I am very disappointed."

One ANA staff sends us to wait to a certain counter after looking at our ENTIRE trip (all 3 segments), only to find out 20min later that we were supposed to go to ANOTHER counter, because our ultimate destination was International (USA). Also, boarding passes had to be REPRINTED in Tokyo for some reason. Note: on the way to Okinawa 2 weeks earlier, we had similar poor experience, but we only had to wait 5 min in the wrong lane. Overall ANA staff is very nice, friendly and smiling, but seems to get overwhelmed and confused very easily, and take FOREVER to do simple tasks that their US counterparts do 3x or 4x FASTER. --> do more regular TRAINING of your staff at airport counters !"

Ventajas: "Da la impresión de avión mas amplio al tener los portamaletas tan altos y la puerta de entrada ."
Desventajas: "La forma de controlar el chorro de tu aire es muy complicada. El sistema de luces individuales al estar tan alto ilumina todo. Una luz general estaba estropeada en el vuelo y se quedo enendida ( era vuelo nocturnos). Era un vuelo de bastantes horas y podrían haber dado algo más consistente de comer. Los asientos no se reclinan tanto como en otros aviones. LO PEOR EL SISTENA QUE TIENE DE ENTRETENIMIENTO INDIVIDUAL. (Sin pantalla)"

Ventajas: "My flight was exhausting zing eventually uncomfortable. The seats weren't clean as it irritated my skin. I didn't eat the food as I couldn't identify it. Passengers were told it was "chicken" but it didn't appear to be chicken. The flight attendants didn't know English so they weren't helpful at all"

Ventajas: "I booked thru a search engine more than 3 months before the flight but was not allowed to select my seat. I was seated at the last seat in the middle. The trip was long, more than 12.hrs and being in the aisle would have been comfortable. It is not my 1st time to ride the airline . ."

Desventajas: "Me intoxique con la comida y vomite y estuve dentro del avión vomitando como 25 mnts y me fui a mi asiento y me sentí mareada de tanto vomitar y trajeron una doctora y me hizo preguntas de 3 meses si tuve algo oh alérgica a un medicamento y le dije que have 7 meses sólo había tenido un ataque al corazón que no tiene que ver con la intoxicación de la comida y dijeron que no pero no tenia nada solo el malestar u decidieron bajarme en otra Ciudad Alaska sin consultar primero y no me sentía grabe solo mareada de la fuerza del vomito y de ahí me mandaron para Ciaro luego los Ángeles y de ahí para China cantón y ahora me toca regresarme y no me dejan subir al avión si no traigo un certificado médico estoy en.China yo no conozco ningún hospital y no tengo médico de cabecera viajo al año 15 veces puedo mandar fotos de mi pasaporte y nunca me a pasado esto con la comida y menos de tirarme en otra ciudad ahora no puedo regresar a mi País de Recidemcia USA por que no quieren que suba entonces que hago aquí comprar otro ticket por que"

Ventajas: "La puntualidad y atención en la aerolínea es muy buena. Tienen variedad de películas y series. La comida es buena. Todos los asientos tienen una pequeña almohada y cobija para ir más cómodos."

Desventajas: "Flight cancelled (not because of weather or emergency) without notify me at all! Disarrster trip! At the end both of my luggages lost! I was told they are still in Beijing. Pray I can get them in several days later!"

Desventajas: "You name it, I've flown it, but Air China takes the cake for all-around worst experience on a plane. For starters, the idea of customer service hasn't made it's way to Air China. The staff were cold, at best, and rude, at worst. The food is one step below prison food. In my opinion, it was inedible. Every Air China flight I took (and I took 4) were the most turbulent I've ever taken, almost as if the pilot was purposefully trying to rattle us. Finally, one of the most annoying things about Air China is not being able to check in via app. Their tech is from 1987, so you have to go to their airport counter and endure long lines. I will NEVER fly with them again."

Desventajas: "- Surly staff, terrible food, terrible cellphone policies (to be fair, this is a china-wide issue), crowded seats, old planes. I HATE AIR CHINA and will try to avoid flying them as much as possible"

Desventajas: "Things I didn't like: 1. Cannot use smartphones during the entirety of the flight: customers should be warned that smartphones are not allowed to be used during the entire flight. I would not of chosen this horrible airlines if I'd known. I would of gladly spent hundreds more on another airline to avoid this inconvenience. I saved games and movies I wanted to play onto my phone for my 20hr flight and learned from the flight attendant that phones usage was not permitted. What a waste. Plus their movie selections were very limited and a complete joke compared to American, Delta, Virgin, or JetBlue. 2. Food: HORRIBLE TASTING FOOD. Air China should be ashamed of themselves to represent "Chinese food" in this way. I found 3 out of 4 of my meals completely inedible and absolutely disgusting. 3. Most cramped seats I've ever flew in: These seats are just tests to see how much you can put up with flying."

Ventajas: "Courteous & professional. Provided information & snacks while waiting. If they devised a way to provide information & resources about connecting flights to each passenger, they would be at the top of their game."
Desventajas: "I had to pay to catch my connection with no way to document it, as it was an extreme rush & cash was the only way to get it done on the run. So I doubt I'll see any reimbursement. Airlines, Air China included, should try to provide better accommodations for delayed connecting passengers & not just leave it to airport ground crew or worse, passengers own resources. The only assistance provided was a couple crew directing with flight number signs from the arriving gate. But nothing further than that."

Ventajas: "Just fine."

Desventajas: "We had a 12 hour flight and not once was the fasten seatbelt sign turned off despite the weather being very smooth. How do they expect people to not pee for 12 hours? Seats were hard as a rock. Staff seemed unhappy and definitely were not courteous. I asked for a glass of wine with my meal and it took them well over an hour to bring it. They say to turn off your cellphone for the whole flight. Airplane mode was not said to be okay and my husband is a rule follower and wouldnt let me use my phone in airplane mode. Definitely no wifi available if you wanted that."
