I believe the flight attendant knew of my concerns because she started asking me if the service was ok. If your doing a good job, then you won’t have to ask."

Ventajas: "What can I say about a flight of this length? Its always an epic journey to go from the US to Asia. However I will say that with Singapore Airlines things are a lot easier. Excellent crew who were always willing to help with my fondness for a beer. Food was as expected and up to the standard of Singapore Airlines. All round it was a long trip made a lot easier......5 stars."

Desventajas: "I purchased this ticket without realizing that the law stipulated 6-month validity remaining on one's US passport to enter singapore. The Singapore Airways website does not state this anywhere, and it was not until I arrived at the airport that I was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in, but nor could I refund or transfer the ticket. The booker should be obliged, when one enters the passport information upon purchasing the ticket, to make note if the passport expiration time is not valid for the flight. Spent $600+ on the flight, and the customer service person I spoke to from the airport was very abrasive and not interested in helping me figure out an alternative."

Incident 1: The flight from DPS to Singapore the flight attendant scoffed when I asked for socks saying that economy passenger don't receive socks on this flight. I didn't appreciate the suggestion that my class wasn't worthy of meeting my request. Her response felt condescending. Her continued interaction with me consistently felt short and mildly irritated with me. I didn't understand why. Honestly, I won't fly Singapore again because of this. Flights are not cheap for me. I spend the extra few hundred dollars because of great reviews and a superior experience last year. I will not be spoken to in a condescending way. On the second leg of my travel from Singapore to LAX the flight attendant once again said that I will not be given socks? Why, thought? I'm traveling for over 30 hours. Have things changed? Second, I asked for a second ice-cream. She handed me the ice-cream then took it out my hand and told me she would have to come back to me. The galley that was suppose to have food didn't seem to have anything. Was I missing something. Be fail on many level."

Alright they gave us headphones for our young son you had to put the foam covers on yourself and they kept coming off. Not a very good selection of movies. Good is bland and not very good options."

However, when I got into the plane, the lady that was going to be seating next to me asked me if I could change my seat with her husband; which was a regular seat. In order to avoid an awkward 12 hour flight, I agreed to change my bigger seat for a smaller seat. I felt disappointment that Air New Zealand separates parties and leaves room for uncomfortable situations. I really did not know what to do in this scenario, I paid for that seat but was in a way forced to give it a away without any refund in order to avoid 12 hours seating with some stranger's wife."

After 10 minutes of maneuver, I decided to ask a flight attendant to help me figure out what happened to my seat. I pressed the button asking for attendant and waited for 5 minutes, no response. So I pressed the button again. IT showed that I had already pressed the button. So I kept waiting. But then no one ever came for me the 9 hours until it was time for the meal before getting off. Sitting straight sleeping was a really terrible experience!"

Midnight departure time of the flight to Greece is inconvenient. It is just too late. Getting through customs at Newark is a chore. There are not enough computers for passengers to report what they have to report. Also, many passengers I saw did not know how to use a computer."

La tripulación no es agradable y el servicio de bebidas es ridículo es vergonzoso. Además si se es miembro Silver y hay espacio en primera clase, prefieren dejar asiento vacío que dar ascensos."

El retraso total fue de 4:10h."

Una luz general estaba estropeada en el vuelo y se quedo enendida ( era vuelo nocturnos). Era un vuelo de bastantes horas y podrían haber dado algo más consistente de comer. Los asientos no se reclinan tanto como en otros aviones. LO PEOR EL SISTENA QUE TIENE DE ENTRETENIMIENTO INDIVIDUAL. (Sin pantalla)"

Desventajas: "1- No me gusto, las dos veces que he volado el porta equipaje en el avión está lleno. 2- la señora que me atendió para ayudarme a chequear mis maletas en las máquinas realmente no me atendió, me dejó sola porque se enojó y no imprimir el ticket de abordar y casi pierdo el avión porque tuve que bajar e imprimir y hacer la fila de nuevo para pasar inmigración. Eso realmente no me gustó"
