarding was delayed without giving specific reason almost 50 min later. Finallly they said the boarding was delayed to catering and cleanning, which I could not believe since the plane has been on a tarmac close to an hour. Passengers were lining up to board, but one of the gate agent kept asking to sit down without giving any reason. Probable one of the worst boarding experience I have ever had in international flights."

Nuevamente fui con British y se igual forma no sabían de mi reservación..tanto América Airlines como British aún que haya llegado tres horas antes de la salida. No me solucionaba ni una ni otra al punto que llegó el momento que se fue mi vuelo. Pero Dios es grande y una señora de British se compareció de mí y me ayudó.Salí a Roma el viernes 12. Al regreso la misma história sólo que en otro país otro idioma..La.gente de British me dijo que aparecía Cancelado mi vuelo cuando ninca lo cancele.. Al contrario estuve pendiente de hacer el chekpoin en linea pero nunca pude entrar a su página aparecia cómo "error". A mi salida fue un calvario me hicieron dormir en Roma para salir al siguiente día pero por América Airlines..Estuve a punto de no llegar a tiempo a la cobertura periodística en el Vaticano. Son un chiste esta Aerolínea no la recomiendo ya que ni tienen un Counter para soluciones al clientes en Roma."

Como fui varias veces a tratar de que me ayudaran una de las Counter le dijo a su companera que no me atendiera que yo tenia que pagar un boleto y ya. Pero gracias a Dios una de ellas me ayudo pero igual el vuelo ya no lo podía tomar pero también dijo que parecía una persona de beneficiencia cuándo mi boleto ya estaba pagado de ida y vuelta yo no fui a pedir limosnas sino mis derecho como Cliente."

Corrí en buscar las maletas ya registradas y hacer el procedimiento de check in y pierda de abordar para legar a tiempo. Gracias a Dios no perdimos el vuelo. Pero KLN nos indicaron que ellos no sabían de la cancelación y que no se hacían responsables del hospedaje. Al buscar en el aeropuerto de Holanda TAP AIR PORTUGAL no se hizo responsable. Por lo tanto pague una noche extra €45. Mas el servicio de taxi. En fin. Solo espero que me ayuden con la devolución de una noche por medio de TAP AIR PORTUGAL."
